Slynard saw the shocked expressions on everyone's faces, and a bitter smile appeared on his lips.
From the moment Arius made his move, he had already predicted this outcome.
After all, Arius was the head of the Blood Moon Club, a super-powerful figure renowned in the underworld of the Sheyton Province.
A mere sixth-grade martial artist dared to act arrogantly in front of Arius. He truly didn't know the meaning of the word "death!"
"This… how is this possible? Mr. Hodge was actually defeated by this kid!"
Lennart was completely stunned, his face full of disbelief. He had originally thought that with Yandel stepping in, Arius would be easily dealt with. However, unexpectedly, Yandel was defeated. Moreover, he lost so miserably, unable to even withstand a single move from Arius. This was simply unbelievable.
At this moment, Yandel was also in shock. He forced himself to stand, looking at Arius with terror in his eyes, and stammered, "How… how can your strength be this powerful? Who… who exactly are you?"
"Who am I?"
Arius looked down at Yandel from above and coldly said, "I'm someone you'll never be able to provoke!"
Arius' words were like a heavy hammer, fiercely striking Yandel's chest.
Yandel felt his vision go black, and he couldn't help but spit out another mouthful of blood before completely losing consciousness.
After dealing with Yandel, Arius turned his gaze directly to Lennart. A cold smile appeared on his lips as his figure flickered, and he charged straight at Lennart.
"Stop him! Stop him now!"
Seeing Arius rushing toward him, Lennart's face changed drastically, and he hurriedly ordered his men to intercept Arius. But it was useless.
Arius' speed was incredibly fast. In almost an instant, he broke through Lennart's men and appeared beside Lennart, grabbing his throat.
"Let… let go of me!"
Lennart's face turned bright red as he struggled desperately, trying to break free from Arius' grasp. However, Arius' hand was like an iron clamp, tightly gripping his throat. No matter how he struggled, he couldn't escape.
"Hmph, a mere Fox family dares to offend our Lord. You're courting death!"
A cold light flashed in Arius' eyes as he punched Lennart in the stomach.
"Ugh!"
Lennart's eyes widened in shock, his body curling up like a shrimp, nearly passing out.
Arius dragged Lennart to Ruxley, throwing him to the ground before respectfully asking, "Lord, how should we deal with this guy? Should we just kill him?"
The people in the banquet hall, who had just seen Arius being invincible like a god of war, were now stunned to the extreme. They couldn't believe their eyes as they saw Arius standing respectfully in front of Ruxley, like a servant.
Especially Slynard, who knew Arius' identity. His eyes were as wide as a bull's, too shocked to know what to say.
Earlier, when he saw Arius stepping out to back up Ruxley, he thought Arius was a friend of Ruxley. But now, it seemed that wasn't the case at all.
Who exactly was Ruxley? Even someone as powerful as Arius treated him with such respect.
Could he be the young master of a hidden noble family from the capital?
The thought made Slynard's body tremble, and a strong sense of fear rose in his heart.
Luckily, he had only mouthed off earlier and hadn't actually taken action against Ruxley. Otherwise, he might already be a corpse by now.
"Damn it!"
Clutching his stomach in pain, Lennart lay on the ground, staring at Ruxley with resentment in his eyes.
If he had known that Ruxley's subordinate was this powerful, he would have brought more experts with him today.
Ruxley noticed the unwillingness in Lennart's eyes and sneered, "What's wrong? Not convinced?"
Lennart glared at Ruxley, gritting his teeth, and said, "If you have the guts, let me go! I'll show you just how powerful the Fox family is!"
"Oh, really?"
Ruxley's lips curled into a playful smile as he said, "Since you're not convinced, I'll give you a chance. Go back and tell your brother that if he wants to save Redlyn, he should come to me in person. And make sure he brings plenty of people—I'll be waiting for you!"
What?
Hearing Ruxley's words, Lennart was stunned. He couldn't believe that Ruxley actually dared to let him go! Wasn't Ruxley afraid of the Fox family's retaliation?
Not only was Lennart shocked, but everyone around him was equally astonished. This was the first time they had seen someone dare to provoke the Fox family like this! It was insanely bold.
"Sherise, let's go."
Ignoring the shocked crowd, Ruxley had Arius carry the unconscious Redlyn, and together with Sherise and her sister, they left the banquet hall.
After Ruxley and his group had left, Lennart's subordinates quickly helped him up and anxiously asked, "Mr. Fox, what should we do now? Are we just going to let them take the young master away?"
Redlyn was the Fox family's only heir. If anything happened to Redlyn, the Fox family would be doomed.
"What else can we do? Do you think you can rescue Redlyn from them?"
Lennart glared fiercely at the subordinate, his face dark with anger.
"Kid, just wait! I'll make sure you pay a heavy price for what you did today!"
Lennart clenched his fists tightly, glaring in the direction where Ruxley had left, his eyes filled with cold fury.
Today, his reputation had been utterly destroyed. If he didn't regain his honor, he would have no face left to continue living in Eastern City.
"Let's go back to the Fox family, quickly!"
Lennart ordered coldly, immediately leading his men back to the Fox family estate.
This matter was no longer something he could handle on his own. He needed to go back and discuss the next steps with his brother.
...
After leaving the hotel, Sherise finally snapped out of her shock.
Remembering that her mother was still in Redlyn's hands, she anxiously said to Ruxley, "Ruxley, my mother was kidnapped by Redlyn. Hurry and ask him where she is! I need to save her!"
Ruxley looked at Sherise's anxious expression and smiled slightly. "Don't worry. An hour ago, I had someone rescue your mother. She's currently being treated at Donghae Bluesky Hospital, and she's fine now."
"Really? That's wonderful!"
Hearing Ruxley's words, Sherise was so overjoyed that she covered her mouth, unable to hold back her emotions any longer. She threw herself into Ruxley's arms and burst into tears.
During this time, she had been constantly worried about her mother's safety, fearing that the beast Redlyn would harm her.
Now that her mother had been rescued, the emotions she had been suppressing finally erupted.
"It's alright now, it's alright."
Ruxley gently patted Sherise's shoulder, comforting her softly, his eyes full of tenderness.
It was all his fault. If he had returned a few days earlier, Sherise wouldn't have had to suffer so much.
After crying in Ruxley's arms for a while, Sherise finally calmed down.
Her face flushed with embarrassment. She pulled away from Ruxley's embrace, lowering her head as she said, "Ruxley, thank you! If it weren't for you today, I really wouldn't know what to do!"
Looking at Sherise's shy expression, a hint of affection flashed in Ruxley's eyes. Smiling, he said, "There's no need for thanks between us. Come on, I'll accompany you to the hospital to see your mother."
"Okay!"
Sherise quickly nodded, following Ruxley as they headed to Donghae Bluesky Hospital.
