"Don't worry about it too much. As long as Grandpa believes it, that's all that matters."
Holding a fake marriage certificate, Ceren proudly declared, "I am pursuing my own happiness. My future husband will definitely be a favored son of heaven! It could never be you!"
Adohi, unbothered, responded, "Though you are a great beauty, I have no interest in being your husband. I was forced into this situation. Now that I have this fake certificate and have completed the task, I'm satisfied."
Of course, Adohi did not want to give up his carefree life for a beautiful woman already betrothed to another.
Ceren snorted, "Grandpa will definitely force us to sleep together. Remember, once the bedroom door is closed, you cannot sleep in my bed!"
"Furthermore, you can't touch any of my belongings. Most importantly, I have the freedom to live and love as I please, and so do you. We shall not interfere in each other's lives, only keeping this secret in front of Grandpa!"
Adohi spread his hands and said, "Sure, to be honest with you, I have seven other marriage tasks to complete. Sometimes I won't come home at night. Don't worry about me."
"What did you say?"
Enraged and dissatisfied with Adohi, Ceren retorted, "How could someone like you have so many marriage matters? You're just a penniless nobody, why would anyone agree to marry you?"
After mocking him, Ceren took the fake certificate and walked towards her car, her graceful figure swaying attractively.
However, before Adohi could get in the car, she sped off.
"Such a spoiled princess. Soon you'll apologize to me, I guarantee it,"
Adohi mused, smiling slightly.
Although Ceren was hot-tempered, she lacked the inherent cold arrogance of Lunet!
Having come down the mountain, Adohi did not rush back to the Lindsey Family.
He wandered nearby for a while, tasting local snacks and experiencing the local customs.
Before he knew it, evening approached.
At that moment, Old Master Lindsey called personally.
"Adohi! Dinner is ready, come home to eat!"
"I've already scolded Ceren for leaving you behind. It was her fault, and she will apologize to you!"
Hearing this, Adohi couldn't help but smile.
He thought to himself, 'So soon, the moment of retribution has come.'
Adohi didn't reply, and Old Master Lindsey's tone became stern, "Ceren, come and apologize to Adohi! Are you disrespecting your grandfather?"
Ceren, not daring to disobey her grandfather, begrudgingly apologized.
"Adohi, I am sorry. I apologize. Is that enough?"
Hearing Ceren's reluctant apology, Adohi grinned broadly, "Ceren, what did you say? I didn't hear you!"
"Adohi!"
Ceren, infuriated and feeling toyed with, glared at Adohi.
"Ceren!"
Old Master Lindsey's voice grew even more severe, "Ceren, Adohi said he didn't hear you. Say it again, loudly and sincerely!"
Facing her furious grandfather, Ceren could only relent, "Adohi, I truly am wrong, it's all my fault. Please forgive me!"
"If you're still angry, we can resolve this tonight in our room. Is that okay?"
Old Master Lindsey quickly interjected, "Adohi, Ceren knows she was wrong. Come back for dinner!"
Thinking of Ceren's frustrated expression, Adohi felt extremely pleased.
"Grandpa, I'm not angry at all. I was just enjoying the local atmosphere. I'll be right back."
After hanging up, Adohi was in high spirits.
Ceren, aren't you quite proud?
Aren't you going to apologize to me nicely now?
On the other hand, Ceren, breathing heavily in anger, swore to herself, "Adohi, just you wait! I'll get back at you!"
…
At the Lindsey Villa.
Mr. Lindsey, looking at two marriage certificates, smiled contentedly, "Adohi, Ceren, you are now husband and wife. You'll sleep in the same room and start a family soon!"
"I will work hard!"
Adohi smiled happily and teasingly said to Ceren, "You should also work hard and cooperate!"
Ceren glared at him in disgust, "Dream on, you toad!"
Upset, Ceren spent the entire dinner glaring irritably at Adohi.
However, Adohi paid her no attention, enjoying his meal and lavishly praising Dena Lee's cooking, "Auntie, your cooking is fantastic, I have a great appetite!"
"Hehe, eat more if you like it!"
Dena was delighted with Adohi's compliments, her smile as radiant as blooming flowers.
Despite being over forty, she maintained her figure and skin perfectly.
Exuding a charm and grace surpassing that of many noble ladies.
"Adohi, you should start calling me 'Mom' now!"
Adohi, beaming, loudly called out, "Mom!"
"Good, good!"
Dena readily agreed and when she looked at Adohi, she always felt that he had a special aura, and his unique charisma made people feel extremely comfortable.
However, Ceren felt even more aggrieved, gritting her teeth in anger, "It's just a fake marriage, and yet he speaks so affectionately, this shameless jerk!"
"I'm full, I'm going out to meet my besties!"
Just as Ceren put down her utensils, Old Master Lindsey said with a smile, "You're married now, why not take Adohi with you? Let him get to know your friends."
"Grandpa!"
Ceren, unwillingly, said, "My friends are all daughters of wealthy families and young masters. He, Adohi, is just a country bumpkin..."
"What did you say?"
Mr. Lindsey's face suddenly turned grim, "Your friends getting to know Adohi is their good fortune! And don't call Adohi a country bumpkin, he's your good husband!"
"Grandpa!"
Adohi waved his hand and smiled, "Ceren is a vibrant modern woman, she desires her personal space, I understand. I won't attend her friends' gathering. I'll just wander around outside."
Indeed, Adohi had no desire to associate with Ceren and her kind!
It's beneath his dignity!
Ceren glared fiercely at Adohi, as if to say, "At least you have some self-awareness!"
Then, she ran upstairs to get dressed.
Dena, Adohi's mother-in-law, said somewhat awkwardly, "Adohi, my daughter has a fiery temper, spoiled by us, I hope you can be more understanding."
"I will!"
Adohi nodded and smiled, always speaking kindly to Dena and Grandfather Lin.
"Adohi is really sensible."
Dena and Old Master Lindsey couldn't help but exchange smiles, finding Adohi more and more likable.
After the meal, Adohi realized he had left his phone in the room and went back to retrieve it.
"Beauty, please open the door."
He knocked for a long time, but Ceren didn’t open the door.
Adohi, not being a coward, forcefully opened the door, only to find Ceren not in the room.
"Where did she go? Jump out of the window?"
Puzzled, Adohi noticed Ceren walking out, humming a pop tune, wrapped in a short pink towel.
The tiny T-shirt barely covering the mysterious area on her beautiful legs.
Her chest, exceptionally tumultuous and domineering, almost bursting through the towel!
Her long, snow-white legs moving gracefully, the tiny red strip of cloth barely concealing the captivating mystery!
It was incredibly suggestive!
Coupled with Ceren's stunning beauty and flawless skin, she looked like a lotus emerging from water, radiating unparalleled charm!
"My goodness..."
Witnessing this unexpected stunning scene, Adohi couldn't help but widen his eyes, taking a deep breath of her fragrance!
