The whole banquet hall went silent in a flash! Everyone was staring with wide eyes, shocked by Ruxley's sudden appearance, full of disbelief. "Whoa, who is this guy? He just slapped Mr. Fox in public. Does he have a death wish?" "Right? Everyone in Eastern City knows not to mess with Mr. Fox's temper. This guy actually hit him. He's definitely done for!" "Haha, this is going to be good!" "Sherise!" Sherise gasped, her eyes red as she stared at Ruxley who had appeared in front of her, unable to believe her eyes. She couldn't believe that Ruxley showed up right when she felt most desperate. Is this a dream? Tears finally spilled from Sherise's eyes. "Sorry, I'm late, Sherise. You've been through so much," Ruxley said, his eyes red as he looked at her, tears streaming down her face. He felt deeply for her. If Sherise hadn't saved him back then, he would have died on the streets. Sherise had changed his life! He could never repay her. He was just in time today; if Redlyn had hurt Sherise, he would never forgive himself. Redlyn, holding his cheek, pointed at Ruxley and cursed viciously, "You think you can hit me and live? I'll kill you myself today!" Redlyn then yelled at two bodyguards in black suits, "What are you waiting for? Kill this scumbag now!" "Yes, boss!" The guards, experts from the Fox family, rushed at Ruxley with their batons drawn. They looked fierce, like hungry wolves, sending chills down everyone's spine. As the guards charged, the crowd around Ruxley backed away, afraid of getting caught in the crossfire. "Sherise cried out, "Be careful!" Ruxley turned and smiled slightly, "Don't worry! They can't hurt me!" Just as the batons were about to hit him, Ruxley moved. He dodged the guards' attack and struck them with lightning-fast punches to their chests. The guards spat blood and flew back, crashing into a table with a loud bang. Silence fell over the room. With just one move, Ruxley took down both guards! Everyone in the hall was stunned. They couldn't believe Ruxley's strength. These were Redlyn's personal guards, feared throughout Eastern City for hurting many people. But today, they couldn't even touch him. It was unbelievable! Even Sherise was in shock, her hand over her mouth, as she stared at Ruxley. She hadn't seen him in three years, and he had become incredibly strong. Seeing Ruxley's tall and imposing figure, Sherise felt a sense of safety she had never felt before. As long as he was there, she feared nothing. Ignoring the crowd's shock, Ruxley slowly walked towards Redlyn, his eyes filled with deadly intent. Redlyn had hurt Carmelia and now wanted Sherise as his woman—a punishable offense. Today, he was going to make Redlyn wish he were dead. Seeing Ruxley approach, Redlyn turned pale and stammered, "Don't come any closer! You know I'm from the Fox family. They won't let you get away with this!" "Heh, really?" Ruxley smirked coldly, "Let's see what the Fox family can do to me." As he spoke, everyone gasped. Ruxley was really bold, not even considering the Fox family's power. "Stop!" Just as Ruxley was about to move on Redlyn, a handsome young man stepped forward. "Kid, you've got guts! Hitting Redlyn in front of me, do you want to die?" he said coldly. Seeing the young man, Redlyn cheered, "Slynard, you have to save me!" The young man, Slynard Dean, looked disdainfully at Ruxley, "Don't worry! With me here, nobody will touch you." "Slynard Dean?" The crowd was shocked again. "He's Slynard Dean from the Dean family in Shiphay City!" "It turns out Mr. Fox is connected to Mr. Dean!" "With Mr. Dean backing Mr. Fox, this guy is definitely doomed." the Dean family was a powerful family with a hundred-year history in Shiphay City. Ruxley, no matter how strong, couldn't compete with the Dean family. Hearing the murmurs, Slynard stood proudly, "Kid, since you're a good fighter, I'll give you a chance. Kneel and apologize to Mr. Fox, then work for me, and I'll let this go. Otherwise, you're done!" Slynard's tone was condescending, as if everyone was beneath him. Ruxley remained silent, considering his options. Sherise and her friend Deja looked pale, filled with despair. Slynard, noticing Ruxley's silence, frowned and snapped, "Didn't you hear me? Apologize to Redlyn now!" Ruxley glanced coldly at Slynard, "Who are you to order me around?" "How dare you talk to me like that!" Slynard yelled, furious. "You've angered me now! You will pay today!" "Just you?" Before Slynard could respond, a cold voice came from behind him. Slynard turned angrily, "Who dares to defy me? Come out!" At that moment, a dark figure appeared before Slynard and slapped him across the face. "Who dares to hit me?" Slynard was stunned, never imagining someone would dare to hit him in public in Eastern City. Furious, he got up and saw a young man in black standing respectfully by Ruxley and staring coldly at him. It was Ruxley's man, Arius Hawk!
