Just as Milne Fan’s heart was filled with excitement, Wall Wang asked. “Where’s supervisor Lin?”
Milne thought Wall just casually mention it, so he replied. “Jayne Lin is ill and asked for a leave today, so I’m in charge now.”
“Ill? Well, let’s talk after she recovers.” Then Wall stood up and left.
Milne and Inge Liu were stunned. They hurriedly followed. “Mr. Wang, it doesn’t matter whether Jayne Lin is here or not. I’m her manager, so I’m more capable than she. My assistant Inge is also outstanding. We’ll make you satisfy...”
“Hello, Mr. Wang.” Under Milne’s sign, Inge softly greeted Wall.
Her voice was so soft, and her eyes were attractive, with a seductive expression.
Looking at Inge, Wall nodded to reply.
“At least ten companies are competing with you, all of which are ranked as the top twenty electronic companies. I cooperate with you for the sake of improving the local companies. Since you don’t have the sincerity, I’ll think of another company.” Then Wall pulled the door and left, leaving no chance for Milne to explain more.
Milne was stunned. He thought Wall wouldn’t care about such an unimportant thing, but he had never expected Wall’s attitude was so firm.
Thinking of another company?
Wall was thinking of break the contract.
If the contract was broken, not to mention Joel Shawn, the new president would give him a heavy punishment.
Milne Fan felt anxious.
“Manager Milne, Mr. Wang seemed unwilling to talk with us, so what should we do now?” Inge Liu was anxious, too.
Milne Fan didn’t answer. He also didn’t know what he should do.
“Manager Milne, if they break the contract, both Mr. Shawn and the new president will be furious...” Inge worried.
“So, what’s your idea?” Milne was uptight. The contract’s break would be a sign of the ruin of his career.
“Manager Milne, Jayne must trade this contract with her body, so Mr. Wang can’t accept others to be in charge. Now, it’s only Jayne Lin who can save the contract.” Inge said with reluctance.
Milne also knew it, but he was reluctant.
Josh Group was an important customer, which could offer much more business later, so he was quite reluctant to give up.
But it seemed that he had to compromise.
“Well, I’ll call Jayne now.” Finally, Milne made his mind in such a dilemma.
He took out the mobile phone and called Jayne.
“Supervisor Lin, do you feel better?” Milne took a deep breath and then asked.
“What’s wrong?” Jayne’s voice was calm.
“Mr. Wang asked you to be in charge, so if you feel better, call Mr. Wang and appoint a time to discuss.” Milne gritted his teeth.
Lying on the sofa to watch the TV, Jayne didn’t doubt Chase’s words last night anymore.
As she was about to agree, she remembered the words Chase had said before he left.
“Ah? I...I’ve taken medicine just now. I’m taking a rest at home, so can we talk this later?” Jayne refused.
“Where is your home? I’m going to visit you.” Milne proposed with a complaint about Jayne’s poor performance in his mind.
“I just need to take a rest for two days. Besides, my husband doesn’t like you, you know. I’m afraid that he can’t help throwing you out, which will be embarrassed.” Jayne refused.
Milne was going to continue, but he found the phone had been hung up.
“Bitch! She must be deliberate. How can Josh Group continue to operate with us two days later? Milne shouted.
“She must pretend to be ill. She looked good yesterday but is suddenly ill today. Obviously, she wants to take revenge on you. But if the contract is broken, she will lose a big bonus, too. You can call her again with a tough attitude. She must be more anxious than you.” Inge sneered.
“Well, good idea.” Milne nodded and then called Jayne again.
“Supervisor Lin, Mr. Wang said he would break the contract. If you don’t save it right now, your bonus will be gone, as well. You see it.” Milne threatened.
Jayne frowned. Chase said that it would no problem to delay several days, but what if Mr. Wang really broke the contract?
When it happened, she would lose a big bonus.
Jayne finally compromised.
Compared with believing in Chase, it was more reliable to get the bonus first.
“I see. I’ll call Mr. Wang right now.” Jayne snorted.
Then she hung up. Seeing the phone was hung up again, Milne couldn’t help cursing. “Bitch, don’t be complacent. I swear I’ll drive you and your husband out of the company one day.”
...
Chase Lu didn’t go to the company. He had given his car to Jayne yesterday, so he intended to buy another today.
It was convenient to take the car; at least he didn’t need to wait for the taxi.
As he came to the car shop by taxi, a group of saleswomen came over.
“Mr. Lu, you’re here to buy cars again. Do you need to send a car to your friend as a gift?”
“It’s normal for a successful man like Mr. Lu to send a car as a gift.”
“Mr. Lu, which car do you prefer today?”
Those saleswomen surrounded Chase and chattered, with flattering expressions, as if they were quite familiar with Chase.
But Chase Lu pushed them away and went to the trainee who was too shy to talk to him.
