Omarr's words made Canyn slightly stunned.
He was unaware of who had called Omarr and mentioned him.
"I indeed met a Blue Star ability user from the Secret Service yesterday," Canyn said with a smile. "Is there a story behind this?"
"No story. It was a call from a junior of an old friend of mine, saying my old friend was being diagnosed and it wasn't appropriate to disturb. The one conducting the diagnosis was named Canyn," Omarr explained. "So I called Owan and asked him to contact the Tokai Secret Service, instructing them to wait until my friend's diagnosis was over before looking for someone."
"That must have been me. Is your senior friend named Uyiosa?" Canyn asked with a smile.
"Exactly," Omarr replied seriously. "Why did the Tokai Secret Service come to you? Is there any trouble?"
"No trouble. Just involved in some matters. I was attacked by a cultivator and had a fight. Then they came to ask me, warning me not to fight in the city," Canyn explained casually.
"Uncle, sometimes the Secret Service can be unreasonable. If you ever have any troubles, just let me know," Owan said earnestly.
The Secret Service is vast, powerful, and complex.
It is divided into three parts, including the Red Group, Blue Group, and Sky Group.
The Red Group consists of martial artists, all of them being ancient martial artists.
The Blue Group comprises ability users.
And the Sky Group, the most powerful and influential within the Secret Service, consists entirely of cultivators.
The Secret Service encompasses all these personnel, making its overall strength extremely formidable.
Whether they are ancient martial artists, ability users, or cultivators, abiding by the law is inseparable from the Secret Service's power.
Law, without a force to enforce it, a force that overwhelmingly suppresses the majority, is nothing.
"Haha, power is logic. I've done no wrong, who can do anything to me," Canyn said dismissively. "Let's not talk about this. Now that we've eaten and drunk our fill, let's discuss important matters."
Everyone perked up, looking at Canyn.
Canyn took out a booklet, which was the previously prepared 7th, 8th, and 9th levels of the mysterious martial arts.
This was not the original but a copy written by Canyn.
Omarr held the booklet, his hands trembling with excitement.
The continuation of a lifelong pursuit and longing, now truly in his hands, his emotions were indescribably complex.
"Brother, Owan, Vincie, you look at it first. The heart method is actually very simple, especially in connection with yours. Easy to understand. After you get a slight grasp, I will help you advance to Homosapien level," Canyn said with a smile.
Everyone was stunned. The Homosapien level, so difficult to attain in their eyes, seemed incredibly easy for Canyn. This was almost unbelievable, and everyone felt their hearts racing.
However, Omarr, Owan, and Vincie quickly began studying it.
"If you have any questions about cultivation, feel free to ask me," Canyn said with a smile.
"Uncle, I do have a question. In the fourth level, there's a phrase about 'transitional acupuncture points.' Does this mean these points are only for transition?" Uneeda immediately asked.
"The transitional aspect is certain, but if it's only for transition, it would slow down cultivation. The actual situation should be like this," Canyn began explaining.
After a series of over a dozen questions, everyone was deep in thought, the fog in their minds cleared by Canyn's explanations. They felt that if they studied in this direction, their previous confusions would be resolved.
Now, everyone had overlooked Canyn's age.
His insight and proficiency had won everyone's respect.
"Ziasia, come, let me take your pulse," Canyn said with a smile. "Whether it's ancient martial arts or cultivation, these are not the fundamentals of the Immortal Doctors sect. Our foundation is still medical skills."
Ziasia extended her hand, feeling her health deteriorating. Despite her care for her health, age was something she couldn't control.
It is a natural process that people inevitably move towards death, no one being an exception.
Even cultivators face the same fate. Looking at the ancestors of the Immortal Doctors sect, despite being cultivators and reaching the Foundation Establishment phase, they too returned to dust.
Even by using secret methods to prolong life for a hundred years, they too couldn't escape this fate.
Unless one surpasses the Foundation Establishment phase and chases the legendary immortals, perhaps only then can one possess truly everlasting life.
Ophir and others eagerly watched Canyn, deeply concerned about Ziasia's health. Even though she was of considerable age and it wouldn't be regrettable if her body gave out, which child wouldn't wish for their mother to live a long and healthy life?
Everyone remained silent while Canyn took Ziasia's pulse, not wanting to disturb him.
"It's natural aging, no significant illness. Just some minor hidden ailments. Yoshiro," Canyn looked at Yoshiro.
"Uncle," Yoshiro immediately stood up.
"I'll write a prescription. The herbs on it are expensive, you'll procure them. Let Ziasia take them regularly, and living a long life shouldn't be an issue," Canyn said. Yoshiro, being wealthy, was naturally assigned this task by Canyn.
"Uncle, I have paper and pen here," Uneeda very perceptively brought over paper and pen.
Canyn quickly began to write.
Uneeda's eyes lit up at the sight of such beautiful calligraphy, resembling dragons and phoenixes dancing in the sky, exuding an aura as if it wanted to soar to the heavens.
After finishing, Canyn handed the prescription to Yoshiro, who carefully stored it away.
As for the value of the herbs listed, Yoshiro didn't even consider it.
Not to mention his own wealth, even without it, he would spend everything he had to obtain these herbs, as this concerned his mother's longevity. As a son, it was natural for him to do everything within his power.
"Canyn, could you please check on everyone else too?" Children care for their parents, and parents likewise worry about their children.
Seeing such a great opportunity, Ziasia wanted Canyn to check on everyone, to address any issues timely.
"There's no problem with that," Canyn, in a good mood, agreed with a smile.
However, after the check-up, some issues were indeed found.
Ophir had a minor problem with his lumbar spine. Although not serious at the moment, thanks to some internal energy nourishment, it could become a major problem if it persisted.
Yoshiro also had a small issue. He was slightly overweight, with a bit of fatty liver. Canyn advised Yoshiro to lose weight and drink less alcohol, and prescribed a medicine for conditioning.
Vincie, Wilkin, and Uneeda were all in good health.
However, when it was Ziasia's turn, Canyn's expression suddenly turned serious.
His sudden change from relaxed to serious made everyone tense up.
"Uncle," Ophir, the most nervous, inquired softly.
Wilkin and Uneeda also looked at Canyn anxiously.
Meanwhile, Ziasia herself seemed very calm.
"You already knew," Canyn said, looking at the calm Ziasia.
"Yes, Uncle," Ziasia replied, still composed.
"What's going on?" Ophir asked, looking at Ziasia.
"Ophir, Ziasia has lung cancer, and it's already in the late stage," Canyn said solemnly.
Ziasia had known but chose not to say, clearly intending to bear it alone. Knowing her condition was terminal, she didn't want to worry her family.
"What?" Ophir, Wilkin, and Uneeda were shocked, and Ziasia and the others' faces turned pale.
"Mom, how could this be? Why didn't you tell us?" Uneeda immediately started crying.
"The disease is already in its late stage, and there's no cure. I don't want to spend my days in a hospital. I'd rather wait for my time to come and leave peacefully," Ziasia said with a faint smile, still very calm even at this moment.
Canyn was somewhat impressed by Ziasia's composure.
To be so calm in the face of death, regardless of whether she had struggled previously, was remarkable.
"How could you be so foolish?" Ophir said gravely, "With treatment, there's always hope."
"It's just a matter of time, and the process is very painful. I don't want that," Ziasia said with a slight smile. "I choose to leave quietly at a certain time."
"Mom," Wilkin and Uneeda cried even harder.
"I didn't expect Uncle Master's medical skills to be so superb. Just by taking my pulse, he was able to accurately diagnose my illness. May I ask Master, how much longer do I have?" Ziasia calmly asked Canyn.
"A maximum of six months, and the time without pain will not exceed one month," Canyn said confidently.
"Look, I still have more than a month. Wilkin, Xaia, don't cry. Everyone dies eventually," Ziasia said indifferently.
Ophir was deeply saddened, and both Wilkin and Uneeda cried even harder.
Ziasia, Vincie, and Yoshiro were silently weeping, and Yoshiro also looked sombre.
"Lung cancer is not incurable," Canyn felt compelled to say something, seeing everyone's reaction.
In the eyes of Immortal Doctors, there's no such thing as an incurable disease. It's just a matter of how much one is willing to pay.
Even the King of Hell would change his decree for an Immortal Doctor.
With that statement from Canyn, everyone's attention was drawn.
"Uncle, is there really a cure?"
"Uncle, can my mom be saved?"
"Uncle, please save my mom."
"Uncle"
"Uncle"
"Canyn"
Yoshiro, Vincie, Ziasia, and even the usually composed Ziasia looked at Canyn with hope.
In her despair, Ziasia had made a choice without hope.
But if there was even a slight chance, who would give up their life easily?
"It can be cured, and completely cured," Canyn affirmed, looking into everyone's hopeful eyes.
