On the second floor, Daisy Chen got incensed seeing Victor was still following them shamelessly.
“What the hell are you still doing here, you crap? Get lost!”
“Do you own this place?” Victor face turned cold.
“You...” Daisy got speechless.
“Waste no time on him, honey. We’re still heading up, I don’t think he still dare to follow.” Carl tossed a look of scorn at Victor and grabbed Daisy closer to him.
There was a check-in that requires membership card to be allowed to enter the members zone at the entrance of the third floor.
Carl took his card out and put it in the slot..
Beep.
”Golden Card.”
Access acquired.
But Carl stopped there and whispered to the security guard as he pointed to Victor.
“We didn’t know who that bastard is. If he say he’s our acquaintance, just kicked his ass out of here.”
“Sure, Mr Guo.” Nodded the guard, who fixed his eyes on Victor, on alert.
“Let’s go, honey.” Carl grabbed Daisy by her waist and thought to himself:”Victor...a loser like him would never stand a chance against me.”
After they got on the third floor, Victor took his time and walked near the check-in quite slowly.
“Card, please, sir.” The guard stopped Victor, sounded quite aggressively.
Still expressionless, Victor took his card out and put it in the slot as well.
Beep.
“Diamond Card.”
Diamond Card!?
The guards eyes grew wide, and disbelief crawled up his face.
The next second, he put on a flatterer’s ass-kissing smile:””This way please, Mr Chu.”
And it got Victor speechless. He shook his head and sneered again: Even security guard had learned to be a snob.
He ran into Carl and Daisy again on the third floor, who frowned quite hard when they see him.
“You crap...You beg the guard to let you in, didn’t you?” Uttered Daisy, infuriated.
Victor sighed and smiled, he had no intention of explaining since Daisy wouldn’t believe it anyway.
But his silence looked like confession to Daisy.
“You’d better still know what shame is!”
Then Daisy grabbed Carl’s arms and said:”Let’s go to the fourth floor, Carl.”
“Sure,” Nodded Carl, and he left a threat to Victor angrily:”Victor Chu, I will break your damn leg if you dare follow again!”
Paying no attention how Victor would react, he walked up to the check-in of the fourth floor and make the same demand he left in the check-in of third floor to another security guard.
He even took down the staff number of that security guard, for he threatened the guard that he would file a complaint if he see Victor on the fourth floor.
And the guard kept nodding.
It looked funny to Victor, who’s smile turned defiant. There went Carl’s dignity.
He walked around the third floor for a while and went upstairs, nothing caught his eyes there.
And the guard of the third floor kept following Victor like his personal bodyguard, meanwhile cursing Carl who almost make him offend a potential VIP guest.
Golden card was nothing in comparison with the diamond card, they’re not on the same level.
Enemies never gets to avoid each other for long. As soon as Victor got on the fourth floor, he found Carl and Daisy shopping in the calligraphy area.
They saw Victor as well.
Shocked, then incensed.
Ta-ta-ta.
Even though in high-heels, it didn’t take Daisy long to get near Victor. Gnashing her teeth, she exclaimed to Daisy:”What the FUCK is your problem?”
“Daisy Chen, I don’t think you own this place.” Victor got a little pissed too, for Daisy thought that he was following her.
“How dare you talk back!”
Daisy almost went insane, she raised her hand and was about to slap Victor.
But before her hand went down, Victor grabbed it.
“Enough, Daisy!”
Shouted Victor, grimly. He had been conciliatory to Daisy so many times, not because he was afraid of her but he sincerely treated her as his fiance.
But Daisy showed appreciation, and took that as cowardice.
Daisy’s arrogance only kept growing during Victor’s three years of disgrace. First there was only humiliation, then it got worse to slapping and hitting.
That was as far as Victor could tolerate.
“What...What do you think you’re doing?!”
Her eyes dilated, nearly burst, as if it was something impossible.
“As you can see.” Replied Victor, face still cold.
It completely triggered Daisy’s rage.
She had gone insane. Daisy let out a scream and raised her feet, stomping down toward that of Victor. If it did landed, it may indeed cost Victor his feet.
Victor sneered again. Having no intention of being courteous, he slapped Daisy, right on her face.
Pa!
The sound of it echoed in the hall. Daisy was slept down to the ground as the mark of a hand emerged on her face.
“Victor Chu! What are you doing!”
It enraged Carl as well that Victor slapped his woman right in front of his face, which is one of the biggest disgrace to a man.
But as enraged as he was, Carl dare not start a fight given how strong Victor was.
“No fighting!”
The security guards of the Ivy Loft came witnessing what just happened.
“Where the hell have you been? What took you so long!” Shouted Carl.
“My apology sir, this is our fault.” One of it bowed and apologized.
“That’s it? Your apology?”
Carl continued and pointed at Victor:”This stray dog’s got no membership god, why the hell did you let him in?”
“No card?” That was a big surprise to the security team. If it was true, they may be fired.
“Sir, there could be misunderstandings.” Said Yongan Wu, the manager of security team.
“Misunderstanding my ass!”
Carl was mad as hell. He pointed to Victor again and said::”He’s just a take-out deliverer! The moment we stepped in here he had been following us, I’m damn sure he didn’t mean well! And that two of your stupid teams just ignored my word and just let that stray dog in! Now you’re telling me this could be a fucking MISUNDERSTANDING?”
Carl had never been met with such a disgrace in his whole life.
“Sorry sir. If it’s all true, we will handle it well and make our compensation.” Wu the manager bowed and apologized again.
Each and every member of the Ivy Loft’s member are of extreme importance, offending just one of them would be a huge public reputation crisis for it.
The manager turned to Victor, and his attitude turned aggressive as well seeing the clothing of Victor.
“Sir, your membership card please.” Uttered the manager. He would teach Victor a serious lesson if Victor did sneak in the Ivy Loft,
“Sure.”
Still no expression, Victor gave the manager his card.
The manager took it in his hand and checked.
He almost threw it away as he saw that the design of that card indicated diamond.
A diamond card?
Is it even possible?
Isn’t that a thing belongs to the wealthy only?
“Any problems?” Frowned Victor, since the manager didn’t say anything.
“No...not at all, there’s no problem to it. Sir, your card is valid and authentic.” The manager quickly shook his head and placed the card back in Victor’s hand as if it one more touch would break it.
“What? No problem?”
“That’s impossible!”
Screamed Daisy, disbelief was all over her face.”You must have got it wrong!”
“How can such a loser get a membership card of Ivy Loft?”
“He’s just a take-out driver that makes no more than a hundred thousand a year! Where did he even get the money to buy a membership card!”
Daisy didn’t get a clear sight of the card in Victor’s hand, she thought it was a silver card just like hers.
“We’re sure, miss. What he has is the diamond card of our Ivy Loft.” Frowned the manager, who was a bit embarrassing being doubted incapable of recognizing a membership card after having worked there for ten years.
“What? Diamond.”
That shocked Daisy again.
The manager nodded:”Yes, diamond.”
“And you said you’re sure.” Sneered Daisy.
“Do you know who this crap is? A live-in son-in-law! My family’s live-in son-in-law!”
