Chapter 17

Just when he was about to close the gap, I felt his grip on my wrists loosen so I flipped us over so I was now straddling him.

"Isn't the first rule to never let your guard down?" I smiled victoriously as I stared down at him.

"You don't play fair" he commented and I shrugged my shoulders.

I already missed the warmth that radiated off his body. But I only had myself to blame. I literally just cockblocked myself and I already regretted it.
