Xanth City, one of the six main cities of the Yanille Empire, is located in the eastern part of Lindblum State and is known as the foremost defensive city in the east, being the most prosperous place in the region.
Titus and Raelyn stood on high ground, gazing at the horizon where Xanth City lay.
Raelyn was deeply shocked because Xanth City was so vast that it seemed endless at first sight.
Numerous cloud boats descended from all directions, and countless Martial Cultivators, some in exotic attire, streamed in and out of the city gates.
Titus and Raelyn entered the eastern gate of Xanth City and found a tavern where they ordered many dishes.
Fortunately, their cloud boat was destroyed only at the edge of the Wuwang Sea, allowing Titus and Raelyn to survive and reach the shore.
All along the way, they had only dry food to eat, and now they could finally enjoy a hot meal.
While waiting for the dishes, Titus listened to the people around him. The hottest topic at the moment was the struggle for entry into the South Figaro Martial Hall.
If one could be admitted to South Figaro Martial Hall, it would be a meteoric rise, not only allowing training within the hall but also, with some luck, the chance to become a member of the hall.
"Look, people from Ink Sea Tower have arrived," someone shouted.
At that moment, everyone in the tavern gathered at the windows. Titus and Raelyn also approached and looked in the direction everyone was facing. They saw a group of young men and women in ink-colored martial robes riding past on cloud horses, exuding a powerful and profound aura.
Ink Sea Tower is one of the five great Sects of the eastern Lindblum State. Although it ranks last, the gap between it and the other Sects, except for the strongest Northern Mysterious Sect, is not significant.
"Why haven't we seen Russell Martin, the top young figure of Ink Sea Tower?" someone asked.
"You're thinking too much. Why would Russell appear here? These disciples are only core disciples of Ink Sea Tower, aiming to enter South Figaro Martial Hall. Russell is different; he already has the qualifications to enter South Figaro Martial Hall," a red-robed Martial Cultivator said.
"The struggle for entry into South Figaro Martial Hall hasn't started yet, and Russell already has the qualifications? Are you joking?" another person countered.
"I'm not joking. Go and inquire for yourself. Not only has Russell obtained the qualifications, but I've also heard that the top disciples of the other four Sects have as well," the red-robed Martial Cultivator continued.
"Has the rule changed? Didn't everyone have to compete together in the past?" someone asked with a frown.
"South Figaro Martial Hall has just changed the rules. Actually, it's the same whether they compete or not. The top disciples of the five Sects are bound to seize the qualifications. So, South Figaro Martial Hall decided to directly grant the top disciples of the five Sects the slots," the red-robed Martial Cultivator explained.
"If that's the case, won't we miss out on the competition among the top disciples of the five Sects?"
Someone expressed regret, as the main attraction of each South Figaro Martial Hall entry contest was the competition among the top disciples of the five Sects.
"No, we will still see it, and the competition will be even more intense..." The red-robed Martial Cultivator stopped mid-sentence, leaving everyone hanging.
"Come on, tell us."
"Don't keep us in suspense," an impatient Martial Cultivator urged.
Seeing that he had sufficiently piqued everyone's interest, the red-robed Martial Cultivator said with a smile, "This year, South Figaro Martial Hall has specially opened the Earthly Martial Palace and placed some rare treasures inside, the most valuable of which is said to be a spiritual weapon. Russell and others will surely not miss this opportunity and will definitely enter Earthly Martial Palace to compete."
"South Figaro Martial Hall is actually offering a spiritual weapon as a reward..."
"If a spiritual weapon is the reward, then this competition will definitely be more intense and even more exciting than before," someone commented.
Everyone looked envious.
A spiritual weapon is a dream item for Martial Cultivators. Possessing one not only enhances one's combat power but also allows the integration of the Martial Spirit into the weapon, unleashing greater power.
However, spiritual weapons are rare, and even the five great Sects don't have many. Only top forces like South Figaro Martial Hall can offer a spiritual weapon as a reward.
"I envy them for being able to enter South Figaro Martial Hall," Raelyn said wistfully.
"You will also be able to enter South Figaro Martial Hall in the future," Titus said with a light smile.
"Don't joke. I know my own abilities. My talent is not high, otherwise, I wouldn't be at just the Qi Refining Stage eight layers... Entering South Figaro Martial Hall is simply impossible," Raelyn shook her head slightly.
Raelyn's cultivation had always lagged behind her peers, even with better opportunities at Heavenly Ultimate Hall.
"Talent does not wholly determine success or failure. As long as you work hard and don't give up, you will have a chance," Titus said earnestly.
"Yes, I will work hard."
Raelyn nodded and then looked at Titus, “Xenos, with your capabilities, you will surely be able to enter South Figaro Martial Hall, and you might even have a chance to become a member."
Titus, being a strong Blade Cultivator, seemed to Raelyn to be no less capable than the core disciples of the eastern five Sects.
"People from the Icy Heart Sect have arrived," someone announced.
The people in conversation turned their heads and looked towards the road. A giant snow beast was pulling an ice crystal carriage.
On the carriage stood a group of beautiful women in ice-blue martial robes, among them several stunningly beautiful.
"That woman is so beautiful."
"I heard she is a new disciple of Marlee Great Protector Sect, named Anya Xenos."
"Not only is she a beauty, but her cold demeanor is also unique." Many people stared at Anya, standing at the front of the ice crystal carriage, some even gawking.
Titus naturally saw Anya, his cousin, standing at the front of the carriage. After a month apart, Anya's aura was even more powerful.
"She has improved so quickly. In just a month, she's almost unrecognizable," Titus thought to himself.
Although he often clashed with Anya, seeing her achieve such progress made him genuinely happy for her.
"If Uncle and Elsie were here, seeing Anya's achievements, they would be even happier," Titus felt a bit guilty.
His uncle and Elsie were supposed to come to Xanth City but couldn't leave Sparrow Capital due to Titus's situation and had to stay temporarily at the Xenos Family.
"Very soon, this matter will be completely resolved," Titus's eyes flashed coldly, and a humming sound emanated from his body, signaling the powerful blade intent coursing through him.
After the two Sects passed by, Titus and Raelyn returned to their seats.
“Xenos, why don't you go to South Figaro Martial Hall later? You don't need to accompany me to the Yates Family..." Raelyn hesitated before speaking, worried about delaying Titus's plans.
"The struggle for entry slots is in one day. I'll take you to the Yates Family first after we eat. Once I've seen your father, it's not too late for me to go to South Figaro Martial Hall," Titus said.
“Xenos, thank you." Raelyn looked at Titus, her eyes full of gratitude.
After the meal arrived, Titus and Raelyn quickly finished eating and, after paying, asked for directions to the Yates Family. Then they set off towards the Yates Family.
