Chapter 5 A Bloody Birthday - Part 1

Shiro walked towards his home and within a few minutes he arrived.


He was a bit tired and was bruised as usual as he was bullied by his classmates.


But more than that, he had the usual smiling face. It was because he was satisfied by reading the books.


It seemed as if the books in the old bookstore was more than enough to heal his wounds in the heart and make him feel comfortable.


“Mom.. I’m home...”. He said this as he opened the door with the keys that he had.


He walked inside the house only to find it empty yet again.


He just lowered his gazes that were filled with tears and sadness.


‘Mom and dad aren’t back yet...’, was what he thought.


He was indeed pitiful as he had never received the proper care of his parents and even the society scorned at him.


His mom and dad were quite busy since they worked in business departments and thus they would always stay late or leave early.


Even in his birthdays he would be all alone in the home.


He was a bit rich as his parents were CEO or President of their respective companies, but that money was of no use to him when he didn’t have anyone to share isnpain and joys with.


That was when he found the books that let him express all his emotions and share all the feelings and he particularly became a bookworm!


No matter where he went, be it a library, classroom, playground, washroom and even in busses, he would always carry at least one book with him all the time.


“Sigh... even today mom and dad aren’t here?”, he sighed.


It was just like another normal day, but today was actually his 18th birthday which even his parents had forgotten about.


He just put his bag near the door and just walked towards his own room which was in the first floor.


He slowly opened the door and went in and lied down on the bed.


Tears were unstoppable from his eyes. He couldn’t even think anything straight and kept coughing as the tears went to his throat making it soar.


‘Nothing was good today...’, he thought.


‘I was bullied today too... I couldn’t celebrate my birthday... my all money was taken again... and I couldn’t make a contact with her eyes...’, he thought.


Because he was rich, the bullies always bullied him and took money from him since he had an introvert personality.


He hadn’t eaten anything since the whole day due to which his stomach was grumbling.


Also, he had a crush on a girl. In fact he would be ready to do anything for her, but since he was an introvert, he couldn’t even speak with her.


After all his crush was no one other than the great Emilia who is the role model of everyone. She had long blonde hairs which easily reached her shoulders.


She had an absolutely great pair of jiggly breasts and more than that, her face was angelic.


Her figure and shape or the body could seduce any man!


It was hard to tell that she was just 17 years old girl just by looking at her. She had a great personality too and at times she was quite innocent.


That was why Shiro thought that he was unmatched for her and wouldn’t be worthy enough to approach her.


So he always distances himself from her or ran away the moment he saw her walking towards him.


“Sigh, I’m really a fool... I wish I could just disappear peacefully...”, was what he thought when suddenly he heard some weird sound.


‘KRIK’


“...”


“Huh...?”, the sound was somewhat similar to the opening of the lock of the door.


“Did mom and dad return!?”, for a second his eyes sparkled. He wanted to see if that was true and wanted to run and meet them.


But then again he hesitated for a moment.


‘Mom and dad never remembered about my birthday... they never cared about me... then why would they come...’, was what he thought.


He slowly walked towards the door of his own room and then opened it.


Then he slowly walked towards the ground floor that was present whose door was opened just now.


‘Tap Tap’


The hall way was a bit dark and he couldn’t see anything clearly after getting down.


“What just...”


He just turned his head only to be extremely surprised.


Suddenly all lights turned on and he heard some sound that was similar to crackers bursting noise.


‘POP’


“Happy Birthday Baby!!!!”


“Huh?”


He wasn’t able to comprehend the situation in which he was thrown to. Right in front of him his mom and dad were standing with cake in their hand and a party cap on their head.


They both had smiles on their faces and it seemed like they were genuinely wishing.


Shiro had never been so shocked in his entire life. The tears that were flowing down his eyes due to sadness had turned into tears of happiness.


It was probably the first time I’m his life when he was so happy. The happiness that he received due to books were not comparable to this.


He just followed and sat at the sofa as per their instruction.


They placed the cake and then placed the candles on it. He didn’t ask anything, and was just staring at them.


Both of them started to sing birthday song, and Shiro could hear that clearly.


Even his heart beat had increased due to happiness.


“Come on baby,.. blow the candle...”, his minther said with a smile.


“Is... is all this real?”, he asked.


His mom paused and said, “Yes... it is... we are regretful for not taking care of you... now we will always guve you more priority...”


His dad too nodded his head with a lowered pitiful gaze.


Shiro was satisfied just by hearing that and he smiled.


“Thanks mom.. thanks dad, this is probably the best birthday of my entire life...”


Both of them smiled back at him and he bowed his head to blow away the candle.


‘Fhooo’


A gentle wind blew past his lips which extinguished the candles and he was happy but that was only for a moment:


He felt something wet all over his back and was confused what that was.


He slowly lifted his gazes to see what happened because the songs hat his mom and dad were singing had also paused.


“Is something...”


“...”


“Wrong...?”


“...”


His eyes were left open and he could hardly believe what he was looking at.


“Mooooommmm!!! Dadddd!!!, he shouted.
