When Redlyn saw Slynard get slapped, he jumped out and pointed at Arius, yelling, "Kid, you dare to hit Mr. Dean? You're dead today!"
But before he could finish, he was kicked to the ground.
"Slynard, what are you doing?" Redlyn was baffled when he saw that Slynard was the one who kicked him. His face filled with confusion.
"Shut up!" Slynard glared at Redlyn furiously.
Redlyn turned pale and was utterly dumbfounded when he saw Slynard's murderous look.
He couldn't understand why Slynard, who had just been supporting him, suddenly changed his attitude.
What was going on?
However, the unbelievable was yet to come. Slynard quickly walked over to Arius, bowed, and said with a flattering smile, "Mr. Hawk, what brings you here?"
Arius looked at Slynard coldly and said, "Quite the nerve you have, expecting our boss to bow and apologize to you!"
Slynard went pale and hurriedly waved his hands, "It's a misunderstanding, Mr. Hawk! I didn't know this gentleman was your friend!"
At that moment, Slynard deeply regretted his actions. If he had known Ruxley was connected to Arius, he wouldn't have dared to support Redlyn, even if given a hundred more guts.
"Kneel down and apologize!" Arius's voice was stern.
"Mr. Hawk, I…" Slynard's face was a picture of misery.
"What? Should I do it myself?" Arius narrowed his eyes.
"No, no, Mr. Hawk, I was wrong! I'll apologize right now!" Slynard trembled and quickly knelt down, knocking his head on the floor in apology.
The entire banquet hall was shocked, their faces filled with disbelief. They couldn't imagine the high and mighty Slynard, now kneeling like a dog, apologizing to someone else.
"Slynard…" Not only the crowd, but Redlyn was also stunned. He watched Slynard continually apologize to Arius, shaking all over.
Slynard was a secondary heir of the Dean family from Shiphay City, a core member of his family. His status was far beyond Redlyn's.
Yet now, this prestigious young master was forced to kneel and apologize. Who exactly was this young man?
At that moment, Redlyn looked at Arius with deep fear in his eyes.
Arius looked down at the kneeling Slynard and said coldly, "You got it wrong! I didn't ask for an apology for myself, but for our boss."
"Yes, yes, sir, I'm sorry. I was wrong to underestimate you. Please be generous and forgive my mistake!" Slynard quickly turned and apologized to Ruxley, ignoring the stares from the crowd.
People like Redlyn didn't understand Arius's status, but Slynard knew all too well. Arius was a minister in the Blood Moon Club, one of the top figures in Sheyton Province. Even Slynard's father, the current head of the Dean family, would have to respectfully greet Arius, let alone him.
If Fenflare, Slynard's father, found out he had offended Arius, he would undoubtedly kick him out of the Dean family to apologize to Arius.
"Boss, how should we handle him?" Arius respectfully asked Ruxley.
Ruxley glanced at the trembling Slynard, his expression cold. "You handle it. He's not worth my time."
Turning to Redlyn, Ruxley smirked, "Looks like your backup's gone. Seems like no one can save you now!"
Redlyn, pale, looked at Ruxley in terror, "Don't come any closer! Let's talk this out. I have money, I can give you a lot of money! How about ten million? That's enough for you to live on for life!"
"Ten million?" Ruxley scoffed, his eyes glinting coldly, "Keep it for your coffin."
With that, Ruxley kicked out, breaking Redlyn's right leg.
"Ah! My leg!" Redlyn screamed in agony, collapsing on the floor.
"Ruxley, don't be rash!" Sherise ran over to stop him, but Ruxley was relentless, stomping on Redlyn until he was completely crippled.
"It's all over!" Sherise turned pale as she looked at the bloody Redlyn, utterly shocked.
Although she hated Redlyn, she never wanted to harm him because he was the sole heir to the Fox family. If anything happened to him, the Fox family would never let it go.
Ruxley gently patted Sherise's shoulder, reassuringly, "Don't worry! I'm here, nothing will happen."
He was the Lord of Shura Palace, the most influential person in the battlefield of death. What was the Fox family in comparison?
"Sis, Redlyn is the only heir to the Fox family. If something happens to him, they won't let us off. We should leave now!" Deja, pale, urged Sherise.
She had seen many people secretly calling the Fox family. Soon, their people would arrive, making escape difficult.
Realizing the gravity, Sherise grabbed Ruxley's arm, desperate, "Deja's right, Ruxley, we need to leave now! Leave Eastern City and never come back!"
Just as Ruxley was about to reassure Sherise, a roar came from outside the hall.
"Leave? No one's leaving today!"
Dozens of burly men stormed in, surrounding Ruxley and the Sherise sisters.
Then, a bald man with a sinister look strode in from the doorway.
When Redlyn, lying on the ground, saw the bald man, he struggled to call out for help, "Uncle, save me... please save me!"
This bald man was none other than Redlyn's uncle, Lennart Fox from the Fox family!
