While the Fox family began their preparations, Ruxley was sitting cross-legged in a training room inside a villa not far from Donghae Bluesky Hospital, focused on his cultivation.
With each breath he took, strands of visible red light emanated from his body, gradually coalescing behind him into a faint but increasingly distinct image of Shura. This image radiated a terrifying aura that could make one's soul tremble.
The technique Ruxley was practicing was called the Blood Fiend Shura Technique.
He had unexpectedly acquired this technique in the Death Battlefield.
At that time, when Ruxley first entered the Death Battlefield, he was only a third-grade martial artist. To survive, he had to take on simple bounty tasks to improve his strength.
During one of these missions, Ruxley accidentally discovered a mysterious black token and unwittingly stained it with his own blood.
As soon as the token absorbed his blood, it suddenly emitted a brilliant light and ultimately transformed into a stream of light that merged with his body. Immediately afterward, an immense amount of information surged from the black token into Ruxley's mind.
Once Ruxley fully absorbed this information, he realized that the black token was not an ordinary object but a relic left by an ancient powerhouse known as The great shura. It contained vast amounts of inheritance techniques and cultivation knowledge. Among these was the Blood Fiend Shura Technique.
The Blood Fiend Shura Technique was a supreme technique created by The great shura through his lifetime of effort, making it incredibly powerful.
In the current world, martial artists were classified into nine grade: grade one to three were low-level martial artists, grade four to six were mid-level martial artists, and grade seven to nine were high-level martial artists.
Due to their strength far surpassing that of ordinary martial artists, seventh-grade martial artists were also referred to as Commanders, eighth-grade martial artists as Warlords, and ninth-grade martial artists as War Gods.
Through the Blood Fiend Shura Technique, Ruxley managed to cultivate to the peak of the eighth grade in just three years, gaining strength far beyond that of a typical War God.
As Ruxley continued his cultivation, the red light surrounding him grew more intense, and the Shura image behind him became increasingly clear, as if it were about to come to life.
When the red light around Ruxley reached its peak, he suddenly opened his eyes.
In the next instant, the red light around him contracted abruptly before exploding outward, transforming into a red torrent that swept in all directions.
Boom!
This torrent of red energy was incredibly powerful, instantly tearing everything around him to shreds.
In an instant, the entire training room looked like it had been ravaged by a typhoon, left in complete disarray.
"Finally, I've broken through!"
Ruxley slowly opened his eyes, a surge of excitement welling up inside him.
Ever since reaching the peak of the eighth-grade, Ruxley's strength had hit a bottleneck. For the past six months, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't break through to the ninth-grade.
However today, perhaps because he had finally found Carmelia and resolved his inner turmoil, he had shattered the bottleneck and achieved a breakthrough to the ninth-grade in one fell swoop.
From now on, Ruxley was a true War God.
"So this is the indestructible golden body of a War God? Such immense power!"
Ruxley closed his eyes, savoring the overwhelming power surging through his body. A look of bliss appeared on his face.
Upon breaking through to the ninth-grade, his body underwent a fundamental transformation. His bones became as radiant as jade, emitting a faint golden light, and his entire flesh was enveloped in a formidable energy, brimming with terrifying strength.
When a martial artist broke through to the ninth-grade, their body underwent a profound metamorphosis, with their bones and flesh gradually evolving toward an indestructible golden body.
Whether it was in terms of strength or defense, everything had increased dramatically. Not even bullets could penetrate him now—this was the indestructible golden body unique to a War God.
However, when most martial artists broke through to the ninth grade, it typically took a long time of continued cultivation to fully transform their bodies into a golden form.
Yet, Ruxley had just made the breakthrough, and his body had already completed the transformation. Moreover, his strength was several times greater than that of an average War God.
Clenching his fist, Ruxley unleashed a punch into the air.
Boom!
A visible shockwave burst from his fist, instantly reducing the couch in the training room to pieces.
"Haha, this feels amazing!"
Ruxley excitedly looked at his fist, his eyes filled with uncontrollable joy.
After breaking through to the ninth-grade, his strength had increased at least tenfold.
Now, except for the old monsters hidden within various powerful factions, there was probably no one in the entire world who could stand against him.
"I wonder if I can now unlock the second layer of the Shura Token."
Ruxley extended his right hand and focused his thoughts.
A black token slowly emerged from his palm. This black token was about the size of his palm, with an eight-armed Shura intricately carved on both sides, emanating a terrifying aura. This was the Shura Token that Ruxley had obtained.
The Shura Token contained five layers of space, each with different inheritances, and each layer could only be unlocked when one reached a certain level of strength.
So far, Ruxley had only managed to unlock the first layer of the Shura Token, which had granted him some cultivation techniques. As for the other layers, his strength had been insufficient to unlock them.
But now that he had broken through to the ninth-grade, his power had increased significantly. Perhaps he could now unlock the next layer of space.
Taking a deep breath, Ruxley slowly infused his internal spiritual energy into the Shura Token.
In an instant, the Shura Token emitted a dazzling red light.
Ruxley suddenly felt as though the world was spinning around him. The next moment, his consciousness was transported into a strange space.
After a brief moment of disorientation, Ruxley quickly regained his composure and looked around. He found himself surrounded by swirling white clouds, within which a massive palace stood majestically.
The palace was imposing, and at its base were two enormous doors made of blood jade, with lifelike carvings of two eight-armed Shura that sent chills down his spine.
"What is this place?"
Ruxley stared in awe at the towering palace before him, his heart filled with shock. He had never imagined that he would find himself in such a mysterious place.
As he stood there, full of questions, the once-closed doors of the palace suddenly swung open with a thunderous sound.
The next moment, an intense blood-red mist surged out from within the palace, revealing a long corridor.
Ruxley's gaze sharpened as he lifted his leg and walked toward the corridor.
The moment he stepped into the palace, a torrent of information flooded into his mind.
Ruxley's heart trembled, and he instantly understood where this palace was. The Blood Fiend Hall.
This palace was none other than the residence of The great shura himself. The legendary Blood Fiend Hall.
