In the evening, neon lights flickered as Claude parked the green Hummer in front of the most luxurious seven-star hotel in Lymelathe City.
Cora swiftly stepped out of the car.
The car door opened, and Humphrey stepped out.
"Lord, your sister-in-law Jini left Mountainside Public Cemetery today, bought a set of lace lingerie and a pair of sexy black stockings at the mall, took a bath, put on the newly bought lingerie and stockings, and entered this hotel."
Cora stood aside and reported, "I have identified the other party's identity. He is Nelson, the son of a second-rate family in Lymelathe City, the Dunn family.
This person is lecherous by nature, especially fond of seducing married women. Since the collapse of Herbert, he has not forgotten about Jini. For nearly a year, Jini has adhered to her womanly virtue and avoided entanglement with him.
However, a few days ago, Nelson used various means to force Jini to submit!
First, he used a check of 150,000 dollars to tempt your aunt Abigail to speak for him and persuade Jini.
Second, he found connections in Jini's daughter Selena's kindergarten, using Selena's ability to continue studying in a high-end kindergarten to threaten Jini!
If Jini did not accompany Nelson, then Selena's education would be at risk!
Jini was pressured by these two means. Even if not for herself, she had to consider her child."
Humphrey looked up at the magnificent hotel and listened silently to Cora's report, his expression calm but his eyes growing colder, a sense of killing intent gradually spreading!
Jini was his sister-in-law, and Selena was his niece, they were the closest family to Dempsey before. But now they had become targets of someone's bullying!
This made Humphrey furious to the extreme!
Since Dempsey's death, he must protect his brother's wife and daughter!
Cora felt the killing intent emanating from Humphrey and took two steps back in shock. Then, she showed a murderous intent and said, "Lord, Cora will go up now and kill Nelson."
"No need, I will handle this personally."
Humphrey paused, then turned to Meral in the car and said, "Let Claude take you home to rest."
Meral nodded and said, "You go ahead. My sister-in-law has had a tough year. Don't let her get hurt."
Humphrey said no more, striding towards the hotel.
Cora followed by his side.
On the 13th floor of the hotel, the graceful Jini walked out of the elevator.
At this moment, she looked very different from when she was at Mountainside Public Cemetery in the morning.
During the tomb-sweeping in the morning, she was dressed plainly, giving off a humble vibe.
But now, she wore an extravagant and precious black dress. It had a sheer mesh above the collarbone and a deep V-back, showcasing her smooth and beautiful back perfectly.
Below the knee, there were long black silk legs, and she wore a pair of black high heels. These seemingly understated black high heels were full of craftsmanship and not ordinary.
A year ago, Jini was the happiest woman in all of Lymelathe City!
Because her man, Dempsey, was the most promising young talent in all of Lymelathe City!
A year ago, despite being frugal and thrifty, she lived a luxurious and extravagant life because of Dempsey's love. However, due to Dempsey's death and the collapse of Herbert, all her previous luxurious and precious clothing, jewelry, and accessories were seized to repay debts.
For the past year, she had been wearing clothes that cost only 2 to 3 dollars from night market stalls. From an affluent person to a humble one, just like that.
The only exception was this dress and high heels she was wearing now, which was the only high-end dress she wore when she was kicked out of the Herbert villa last year.
She hadn’t worn this dress in a year.
This dress was one of the gifts Dempsey gave her. It fitted her figure perfectly, as Dempsey had personally commissioned a famous foreign designer to tailor it for her.
Today, she was wearing this dress gifted by Dempsey, along with sexy lingerie, as she arrived at this hotel to meet another man!
After tonight, she would be his lover, a kept woman!
Walking into this hotel that originally belonged to Herbert, a hotel built solely by Dempsey, Jini's emotions were unsettled!
"Jini, I want to build the first seven-star hotel in Lymelathe City!"
"Jini, I've already decided on the name for this hotel, it will be called Jini Coast Hotel."
Unfortunately, shortly after the hotel opened for business, the Herbert family collapsed. The hotel became someone else's property, with a new name. The once glorious Jini Coast Hotel became a fleeting memory, now known as the Ivory Coast Hotel.
Standing outside room 136666, Jini took a deep breath, hesitated for nearly a minute, then raised her hand, curled her fingers, and knocked on the door.
"Knock, knock, knock."
The door wasn't closed properly, and as Jini knocked, it slowly opened a crack.
Inside the room, a young man with a face full of flesh, likely to have parallel numbers for height and weight, lounged on the sofa, legs crossed, smoking a cigar and drinking red wine.
This man was Nelson, the second-rate scion of the Dunn family in Lymelathe City!
Hearing the knock, Nelson's eyes light up. Without a word, he left the sofa, stridden to the door, and opened it!
"Oh, Mrs. Herbert, you finally made it! Come in, come in!"
Seeing Jini's stunning appearance, Nelson's eyes sparkled. He looked salivatingly eager.
As he spoke, he reached out and grabbed Jini's delicate arm. He pulled her into the room.
Jini's face slightly changed instinctively pulled away from Nelson's grasp, and then became somewhat uneasy: "Mr. Dunn, I didn't mean anything else."
After squinting his eyes, Nelson chuckled and said, "It's okay, it's okay. I understand. You need some time to adjust."
After letting Jini into the room and locking the door, Nelson looks at Jini with a naked gaze as if he wants to devour her!
Jini felt uneasy and fidgety. She lowered her head and blushed.
Although she had mentally prepared herself long ago, at this critical moment, she finds it hard to relax, feeling uncomfortable and having an urge to escape.
She felt that the air in the room was strange and eerie.
Nelson chuckled. He licked his lips and said, "Back when you married Dempsey, I had the honor of attending your wedding with my father. You danced at the wedding, and that memory is still fresh in my mind. I was so envious of Dempsey back then, how could he marry such a beautiful woman like you!"
Jini's heart pounded as she listened, remaining silent.
Nelson exaggerated and said, "It's a pity for Dempsey to die, but it gives me a chance to have you. This is the greatest reward from heaven for me!"
Jini clenched her teeth. She felt a nameless anger rising within her. But soon, this anger subsides.
Over the past year, she has grown accustomed to such remarks. In Lymelathe City, few people mourn Dempsey's death; most think it was for the best.
She knew why this was so. Dempsey was once the richest and most outstanding person in Lymelathe. Only after his death could others rise to prominence!
