Frowning tightly, Matt Spenser's face was a bit heavy, without any excuse.
After all, he himself took Cathy Lawson here. If something really happened, it had nothing to do with anybody, but him. He would feel guilty deeply.
He told Tyrone the address and his own phone number. He said, "Let's find her separately. If you find her first, please call me."
Before Matt finished his talking, Tyrone Raman had walked away with long legs and without any look and word.
Matt Spenser stood dully, he stared his back and his eyes got deeper.
......
In the convenience store, luckily, the store manager was a person who can speak English. Cathy Lawson easily borrowed the mobile phone charger, found a seat to sit down, and plugged in the power for two minutes to start the phone.
After turning on the phone, she quickly turned to the address book and was about to call back to the Matt. The message suddenly popped up on the screen, and then one after another. Half a minute of reaction time, various information came from all directions.
Cathy was shocked.
She blinked and then reacted to open a few to see hurriedly.
All of the missed calls and asking questions were from Matt Spenser. He asked where she was and why not answer the phone.
When she pressed the return key, she accidentally saw another number, and her twilight slowly condensed.
Tyrone Raman?
He was also looking for her?
One second of stagnation, the phone suddenly rang, frightening her hand into shaking. She quickly pressed.
"Hey, hello."
"Where are you? How do you answer the phone until now?" Familiar and steady man voice, but Cathy Lawson inexplicably heard a hint of anxiety.
She dazed for a while and stiffly responded, "My, my phone had no power before.
"Send your position to me, I'll pick you up." The man didn't ask more.
Cathy felt like asking why he came back to look for her, but she felt that it was superfluous. She just pretended that nothing had happened and refused : "No, my mobile phone has just been charged, I will go back by car myself later."
"Are you sure you can find the way? This is not in China." The man sneered pitilessly, and then quickly said: "I am driving, can't be distracted, send your position over, I'll there in a minute."
After that, no longer gave her the opportunity to refuse, the man hung up the phone.
Cathy Lawson was a little embarrassed. She almost fought back just now. She was just lack of sense of direction, but not an idiot. Can't I find it yet? It's OK to use navigation.
She licked her mouth and moved her fingers to share the address through Instagram. Walking for a long time, she was so tired. As soon as she sat down, she wouldn't like to move any more..
When waiting, she gave a call back to Matt Spenser.
"Hello, senior."
"Cathy? where are you now, I have been looking for you for a long time. I'm so worried about you." got the phone call, he finally felt so relieved.
Cathy was very guilty. "I'm so sorry. I strolled and forgot the time. And I didn't find that the phone was dead."
"Anyway, it's good to hear you are fine. Tell me your address and I'm going to pick you up."
Cathy sipped her lips, hesitated for a few seconds and suddenly asked: “Are you alone? Where is Mila?"
"She is still at the hotel and I am looking for you outside."
She hesitated for a while again and asked, "Why, why did Tyrone..."
Matt answered faintly, "He lived in the same hotel with us, and we happened to meet at the hotel entrance. I was afraid that you would have something wrong, so I told him. You know It's always convenient to have one person to help."
After Cathy Lawson listened, she felt complicated and answered lightly, "Oh".
So he just helped out of humanitarian.
For a long while, she calmly said: "Senior, you go back first, I worry about Mila because she is alone and it's unsafe. Tyrone has already driven to me. I can go back in his car."
Matt was a little anxious. "Will you two quarrel?"
They just got a divorce. The meeting was more or less embarrassing.
Cathy suddenly smiled. "There is nothing to quarrel about in a broken marriage. Is it that he will leave me a pregnant woman on the street?"
She was still aware of Tyrone's personality. Even if he has no feelings for her, he is also a man of grace.
In fact, Matt had misunderstood Tyrone Raman. They had never quarreled since they were married for three years. Tyrone Raman never lost his temper before. Instead, she was sometimes annoyed with the lukewarm life, so, occasionally, she directed her anger at him. He was at most was impatient, but never argued with her.
His attitude was like a cup of weak and lukewarm water and she couldn't stand it anymore. It's his attitude that the last straw that broke their marriage.
Matt silenced for a while on the other side of the phone call, then only a gentle voice of the man came out, "Well, be careful! tell me after arriving at the hotel."
"OK."
Cathy Lawson hung up the phone and just heard the sound of the engine being extinguished at the door of the store.
She pulled out her mobile phone and was about to go out to have a look. The man had already pushed the door and walked in. The deep eyes swept over her, the thin lips licked, then said, "Go."
It's fine to talk on the phone, but Cathy felt quite awkward when they met face to face. she didn't know whether to smile or to keep a poker face.
She turned her face away from him, picked up the backpack, and nodded her head. "Well."
The car was driving smoothly on the road. Cathy sat in the back seat and leaned her head against the door. She looked tired and didn't seem to talk.
The man in front seemed to focus on driving, but inexplicably the whole body and mind were resting on the woman behind him. He glanced at the rearview mirror from time to time.
In the past, when sitting in his car, she had always sat on the co-driver‘s seat naturally. Now she ran straight to the back. He didn't pay attention to it before, but now he felt her deliberateness.
He hadn't reacted to the divorce so far, but she was used to her current status and knew she has to stay away from him. He had meant to say something but now it showed he's not qualified.
The big palm of the man on the steering wheel clenched slowly and tightly. The handsome outline collapsed more deeply, and the heart gradually shed a nameless anger.
