Friday finally came. Today the new president would hold a managers’ meeting, making all the employees excited.
During these days, the employees in Duncan Electronics had deified the new president.
Some thought the new president was the rich from other provinces, while others said he was from one of the top families in Jol City.
Even some people guessed that he was the second generation of an influential family in Capital, who acquired this company here to practice.
So, what was the new president’s real identity?
No one in the company knew this except for Joel Shawn and his secretary.
When it was still about one hour before the meeting, Milne Fan began to dress up. He made himself look younger and spirited.
Milne must make an excellent impression on the new president to confidently be in Joel’s face and stand firm in this position, manager of the sales department.
He had to get the new president’s trust as soon as possible, or he would be replaced by Jayne Lin.
“Supervisor Lin, it’s about to begin. The new president should come now. Let’s go.” Milne looked at Jayne, who was sitting not far away from him in the office.
“OK.” Jayne nodded, standing up to follow him.
Jayne also felt curious about the new president. She hoped the new president to be reasonable to cancel this impossible task.
When they went out of the office, they saw Chase Lu stepped out of the elevator.
Jayne had already known that Chase indeed hadn’t be fired.
Now, she was busy, so she didn’t speak to Chase.
But Milne stopped.
He had so much hatred of Finn, and today, finally, he had the change to revenge.
“What?” Chase was stopped.
“Boy, you’re still so arrogant.” Milne stared at Chase.
Chase shrugged. He knew what Milne intended to do, but he had no interest in dealing with such a powerless opponent.
“Do you know what will happen today?” Milne sneered.
“What?” Chase asked.
“Today, the new president comes, which means Joel Shawn is not the dominator anymore. I wait to see who can be your protector in the future.” Milne laughed.
“Oh, and then?” Chase felt funny.
“And then, it’s time for me to revenge. You, such a useless coward, even made me apologize in public. What a shame it was! Since you dared to accept my apology, you’d better prepare to accept my revenge.” Milne looked crazy.
Chase felt Milne a fool. He pushed Milne away and then left.
“Humph, you’d better continue to be such arrogant later. I’m going to get the new president’s trust soon.” Milne felt enraged.
Chase turned around and looked at Milne.
He smiled.
Chase found it the funniest joke he had ever heard.
Milne Fan said he wanted to get the new president’s trust, didn’t he?
“Oh, then I hope you can do it.” Chase laughed.
“Chase Lu, since you come here, why not check in?” At this moment, the security department supervisor, Hale Yu, went upstairs to attend the meeting.
Chase was still a security guard. Though he had acquired the company, he didn’t move his position, and he was still a part of the security department.
“What, do you want to fire me again?” Chase sneered.
“Boy, don’t be so rampant. I’ll tell the new president about this matter later.” Hale humphed.
“OK, I’ll give you the chance to speak,” Chase said.
“Humph, we shall see.” Hale didn’t understand Chase’s meaning. He went to the meeting room with Milne.
“Manager Fan, do you think Mr. Shawn will hate us if we tell the new president about that matter?” Hale looked worried.
Though Joel was not the company’s dominator anymore, he was one of the biggest shareholders, so it would be easy for him to deal with Hale.
“No. Mr. Shawn will support you because he has to distance himself from Chase.” Milne shook his head.
Milne’s word made Hale comfortable. Reminded of something, Hale said. “By the way, Mr. Shawn had investigated the rumor yesterday. Once he finds it was from us, he will be bound to fire us.”
Milne Fan frowned. “This matter is indeed hard to deal with. You try to find some evidence of their affair. Even if Joel turns against us, the new president will protect us with the evidence and my ability.” Milne said with confidence.
Hale nodded but was still worried.
Coming into the meeting room, they found almost all the managers were already here.
It was 20 minutes before the meeting.
Milne and Hale sat on their position, with the same expectation as others.
“Manager Fan, do you know who the new president is?” A female manager beside Milne asked.
“The new president must come from a huge company or a rich family.” Milne didn’t speak, but a male manager answered first.
“I haven’t asked you. You have no right to know such much critical information.” The female manager said.
The male manager smiled, and then looked at Milne with expectation, as well.
Though Milne was a manager, he had a lot of connections with customers, so he was at a unique position in the company.
“You’re going to know it soon.” Milne looked unfathomable.
The two felt disappointed.
Then they waited for the new president quietly.
“He’s coming!” Suddenly, a manager sat beside the door whispered.
People all looked at the door.
Joel Shawn came in with a young man.
