Tigra's sudden intrusion plunged Noctis Group into chaos.
Every staff member, from security guards to front desk workers, was pale with fear, looking at Tigra as if he were a terrifying demon, sending chills down their spines.
The head of security, Damon Langster, stepped forward with a pale face, forcing a smile as he stammered, "Mr. Tigra, what brings you to our company?"
Noctis Group had never had any dealings with Tiger Hall, so Damon was at a loss as to why Tigra was here, and with such a large entourage. The hostile vibe made it clear they weren't here on friendly terms.
"Why am I here?"
Tigra grinned, the scar on his face twisting like a centipede, making his expression even more menacing.
He glanced around before looking down at Damon, his voice dripping with malice. "Your Noctis Group owes my brother five million for a project, and you've yet to pay up. Today, I'm here to collect that debt!"
What?
As Tigra's words dropped, the staff of Noctis Group all turned pale.
Just then, Sherise and her sister, Deja, having received the news, rushed downstairs.
Damon quickly went over to Sherise, explaining what Tigra had just said.
Sherise frowned and said to Tigra, "Sir, may I know which company you're from? Noctis Group has never owed anyone money, let alone a sum of five million. Are you sure you aren't mistaken?"
Noctis Group prided itself on its stellar credit reputation and had never defaulted on a single payment.
Tigra's grin widened as he took out a small knife, casually trimming his nails while speaking in a chilling voice, "Ms. Potter, I'm not mistaken. Your Noctis Group owes my brother five million. If you don't pay up today, your company can kiss its future goodbye."
Sherise's face darkened at his words.
Now, she understood that Tigra was deliberately stirring trouble, and the five million was just an excuse.
"Sir, I have no idea what you're talking about, but please leave immediately and stop disrupting our business operations," Sherise said coldly.
Tigra calmly put away his knife, sneering as he said, "Looks like you don't quite understand the situation. Well, let me help you out."
With that, he raised his hand.
Immediately, the two dozen black-clad men drew their bats and metal pipes, starting to smash everything in sight within Noctis Group.
"Stop it! What are you doing? Stop this at once!"
Sherise's face turned pale, her eyes wide with panic.
She couldn't believe how brazen Tigra and his men were, openly wrecking the company in broad daylight.
Beside her, Deja quickly pulled out her phone, secretly sending a message to Ruxley.
"This is bad, Ruxley! There's someone called Tigra leading a bunch of thugs to destroy my sister's company! Please come quickly!"
At that moment, the only person Deja could think of to help was Ruxley.
She trusted him inexplicably, convinced that if Ruxley intervened, Tigra and his men would be dealt with.
Ruxley, who was on his way back to Riverside Gardens, received Deja's message, and his face instantly darkened. Turning to Fafnian, he commanded coldly, "Turn the car around—head to Noctis Group!"
"Yes, sir!"
Fafnian immediately swung the car around, speeding toward the company.
Ruxley then called Arius. "Arius, there's someone called Tigra causing trouble at Noctis Group. Head over there right away!"
"Yes, my Lord! I'm on my way!" Arius replied without hesitation.
Meanwhile, the Noctis Group office was in shambles, a result of Tigra's men's rampage. Glass fragments were scattered everywhere, and chaos reigned.
Seeing the devastation, Sherise trembled with anger, wanting to step forward and confront Tigra, but Deja held her back firmly.
These men were clearly dangerous thugs, and facing them head-on would only spell trouble for Sherise.
Ruxley had said he was on his way. For now, it was best to let Tigra and his men have their moment. Once Ruxley arrived, they would have to face the consequences.
Tigra dragged a chair over, sitting down with his legs crossed as he sneered at Sherise. "So, Ms. Potter, do you remember that five million now?"
Sherise's face was icy, and she replied coldly, "Dream on! Everything that's happened today has been recorded, and I will make sure you pay for what you've done!"
"Haha, you think so?"
Tigra laughed uproariously, his scarred face full of disdain.
He had run rampant in Shiphay City's underworld for years, and no one had ever been able to touch him.
"Well, since you still don't understand, don't blame me for being rude, then!" Tigra said, a sinister smile spreading across his face.
He turned to one of his men, a burly guy in black, and said, "Wolfe, help Ms. Potter remember her debt!"
"Don't worry, boss! I'll make sure she remembers!"
Wolfe grinned evilly as he walked menacingly toward Sherise.
Wolfe was one of Tigra's most trusted subordinates. He was broad-shouldered and muscular, exuding a savage aura like a hungry wolf ready to devour.
The surrounding security guards were so terrified by Wolfe's ferocious demeanor that they instinctively stepped back, their faces pale with fear.
Only Damon, the head of security, had the courage to step forward and block Wolfe's path.
He drew his baton, pointing it at Wolfe as he said with a trembling voice, "I-I'm warning you not to act recklessly!"
Wolfe let out a contemptuous chuckle. "A mere ant dares to block my way? Get lost!"
With those words, a flash of cruelty passed through Wolfe's eyes as he threw a fierce punch at Damon.
Crack!
A crisp sound echoed as Damon's arm was broken by Wolfe's punch. His entire body flew backward like a ragdoll, slamming into a nearby desk and collapsing to the ground, unable to get up again.
"Damon!"
Sherise cried out in shock.
"Heh, come over here!"
Wolfe grinned evilly as he reached out to grab Sherise.
But just then, a black shadow appeared in front of Sherise as swift and silent as a ghost, gripping Wolfe's wrist tightly.
In the next moment—
A sharp sound of bones breaking rang out.
