Katie's attitude towards Carrie made Carrie puzzled as if it was a dream. Katie, the vice president of QY Group, was so polite and even respectful. Carrie signed the contract in a daze, and even after she left the edifice, she was still confused. Was it always so easy to make such a big contract? Was it because of Carl? How could Carl have so much confidence? Did Carl predict such a result before? Carrie didn't come back to her mind until she saw Carl there. "Carl!" Carrie ran to Carl with excitement. "I made it!" Carl was speechless. "You're the president's wife, so how can you fail the contract?" Carl thought in his mind. He had to be surprised. "Great! You're capable and talented!" Carrie was embarrassed. "It's not because of my effort. I even didn't negotiate with Miss. Wang. She's so kind to directly give me the contract." Then Carrie asked. "Carl. Who's your friend in QY Group? Is it just Miss. Wang?" No one could decide such a big contract, except for Katie Wang. Carrie knew Su's family well. Su was not qualified to cooperate with QY Group. The contract would bring many benefits to Su's family but maybe damage to QY Group. Therefore, friendship was not enough to explain Katie's strange decision. Carl smiled. "It's Katie Wang. She owed me a favor." That was the truth, indeed. Carl had saved his fellows in the Army of Hell in battles many times. Carrie misunderstood Carl's meaning. She stared at Carl and asked. "You and she..." Carl was speechless. "Don't think too much!" Carrie snorted. "Hum! No one knows if you had affairs with someone, in the five years." Then she blushed. Such a kind of word was like a woman coquetting in front of her lover. Carl smiled. "I had no chance to do such things in the army. There are only winds and sands in the North. Never mind. Let's go back to the company." Carrie nodded. "Let's go back to see what Irvin can say now." Carl laughed. "I really want to see how Irvin will kneel and kowtow to you." Carrie said in a low voice. "Irvin is arrogant and pride, so he won't kneel..." Carl smiled. "Your biggest weakness is just kindness. That's why they always bully you."
