At 6:40 P.M, Old Lady Mo came to find Chase with Helen and Kenny.
For Helen's alertness, Chase wore a mask and glasses. Unless he put them off, nobody would recognize him.
Grandmother's weathered face lined in pain, and the wrinkles secretly came out from her face. The sense reviving in Chase's mind that grandma protected and take care of him made Chase feel complicated.
The negotiation was tough because Chase's grandma kept doubting Chase's intention. Besides, she also didn't want Helen to be the president, for she thought girls were bound to marry someone, and the industries would follow her to others' families.
Helen promised to marry a man who could agree to be adopted by Mo's family, making the old lady agreed.
Helen was so stubborn to be the president. Even she was willing to give up her happiness.
Such kind of woman was sure to be an able woman.
Kenny kept a sullen face all the time because Chase said in the meeting that Kenny was a useless good-for-nothing who would squander Mo's fortune.
And what made him more depressed was that the old lady didn't speak for him.
"You are named Lu, so you know my son-in-law, Terence Lu?" Suddenly, the old lady stared at Chase Lu.
"Yes, I'm ordered to help you. But I can't tell you about my identity now. I need an appropriate time." Chase nodded.
"What time?" The old lady asked.
"You may have guessed why Lu's family dissolved. With the danger Lu's family is encountering now, it's not safe for you to know my identity." Chase explained.
The old lady was stunned. She could guess why Terence announced to dissolved Lu's family. He must have met great troubles.
"Alright, I agree with the appointment of Helen, but a premise is also needed. If she can't do it well, she needs to give the position to others." The old lady emphasized.
"OK, though I want to help you, the money I've invested is still much enough. I don't want to see my money be waste." Chase agreed.
"Grandma, Mr. Lu, I won't let you down," Helen promised with determination.
"So, let's make the contract." The old lady proposed.
Chase signaled the lawyer to give the contract to the old lady.
The old lady studied it carefully. The contract was clear, and with nothing harmful to Mo's family on it.
Chase wouldn't dispute Helen's decision and participate in the development plans. Unless it was needed, he would never use the shareholder's power, but just take the shares.
Finally, the old lady signed the contract, and under Chase's request, Helen signed, as well.
Chase promised the money would be sent tonight, making the old lady pleasant.
The old lady intended to invite Chase for dinner, but Chase refused.
He was afraid of being recognized if he put off the mask.
In the car, when Mo's families went back, the old lady asked Helen. "Helen, please tell me the truth. You know him, right?"
"Well, but he doesn't allow me to tell his identity to anyone. I think he is right. It might be followed by disaster if somebody knows he has helped us." Helen nodded.
"Alright, how old is he? I guess he must be in his twenties." The old lady asked.
"Yes," Helen answered.
"Horry Lu seems to be a nickname, too." The old lady pondered.
Helen smiled. Of course, it was.
"Helen, does he like you? He may help us because of you." The old lady said.
"Grandma, what are you talking about?" Helen was blushed. It was her cousin, so how could he fall in love with her.
"I think he is good. He's your uncle Terence's man. Since your uncle sends him here, he should be well trusted by your uncle. Is he your uncle's adopted son?" The old lady guessed.
Helen knew the old lady's meaning.
Uncle Terence was quite rich, so her grandmother wanted her to marry a person from Lu's family so that Mo's family would easily get Lu's help.
But It was her cousin, Chase Lu.
After Chase sent the money to Mo's family, he left the next morning.
As he arrived at Jol City, he didn't feel better but feel more anxious because of his father's disappearance.
Chase went to find John first.
"Uncle John, where do you want to go when you finish the affairs here?" Chase asked John Lu.
"Perhaps I'm going to travel abroad and never come back until Master needs me," John answered. Actually, he wanted to stay and help Chase, but he was from the real Lu's family, as well. So his company with Chase would bring dangers to Chase.
"It's a good idea. You have to take a rest after such a long time's hard work. Oh, do you think it feasible for me to develop the chips?" Chase asked. John was a business genius. Since Chase was ready to start his own business, he had to consult John first.
Few companies in Country C did well in developing chips. Almost all the chips in reputable electronic companies were imported from other counties.
"It's a good idea to develop chips, but we need scientific experts." John was surprised.
"That's just the problem. We lack the experts who can develop chips. That's why we can't make chips ourselves. Under the political limitations of other countries, the skills to develop chips also can't be gotten into our country. But I heard the Tang Electronics in province T is in a loss, so I want to acquire it." John suggested.
"It's difficult to acquire it without Lu's family's power," Chase said.
"Well, I can use its power just a little, and they can't realize it. But it's easier to buy their core skills." John nodded.
The family they said was the real Lu's Family.
"Good, So I'm going to buy their core skills. You stay here for some days. I need your help." Chase nodded.
He wanted to be strong as soon as possible, for revenge, and for his father.
He could know his father had been back to Lu's Family.
