Just as this was happening, an old servant stumbled in, urgently addressing Jasper, "Patriarch, Prince Gavin has forcefully entered with his men, claiming he's here to search our the Xenos Family for a wanted fugitive."
"Gavin personally leading a team to capture a fugitive..." Elsie's expression subtly changed.
"Uncle, Elsie, Anya, I need to leave now," said Titus, turning to head towards the back door, only to be stopped by Anya.
"You've caused such a mess, and you think you can just walk away?" Anya glared at Titus.
"Anya, do you know what happened to Titus?" Jasper quickly asked. He and Elsie only vaguely knew that Titus was wanted, and that he had previously claimed to be framed, but he didn't say who framed him.
"Dad, sister, do you have any idea what trouble Titus has gotten into? Let me tell you, this guy has offended someone in Skynet Sect who should not have been crossed. The power behind this person is more than enough to destroy our the Xenos Family," Anya said bitterly, glaring at Titus as if she wanted to beat him.
"Little sister, Titus said he was framed and his Sea of Qi was destroyed. No matter who that person in Skynet Sect is, they were the first to act against Titus," Elsie said.
"Sister, you're still defending him? Do you have any idea who he has offended? He's angered the direct disciple of the Skynet's Sect Master," Anya said through gritted teeth.
Jasper and Elsie's expressions changed drastically. One was the head of the Xenos Family, and the other a general of the Sparrow Kingdom; they were well aware that Skynet Sect had recently accepted a direct disciple.
The news had spread throughout the Sparrow Kingdom, and many envied this direct disciple named Chloe Lynch. It was clear that Chloe's future was bound for greatness.
"Titus, was your Sea of Qi destroyed by this Chloe?" Elsie looked at Titus.
Unable to hide the truth any longer, Titus nodded and said, "I will avenge this myself. Elsie, you don't need to worry."
Before Elsie could respond, Anya sneered, "You avenge yourself? With what? Even in your current state, you think you can take revenge? Not to mention your Sea of Qi is damaged and only has thirty percent of its capacity, even when it was intact, you wouldn't stand a chance against Chloe with ten of you combined."
"Titus, your talent in Sparrow Kingdom is decent, but in the whole Eastern Region of Lindblum State, you're nothing. Do you know how many Inner Sect disciples Skynet Sect has? A total of one thousand three hundred and forty-seven, and you were just one of them."
"How many core disciples are there? Just over a hundred, and these core disciples are the cream of the crop, like how you were ranked fifth in the Outer Sect."
"As for the Sect Master's direct disciples, they are the elite among the core disciples, only the best can become direct disciples of the Sect Master. You're far from even the core disciples, let alone the Sect Master's direct disciple. You still dream of taking revenge?" Anya said disdainfully.
"Titus is not alone; he has our the Xenos Family. If he can't take revenge alone, our the Xenos Family can help him," Elsie retorted.
"Sister, you always protect him..." Anya looked dissatisfied, her chance to teach Titus a lesson ruined by Elsie.
"What your sister said is right. Titus is a member of our the Xenos Family. Whatever happens, if he faces injustice, our the Xenos Family should protect him. If someone targets him, our the Xenos Family cannot let him be bullied. Enough of this, I'll go out and deal with Gavin," Jasper said, then swiftly left.
"Anya, keep an eye on Titus. Don't let him wander off. I'll go check the situation with father," Elsie said and followed Jasper out.
Anya coldly faced Titus, not even giving him a glance.
Titus was used to Anya's attitude. Since childhood, she had always been cold, even earning the nickname "Ice Beauty."
"Titus, I thought you would have learned some sense after such an ordeal, but you are as reckless and ignorant as ever. I advise you to give up the idea of revenge because you have no chance,"
Anya said coldly. "You and her are not from the same world; you have no idea how big the gap between you and her is. Even if she doesn't come after you, just one word from her is enough to kill you a hundred, a thousand times over."
"Even if she were to fight you fairly, with your half-ruined body, could you contend with her? Don't forget, she's the direct disciple of the Skynet Sect's Master, with talent far beyond your imagination. To put it bluntly, you can only look up to her for the rest of your life."
"You've never interacted with core disciples, so you have no idea how strong the core disciples of each sect are. They are far beyond the existence of Inner Sect disciples. To be a direct disciple of the Sect Master is to be the leader of the core disciples."
After saying this, Anya left without paying further attention to Titus.
Looking at Anya's retreating figure, Titus murmured, "How do you know that the current me is no longer the me of the past?"
Titus followed, but instead of entering the front hall, he stood outside and watched with others. Having not returned for three years, his appearance had changed significantly. Aside from close people like Elsie, it was difficult for others to recognize him at first glance.
With many people around the fence and their attention focused on the front hall, Titus was taken as just another the Xenos Family disciple.
In the front hall, a young man in a golden dragon robe sat on a grandmaster's chair, fanning himself and squinting at Jasper and others.
Two elderly men in black and white striped martial robes followed him, along with a group of guards radiating a strong killing aura.
Six the Xenos Family disciples lay injured in front of them, some with broken limbs.
"Prince Gavin, why did your men attack my the Xenos Family disciples? I hope your highness can provide a reason," Jasper said.
"I, the crown prince, have already informed you. Those guard dogs stubbornly refused to let me in, so I had to teach them a lesson," Gavin said indifferently.
Guard dogs...
Elsie was furious. These six were the Xenos Family disciples, and Gavin had insulted the Xenos Family. She immediately stepped forward, but Jasper stopped her with a hand.
Jasper knew his daughter Elsie's temperament well. She was straightforward, fit for the battlefield, but not for confrontations.
"May I ask why Prince Gavin has come to our the Xenos Family?" Jasper asked solemnly.
"Xenos patriarch, are you getting old, or is your memory failing? A few days ago, my House of Windsor issued a notice and sent someone to inform you. You were to hand over Titus. Three days have passed, and there's been no response from the Xenos Family. Are you disregarding the House of Windsor?" Gavin said with authority, snapping his fan shut.
"Prince Gavin, what exactly did Titus do wrong that the House of Windsor wants to apprehend him?" Jasper asked.
"Jasper, it seems your time as patriarch is coming to an end. Such a big incident has happened, and you're still unaware," Gavin scoffed.
"Gavin, how dare you address my father by his name," Elsie shouted angrily, striking out with her palm.
Sky Splitting Palm!
Her Element Integration Stage cultivation combined with a mid-grade Yellow-grade technique was formidable. Elsie, who had battled on the frontlines for years, had cultivated a fierce aura.
With the addition of the killing intent, its power increased significantly.
The power of her palm could easily shatter large rocks.
Seeing Elsie's attack, Gavin smirked contemptuously. A unique blood energy surged around him as he pointed at the air and shouted, "Get back!"
Thud!
Elsie was knocked back, retreating three steps. She quickly circulated her true qi to expel the invading blood energy from her body.
After doing this, her face turned pale.
Jasper and the others looked grave, realizing Gavin's cultivation was above Elsie's. Moreover, the aura surrounding Gavin was peculiar, as if streams of blood were flowing around him.
"He has mastered the Blood Killing Technique!" an elder of the Xenos Family exclaimed.
"Blood Killing Technique..."
Jasper and the elders looked shocked. The House of Windsor's dominance and their position as the ruling family of the Sparrow Kingdom was due in part to their ancestral technique, the Blood Killing Technique.
This unique method could erode the true qi of martial cultivators, suppress their cultivation, or even erode their meridians, leaving lifelong injuries.
The technique was domineering but also incredibly difficult to cultivate. Only a few individuals in each generation could master it, and those who did were usually highly talented, comparable to the core disciples of a sect or higher.
The Third Prince, Gavin Windsor, had previously only shown average potential, but now he displayed immense talent.
Jasper and the others only now realized how deep Gavin's scheming had been. He had deliberately appeared weak for many years, only to rise to power now with great force.
