Ruxley watched as Voragoshe approached with fierce determination, a slight smirk forming at the corner of his mouth.
He closed the car door, looking at Voragoshe with a playful expression, chuckling as he said, "Oh my, Mr. Capet, bringing so many people to see me off? That's quite the courtesy!"
Voragoshe glared at Ruxley and snorted coldly, "You think you can offend me and just walk away? There's no such easy way out in this world!"
"I'm telling you, no one in all of Shiphay City dares to go against me!"
"Today, I'll show you exactly what happens when you cross me!"
Voragoshe's tone was outrageously arrogant as if the entire city belonged to him.
But one couldn't really blame him for being so arrogant, though.
In Shiphay City, no one truly dared provoke him, especially top families like the Romanov and Cole families. They treated him with respect and always gave him leeway.
They knew better than anyone just how powerful the Savoy family was.
Ever since Lole Savoy broke through to the War God level a year ago, becoming the youngest War God in the history of the Saultrouge Kingdom, the Savoy family had risen to unparalleled prominence, with a clear trend of becoming the top family in the nation.
Although Voragoshe was nothing more than an uneducated, idle rich kid, he was still Lole's genuine cousin.
No family wanted to risk offending the Savoy family, a true powerhouse, just because of a wastrel like Voragoshe.
That was why all the top families had repeatedly warned their members to avoid any conflict with him.
And because of this constant indulgence from the major families, Voragoshe became increasingly reckless and domineering.
Faced with his threats, Ruxley remained completely unfazed.
He calmly lit a cigarette, exhaling a cloud of smoke before smiling faintly and saying, "Well then, I'll be waiting to see what you've got."
Voragoshe's face darkened.
He hadn't expected that after gathering so many people, Ruxley would still dare to be so defiant. This was pure audacity.
"Since you're begging for death, I'll grant your wish today!" A menacing grin spread across Voragoshe's face.
With a wave of his right hand, he barked an order to the men behind him, "Go! Take this guy down for me!"
"Yes, sir!"
Voragoshe's men roared in unison and charged at Ruxley.
"Hmph, fools."
Fafnian looked at the oncoming group, his eyes flashing coldly. In an instant, he became a blur, darting into the crowd.
"Ah!"
A series of agonizing screams followed. Before Voragoshe's men could even catch sight of Fafnian's movements, they were all sent flying with a single kick each. They landed heavily on the pavement like broken kites and lay motionless, unable to rise again.
"What?!"
"How is this possible?"
Voragoshe's eyes widened in disbelief. His men were elite fighters, carefully trained by the Capet family, with each one possessing at least the strength of a fifth-level martial artist.
Yet, in just a few seconds, Fafnian had taken them all down.
It was terrifying.
As Fafnian slowly approached him, Voragoshe's face turned pale. His voice trembling with fear, he shouted, "Don't come any closer! I'm warning you, my cousin is Lole, the top female War God of the Saultrouge Kingdom! If you lay a hand on me, she'll never let you go!"
Hearing this, Fafnian paused and glanced back at Ruxley.
Ruxley flicked the ash from his cigarette and replied indifferently, "It's fine. Since he's Lole's cousin, I'll teach him how to behave properly."
With that, Fafnian wasted no time and lunged at Voragoshe.
Voragoshe's face twisted in fear. He hadn't expected Ruxley to still dare move against him, even after mentioning Lole.
Seeing Fafnian charging at him, Voragoshe turned and ran, desperately trying to escape.
But as an idle rich kid with no real skills, how could he possibly outrun Fafnian?
In a flash, Fafnian caught up to him and delivered a swift kick to Voragoshe's body.
With a miserable scream, Voragoshe flew through the air like a ragdoll before slamming into a nearby car and spitting out a mouthful of blood. He collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain.
Ignoring Voragoshe's cries, Fafnian grabbed him by the collar and dragged him over to Ruxley.
Ruxley slowly crouched down, blowing a puff of smoke into Voragoshe's face. He said in a calm, cold tone, "Mr. Capet, it seems that today I still won't get to see the consequences of offending you."
Voragoshe trembled all over, his bravado fading as he stammered, "W-What are you going to do? Aren't you afraid of my cousin? She's a War God!"
Fear filled Voragoshe's heart. In the past, just mentioning Lole's name would make anyone immediately back down and apologize to him.
But today, that didn't work on Ruxley at all.
"I'm ashamed for Lole to have a cousin like you."
Ruxley's playful smile disappeared, his voice turning icy. "I already spared you once back at the Imperial Boutique for Lole's sake, but I didn't expect you to come looking for trouble again."
"Since you haven't learned your lesson, I'll give you a proper education today!"
With that, Ruxley raised his right foot and stomped hard on Voragoshe's right arm.
Crack!
The sound of bones snapping filled the air, and Voragoshe's arm twisted into an unnatural shape.
"My arm!" Voragoshe wailed. Having been pampered all his life, he had never endured such pain. Tears and snot streamed down his face as he clutched his broken arm, howling in agony.
Ruxley looked down at him and coldly warned, "Remember, if I ever hear of you using Lole's name to cause trouble again, it won't just be one arm next time. I'll break all your limbs and leave you bedridden for life. Got it?"
His voice carried a chilling intent to kill.
Voragoshe's entire body trembled, consumed by fear. He had never felt death this close before.
This time, he didn't dare act tough anymore. Sobbing uncontrollably, he begged for mercy, "I-I understand! I won't… I won't do it again!"
Ruxley snorted in disdain and let go of Voragoshe's arm, walking back toward his car.
Opening the car door, he looked over his shoulder and said indifferently, "Oh, and if you're still unhappy and want revenge, you can find me anytime at Riverside Gardens in Shiphay City. I'll be waiting."
"But a word of advice—think carefully before you come. Next time, not even the fact that you're Lole's cousin will save you."
With that, Ruxley got into the car and drove off.
