May rediscovered a comfortable posture and finally fell asleep again.
...
Harry watched the scene in front of him. The man who kept away from all women now was holding a woman in his arms tenderly.
If he had not seen it with his own eyes, he would have thought it impossible!
"Joseph, I'm going to give this lady an injection."
Harry waved the needle in front of the man's eyes, only to see his face sank.
"She has a fever. This is the fastest way to recover!"
Harry didn't dare shake the needle anymore, explaining innocently.
It was just a needle, not a big deal!
Joseph's protective posture seemed that as long as he dared to hurt the woman in his arms, he would let himself not see the sun of tomorrow!
Joseph slightly released the woman and let Harry do it quickly.
Joseph felt the woman's body stiffen for a moment after the needle was inserted into the flesh, and his lips pressed tightly together.
The air pressure in the bedroom suddenly dropped.
Harry's back was wet with cold sweat. After he had finished the injection and enjoined a series of things, he quickly packed his things and fled the apartment.
Just out of the apartment, he took out his phone and sent the photo of May and Joseph to his WeChat group with his friends.
As soon as the photo came out, all friends who hadn't talked for a long time came out.
Robert: "Oh my God, is this the woman Joseph has a crush on? !"
Harry: "I guess so. When I gave the woman an injection, Joseph's eyes could not wait to kill me!"
Robert: "Wow!! Do you have a clear picture of her?"
Rain: "How dare he, but... I think Miss Song looks a little familiar..."
...
Harry thought she looked familiar, too, but he couldn't think of anything. He put the phone away, glanced at the front door of Joseph's apartment, and left.
In the bedroom, Joseph looked down at the woman in his arms who only approached herself when she was unconscious. He smiled dumbly.
He thought these two years enough for him to forget her, but now after he came back, he was still infatuated with her. Or he had come back with a purpose.
His eyes dimmed, not only holding her in such a simple way when she was looking for the key to his house in her trouser pocket, or earlier, when she accidentally kissed him, his body had reacted.
Joseph looked down, his eyes full of love and desire, but he only kissed May gently on her forehead and whispered, "I won't let you go this time."
...
When she woke up the next day, May was unresponsive.
She opened her eyes and saw an unfamiliar ceiling.
In the middle of the ceiling was a huge crystal chandelier with a complicated retro pattern, not the one in her room.
The bed was soft and the surroundings.
She turned her head and saw the tidy arrangement of the bedroom.
As her consciousness began to clear, May sat up suddenly.
She felt dizzy because she had risen so violently. It took her some time to recover from her dizziness.
This was not her bedroom.
Did she leave yesterday?
May was shocked and quickly pulled the quilt to get out of bed, but saw herself wearing a strange set of pajamas, and the skirt she wore yesterday was gone.
Boom! May was petrified.
An older woman over fifty unscrewed the handle of the door and came in.
Seeing May waking up, she was relieved and put a set of clothes next to her neatly, "Miss Song, I'm Aunt Zhang, the nanny of the house. You had a fever last night, so Mr. Huo let me take care of you. This is your clothes."
May stammered, pointing to the pajamas, "My clothes..."
