Seeing Carl Guo at a loss, Daisy chuckled again, touching his nose tenderly, "Brother Carl, are you sure to keep concealing from me?"
"I’ve seen the words on the banner."
"Happy birthday to Miss Chen. " Daisy read them on the banner for one more time.
She giggled, "Brother Carl, I know you have prepared all of these for me. Thank you so much. Today I must be the happiest woman in the world."
"Carl, Daisy have known that you are the mysterious rich man who reserved the Cloud Palace." Jane Wu smiled.
"Yeah, Daisy have known that quite early. Carl, you are so hard-nosed. Don’t you plan to tell Daisy about it?" Mei Liu seemed to blame him.
Looking at everyone's enviable eyes and the honeyed expression of Daisy, Carl was completely puzzled.
What's all this about?
Did Daisy really think he had reserved the Cloud Palace?
The thought made him break into a cold sweat on his forehead.
"Daisy..."
Not waiting for his following words, Daisy held on to his arm and said, "Brother Carl, come in, hurry up. I can't wait to watch Xinglun Zhou sing."
"Well…okay."
Carl stammered. In this case, he naturally couldn't tell her the truth.
After all, she brought so many friends here. Once he told the truth, Daisy must be very embarrassed as well as himself.
So he had to pretend to be innocent to find a way into the observatory.
As they were about to get in, someone appeared in front of them.
It’s Dinah.
"Brother Victor, sister? What are you doing here?" Not expecting to see them here, Daisy greeted at a loss.
Victor smiled to Dinah slightly, "Dinah, I have been waiting for you for a long time. Let's go."
"Where are you going?" Daisy interjected in a voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Victor, are you serious? I know you want to celebrate my sister's birthday. But don’t you think you should ask for my boyfriend’s permission first?"
"Why should I do that?" Victor frowned.
"What?" Daisy sneered. "Don’t you know the Cloud Palace has been reserved by Carl?"
"Without Carl’s permission, you and this bitch won’t be allowed to enter the Cloud Palace. "
"Is that true? Why not have a try?" He smiled slightly.
"How? Follow me and Carl and explain that we are friends?" Daisy sneered.
"Are you kidding me?" Victor said.
"What did you say?"
"Are you crazy? Want to follow us to enter the Cloud Palace? Have you asked for our permission?" Daisy said with scorn.
She had planned to show her mercy and allow Dinah to follow her in to enjoy the treatment of the Cloud Palace. However, Victor's attitude put her off.
"Victor, don’t be silly. What are you doing here without money?"
"Yeah, it isn’t shameless to follow Brother Carl since Carl is generous enough. "
Jane and Mei also sneered at them.
Dinah was also a little embarrassed for him. She didn't expect that the mysterious rich man in their school turned out to be Carl.
Therefore, the Cloud Palace should be Carl’s today.
She thought they would only be insulted if they continued to stay here.
Dinah pulled Victor’s sleeve and whispered, "Victor, it seems that we have to leave now."
"No. Why should we leave?" He smiled.
"We won’t go anywhere today!" Victor held her hand, saying firmly.
"What a fool!" Daisy cursed him scornfully.
Then she tucked her arm into Carl's with pride.
"Brother Carl, let's get in now. I don’t want to see idiots!"
Carl nodded stiffly, who was led into the hall by Daisy like a marionette.
Victor also took Dinah's hand, comforting her tenderly, "Don't be afraid. Today the Cloud Palace belongs to you."
"Okay." She nodded. Though she didn't know why Victor did that, she was willing to support him even if they might be embarrassed or humiliated.
Daisy and Carl came to the checkout counter.
Before Carl spoke, Daisy said to the waitress, "Where’s your manager? Why don't he greet us?"
The waitress asked in puzzlement, "Excuse me, Miss, may I have your name?"
"You don't know who I am?"
Obviously, she felt unhappy that the waitress didn't even know today's heroine.
"I’m so sorry, miss..."
"Shut up. Call your manager to show us to the observatory." Daisy interrupted impatiently.
"Are you Miss Chen?" The waitress reacted according to her tone.
"Yes, I’m Miss Chen." She said arrogantly with vanity satisfaction.
"Okay, I'll call the manager to come." The waitress nodded hurriedly. Miss Chen in front of her must be the heroine.
The waitress dialed the number.
While Carl kept sweating nervously, wondering what to do now.
How could he tell her the truth tactfully that he didn’t reserve the Cloud Palace.
Carl was regretting that he hadn’t explained to her before. As a result, it put him in a dilemma.
"Daisy, actually I ..."
As he was about to tell everything to her, a middle-aged gentleman in a tidy suit appeared.
Daisy talked to him arrogantly, "Are you the manager?"
The man nodded with a smile and asked in a polite voice, "Are you Miss Chen?"
"Yeah." She raised his chin with pride.
"Then where’s Mr. Chu?" He looked around the people in the hall behind her, not seeing Victor.
"Mr. Chu? "
"You must be mistaken. It’s Mr. Guo!"
"It's Mr. Guo!"
Daisy was displeased that they should mistake the name of their customer.
The manager was confused by her, "Miss Chen, I’m sure the man that reserved the Cloud Palace is Mr. Chu."
"No! It’s Mr. Guo!" Daisy cursed and pulled Carl over, "Carl, tell him, who reserved the Cloud Palace!"
At a loss, Carl looked at her penetrating eyes, speaking nothing.
"Just tell him you reserved the Cloud Palace." She kept urging him impatiently.
She didn't notice that the expression of the manager was very strange.
"Daisy, actually..."
"It's me!"
Someone said coldly behind them.
