Dinah Chen crept into the restaurant like a thief afraid of being detected.
“You don’t have to do that. We come to dinner fair and square. We don’t steal or rob.” Victor Chu looked at Dinah and said.
“Why don’t we go out? It’s said that a simple meal for two people will cost thousands of dollars, not including the service charge. You have to work long to make the money for the meal.” Dinah said. Dinah didn’t want Victor to go to this expense because she knew how hard it’s for Victor to make money alone.
“Come on, I booked a booth ahead of time. Even if you don’t eat, I can’t get the money back.” Victor threw up his hands and said helplessly.
“Ah? It’s such a waste! Don’t do that again!” Dinah said.
Dinah held her ears in a half-lop and toughen her scalp to walk it.
“I’ll go to the restroom first. I’ll be with you later…”Dinah said. Suddenly Dinah walked towards the toilet. Victor couldn’t help laughing when he saw Dinah behaved carefully.
Dinah knows to think for Victor, but Daisy Chen never does that.
By the way, Daisy was having dinner here with Carl Guo. But the White Swan Music Restaurant is huge and it has two floors. Daisy and Carl came first and they might already be in the booth or box, so it’s hard to see them.
In this way, Victor was a little less embarrassed. It’s good.
“Victor, what are you doing here?”
When Victor was thinking, a voice came behind him startled him.
Victor turned his head and saw Daisy and Carl were in front of him.
“Oh, I see. You are still a man for takeaway. Great, you’ve got a big order? The take-out of White Swan Music Restaurant can bring you a lot of money, right? You can get at least 10 or 20 dollars at a time.” Daisy said.
Daisy understood immediately when she thought of Victor’s job. There was a strange look in her face and she looked at Victor as if she were looking at a clown.
“I’ve given up the part-time job as a man for takeaway.” Victor said expressionlessly.
Victor didn’t know why Daisy always scolds him. They two have broken up. Isn’t it better to break up peacefully? Why Daisy takes pleasure in teasing and humiliating others? Victor really didn’t know what Daisy was thinking.
Perhaps Daisy wanted to show her sincerity in front of Carl after she saw the huge potential of Carl and the re-cooperation between Guo family and Pearl Group. It’s funny.
“What are you doing here if you are not a man for takeaway? Do you know where here is? Do you know the minimum charge of White Swan Music Restaurant is 2000 dollars? That’s a month’s salary for your part-time job!” Daisy said.
Daisy didn’t believe Victor was here for dinner, because she thought Victor couldn’t afford a meal here.
“Daisy, he is not here for dinner, so he doesn’t mind how high the price is. He does not even have the concept of a five-star restaurant. He probably came here to take photos and post them in moments.” Carl said. Carl then lit a cigarette.
“Victor, you’re not following me, are you? Do you still have illusion about me?” Daisy said. When Daisy thought that, she picked her eyebrows and looked at Victor maliciously.
“You think too much, I…”Victor said.
“Stop talking and get out of here. My good mood was ruined by you. Waiter, throw him out. He can’t afford a dinner here and he has a questionable purpose” Daisy said without giving an opportunity for Victor to continue speaking.
A waiter in a suit and vest, with a friendly smile on his face, hurried over with a silver plate. The waiter’s eyes quickly swept over Victor and then fell on Daisy and Carl.
“This gentleman, this lady, have you booked a booth here?” The waiter said.
“Of course! Are you doubting that we can’t afford a dinner here?” Carl said. After hearing that, Carl was not happy. He tugged his sleeves deliberately to show the Longines watch on his wrist.
After seeing that, the waiter smiled and made a gesture of please to Victor. “Sir, our restaurant welcomes high-end consumers. In order to create a good dining atmosphere and high-end consumption experience, outsides are not allowed to stay here. If any of our guests feel unwell because of your behavior, it’s a dereliction of the duty of our service.” Then waiter said.
Obviously, it’s an expulsion order.
The waiter is able to screen for emotional clues. By a slight contrast in their dress and appearance, he knew who he should serve.
The customer is king. The waiter did what Daisy and Carl asked.
“You’re going too far!” Dinah said.
Dinah walked out of the restroom and saw the scene. She came angrily and defended Victor against an injustice.
“Sister, how can you do that? Victor didn’t offend you and why you always kicks him around? It’s been a tough three years for him.” Dinah said incomprehensibly.
“What are you doing here?” Daisy said.
Daisy frowned to the extreme.
“By the way, Dinah, when it’s your turn to give me a lesson? What the hell are you? Don’t take yourself seriously as you made some money.” Daisy said.
“Oh, I see. You’ve made some money and take Victor here for dinner. Dinah, you are great. Why didn’t I notice you are so awesome? Just tell me how much private money you have.” Daisy said.
Daisy was suddenly enlightened.
Daisy wondered why Victor, a penniless vagrant was in White Swan Music Restaurant. It turned out that her sister brought him there.
“Dinah is the leader of the project of Chen family and Pearl Company and she made a lot of money. The first cooperation alone brought her hundreds of thousands of dollars. Apart from the large part took by our parents and the tens of thousands by me, the rest must be harbored by her. I didn’t know she has scheming. She is not simple!” Daisy thought.
“I have no money. I gave all the money to you and our parents.” Dinah bit her lips and said.
“Forget it, Daisy. Let’s enjoy our meal and don’t pay attention to such a loser. He can afford to eat one meal, but can he afford to eat another?” Carl sneered.
“Dinah, I’ll get even with you when I get home.” Daisy said cruelly.
After saying that, Daisy was taken away by Carl.
“Waiter, we have a reservation for table 1. Bring the food to us!” Daisy said.
Daisy’s commanding voice echoed in the air.
“Alas, I’m sorry to let you be wronged.” Victor said guiltily.
“I’m fine. It’s you who are wronged. You invited me to this meal.” Dinah shook her head and said.
Suddenly classical music began to play in the hall.
It’s Beethoven’s Moonlight Pianolude. The graceful keys were dancing at the fingertips of a foreign beauty. A small band went over to Carl and Daisy’s table to play the violin.
“Wow, Carl, you’re so romantic! I love you so much!” Daisy said. Daisy couldn’t help stretching out her hand and crossed her fingers with Carl’s.
Unlike other tables, the tableware in table 1 is crystal. As table 1 is located in the center of the hall, it can attract much attention.
That’s a great marketing tool.
In a short time, all the food was delivered quickly. There were two beautiful waitresses stood by and were ready to serve. They waitresses could do anything but feed them.
“I love you so much, Carl. I love this service.” Daisy couldn’t help yelling. She picked up her phone and snapped one photo after another. Then she updated the photos to her moments and received many likes.
The roommates of Daisy were envious.
“That’s great. I heard that these are special services of White Swan Music Restaurant. It’s so expensive. It costs tens of thousands of dollars at a time.
“When can we as pizazzy as Daisy. Alas, it’s difficult to find a boyfriend.!”
……
Carl, who sat opposite, was wondering what’s going on.
He didn’t order any of these services. Are the clerks mistaken?
But Carl was up a gum tree. He didn’t say that as he saw Daisy was excited.
Daisy looked at Victor defiantly and she found Victor walked to the front desk.
“Could you please arrange the seat for me. My friend made the order for me. This is the screenshot of the order she sent me. You can have a look.” Victor said. Victor handed his phone to the waiter. There is a WeChat screenshot with a two-dimensional code and order number.
Xi Ming booked the booth for Victor and Victor didn’t know where Xi Ming booked.
The waiter scanned the order number with the machine and she frowned immediately. The waiter took a look at the table in the center of the hall. “Booth 1? Isn’t there someone?” The waiter thought.
The receptionist confirmed the information again and changed her facial expression suddenly. She called the waiter and said, “Are you making a mistake? These two are the guests who have reserved booth 1 and those two ordered regular table 1. How can you arrange those two to the center booth? How can you get it all mixed up? Do you want to work here?”
“Ah? I’ll check it out.” The waiter said. The waiter who wore a suit and a vest and wanted to throw Victor out was scared to sweat. He ran to the table of Carl and said, “Sir, may I see you receipt? I need to confirm the information.”
“What are you doing? Why you disturb us?” Carl said. Carl picked up the receipt on the table and threw it to the waiter. The waiter looked at it twice and said with a forced smile, “Sir and lady, this seat is exclusive booth and it’s reserved by those two guests. Your seats are in that corner.”
The waiter pointed to the table by the window and near the door. The table there is more than twice as small as the booth. The cutlery is also shabby, not to mention the atmosphere.
