Chase Lu knew about the high position of his family in Capital. It was one of the top five. He couldn't believe his father would announce that Lu's Family was dissolved.
What kind of accident would make his father make such a decision?
"Master said he has to leave Capital and asks you not to return to there again, but just stay here." John Lu said.
"Though he has to leave, he has no need to dissolve our family." Chase stared at John with worry.
"I don't know his meaning. Master asked you not to tell anybody about Lu's Family." John shook his head.
"Uncle John, please tell me what really happened!" Chase shouted.
"Young Master, I really don't know. Master also asked me to dissolve Josh Group." John smiled bitterly.
"When did he say that?" Chase asked.
"It was last night," John answered.
Chase frowned, hurriedly taking his phone to call his father, Terence Lu.
But no one answered, making Chase more anxious.
"Do as my father said." Chase took the card and then left the Josh Hotel.
Then he intended to order an air ticket to Capital, but the ticket for tonight was sold out, so he couldn't arrange the time tomorrow morning.
He should go back to have a look.
Jayne Lin had called Finn to ask him to pick up Cassie because Jayne would have a dine together with her colleagues.
Jayne went back at 11 P.M.
Chase was already asleep, but Jayne woke him up when she got on the bed.
Chase could smell the wine even if Jayne had already taken a bath.
They had slept in a different room all these days, so Chase didn't know why Jayne suddenly wanted to sleep with him.
Did she also want to have sex? Chase smiled.
Jayne seemed to understand his funny thought. "Cassie is asleep, so I can't wake her up. Don't think too much."
Chase was embarrassed. He turned his body to the other side and then continue to sleep.
"I have a piece of good news. I'm promoted to be the supervisor!" Jayne touched Chase and said.
"Oh, congratulations," Chase replied without feelings.
"Hey, how can you congratulate me like that?" Jayne was unhappy. What an indifferent attitude Finn had.
"So, how should I congratulate?" Chase turned to look at Jayne with a smile.
"Humph, the supervisor is happy today, so she is going to reward you." Jayne blinked and then straddled Chase.
They had a passionate kiss, then Chase pulled Jayne down from his body. "OK, let's sleep. I'm tired today."
"What do you mean?" They had no sex for more than ten days, and Jayne had drunk much, so it was just the time for Jayne's high appetency.
"Ah, I'm really tired," Chase explained.
"You're tired, so you don't care about my feelings, right?" Jayne got angry.
Chase frowned. "I don't have a mood to do that today."
Jayne stared at Chase. "Chase Lu, be honest. Do you also doubt the reason for my promotion?"
Chase was speechless. It was just Chase who promoted Jayne, so he would definitely not doubt Jayne.
"You don't speak, so you acknowledge that?" Jayne questioned.
"You've thought too much," Chase explained.
"Too much? OK, give me an excuse to stop my thinking." Jayne said with anger.
"I said, I don't feel well today. Oh, I'm going to go back to Capital tomorrow, so remember to pick up Cassie in time." Chase said.
"What are you going to do in Capital?" Jayne was confused.
"I'm from Capital. I haven't been back for many years, so I have to go back once." Chase said.
"Did something happen to your family?" Jayne's attitude softened.
"No, I just haven't seen my father for too long, so I want to see him," Chase explained calmly.
Under such an unknown situation, Chase couldn't tell Maura his identity. At least before he got clear about his father's actions, he couldn't let anyone know about it.
"Take Cassie and me together. I haven't visited your families yet." Jayne said.
Chase hesitated and then refused. "I've already bought the ticket, so next time."
He even didn't know if he could find his father this time, so he definitely couldn't make Jayne and Cassie in danger.
"Chase, do you think Cassie and I have no right to see your families?" Jayne thought it an excuse.
"Never. Take it easy. I'll tell you about my identity one day." Chase comforted Jayne.
"Your identity? What's wrong with your identity?" Jayne stared at Chase.
"Alright, don't find so many excuses. It's your problem whether you let Cassie know your families, not mine." Jayne felt annoyed by Chase's silence.
She could feel that Chase covered many things.
Chase had no word to explain. He turned out the light and went to sleep.
The next morning, Chase arrived at Capital.
Since he hadn't been here for many years, he felt strange about this busy city.
Chase took a taxi to Lu's villa. It was desolate.
Nobody was there.
Chase felt more anxious, pushing the gate and then going in.
As he went by a rockery, he suddenly stopped.
Behind the rockery came an elderly man with all-white hair.
"Master Yun!" Chase was surprised, and quickly went to him.
