Chapter 47 Rude

One the man swung his fist hardly to Levi Song’s face. His nose hurt so badly and his body fell back two meters away. His cheek throbbed with pain. He spat and was about to fight back, but the man kicked him again and stepped on his shoulder. The man grabbed his hair and smashed him to the ground. “Who are you?!” Belle Ye stood up and rushed over. She almost unconsciously opened her arms blocking the men from Levi Song, “I will call the police you hit him again!” They stopped moving. Even Levi Song himself couldn’t believe it. The woman in front of him was thin and weak, but she looked strong and powerful when she opened her arms. It seemed that if those men came up at him again, she would unswervingly protect him. Protect, huh? It was the first time he thought about that word. The men in black suit barged inside. Suddenly, they heard a commotion outside. The men suddenly made a way. Barry Mo came in. Belle Ye knees weakened. She almost fell down. “Miss Ye.” Barry Mo greeted her coldly. His eyes and tone were all cold, just like Ethan Mo. He grew up with Ethan Mo. Ethan Mo had a great influence on him. Sometimes, Belle Ye felt that Barry Mo was Ethan Mo’s shadow. She lowered her arms and looked at Levi Song. He didn’t know what’s going on. “Don’t go.” Levi Song got up and dragged her behind him. He confronted Barry Mo, “You’re a little dog raised by Ethan Mo, aren’t you? You dare making a commotion in my place. Does he not teach you what sensible is?” Levi Song was confronting Barry Mo. Belle Ye’s heart sank. The last thing she wanted to happen was to drag him into the dirty water. No way! She couldn’t hurt Levi Song. “Barry Mo, I’ll go back with you.” Belle Ye broke her hands off Levi Song. “You’re not allowed to go back.” Levi Song was so angry that his nerves twitched. Now, he knew Belle Ye didn’t come with him not because she didn’t want to, but because she couldn’t. Perhaps, she was afraid that she might offend Ethan Mo. perhaps, there was something between them that he didn’t know. But, one thing for sure, he didn’t want these men to take Belle Ye away. Especially after she stood to protect him, he felt like he should protect her more. It was impossible for him to let her be taken away. Barry Mo stepped forward and firmly clasped Belle Ye’s arm. Then, he pulled her out. The wound that had been bandaged and covered with medicine cracked again. Blood came out of her wound. She was wearing a dark colored clothes, but Levi Song could still smell the blood. “What are you doing? Let her go!” Levi Song angrily rushed up and dragged her back. He was furious. Were they trying to kill her? He caught one of her arm, but he dared not pull her back. He stared at Barry Mo disdainfully, “Let her go.” “Mr. Song, I’m sorry but we cannot hand over this woman to you.” Barry Mo didn’t want to offend the Song family. He pointed to Belle Ye, “She belongs to our boss. If Mr. Song has any dissatisfaction, you can reach out to our boss anytime.” “Cut the crap! Since when does she belong to your boss? Don’t talk nonsense.” Levi Song was so angry that he couldn’t believe Belle Ye’s life and death was in the hand of Ethan Mo. he must take her away, even if she didn’t agree. The situation was tense. Barry Mo brought at least six or seven bodyguards, but Levi Song… Belle Ye gritted her teeth. Her eyes flashed with pain. She hated Ethan Mo so much. “Belle…” “Mr. Song, let go.” She put on a cold and tough front. She shrugged his hand off her without hesitation. She stepped back and said, “I’m not a little girl. I’m really fed up with your kindness!” The corner of her eyes flashed with disgust and intolerance. Levi Song was stunned. His face was both flustered and overwhelmed, “Belle, I didn’t mean to tell you what to do.” “Leave me alone. I can take care of myself. Don’t come looking for me again.” She raised her chin while looking at him with disdain. It gave him the impression that this Belle Ye was not the same person as the Belle Ye who stood up for him just now. “Belle, are you afraid of them? Believe me, I can help you leave the underground city club. I can help you break Ethan Mo’s control.” “Who said I want to escape?” she smiled, “What’s wrong with that place? I can get drunk every time I want. It’s crazy.” “You—” Belle Ye stopped talking. She was afraid to say something more. Finally, she could only shed tears. Her heart was like being cut open with a knife. It bled and the pain suffocated her. Barry Mo took her away. Her face was cold and gloomy, so was her heart. This woman was as arrogant and ruthless as ever, even more than five years ago. That young master Song must be blinded. Belle Ye was dragged out of the room. If Barry Mo was attentive, he could spot blood stains on the ground where she passed. Barry Mo’s hatred toward Belle Ye was just as big as Ethan Mo’s. This time, he just wanted to take her back and locked her up, but he still needed to do some other things. Levi Song stood at the doorway for a long time without moving. His brain was buzzing. He hadn’t yet returned to his senses. He didn’t know whether what Belle Ye said just now was true or false. If it was true… did he really control her that much? But, again, she was right. They had nothing to do with each other. Why did her choice and life matter to him? If she decided to stay at the nightclub without caring about her reputation, what did he have to worry about her? Under the dark of the night, a Mercedes Maybach rushed over to her direction. The strong wind brushed over her. The car made a screeching sound when it hit the brake. The car stopped and someone came out. She could vaguely see the man under the moonlight. She took a deep breath and realized that it was Ethan Mo. Ethan Mo blended with the darkness. His expression was unreal. He set his sharp eyes on her for a moment and Belle Ye felt the cold from the distance. Barry Mo nodded and stuffed her into the car.
