Listening to Bean Bush mentioning her mother, Dora Bush was suddenly agitated. Her eyes stared closely at Bean Bush and said, “What did you do to my mother?” Her mother was her only family now. Dora Bush felt anxious at once. Seeing her reaction, Bean Bush laughed. His voice sounds threatening. “I haven’t done anything, yet. But if you don’t listen to me, I don’t know what might happen next.” After saying that, Bean Bush left as if he’s very sure that he could control Dora Bush. Dora Bush started to panic. She couldn’t care about other stuff anymore. She shut the door and rushed towards the hospital. While in the cab, Dora Bush’s felt perturbed. “Sir, could you please drive faster? I’m in rush.” The driver answered helplessly, “Miss, this is already fast enough. Safety first!” Dora Bush looked anxious. She clutched her clothes tightly—anxiety, fear, all kinds of feelings were getting mixed inside her heart. She paused for a while, then took out her phone and called Perry Moore’s number. Perry Moore’s softened voice was heard from the other side of the phone. “Hello, Dora, what’s up?” “Uncle Perry, is my mom at the hospital? How’s her condition? Did something happened to her?” On the other side of the phone, Perry Moore asked with confusion, “What’s wrong? I was on business trip yesterday. But I checked beforehand, your mom was fine.” The car had arrived at the hospital. Dora Bush hurriedly said a couple of words then hung up the phone. She rushed to the building immediately after paying the fare. She knew clearly that Bean Bush would do everything for his own gains. How’s her mother’s condition, to be exact? Dora Bush went straight to her mother’s room. The room was empty. The blanket was folded tidily as well, and it seemed like it was cleaned not long ago. Where’s her mother? Dora Bush felt tightness in her heart. She felt utterly scared. She quickly grabbed a nurse that passed by and asked, “Excuse me, Nurse, I am Judy Harris’ guardian. I’d like to ask, where’s my mother? Where did you brought her to?” Dora Bush was getting more panicked. Where on earth did they bring her mother to?” The nurse seemed confused. She peeped inside the room, then answered slowly, “Was it Judy Harris? Oh, she was transferred to another hospital this evening.” She was transferred? Dora Bush was furious knowing that. She held the nurse’s hand tightly. “How’s it possible? Doesn’t the hospital need to get the guardian’s approval before transferring the patient? How could you just let somebody else transfer the patient away?” Dora Bush raised her voice, and as her words showed that she’s quite annoyed, everyone who passed the corridor couldn’t help but look at her. “I……I don’t know.” The nurse who still couldn’t grasp the situation was a bit confused being scolded by her. Dora Bush’s face turned pale. If something terrible happened to her mother, what would she do……She tried her best to calm down and said, “Where’s your department head? I want to see him.” Not long after, a man came hurriedly. He was wearing the doctor’s coat and glasses on his face. He looked like 40 something-year-old. “Miss Bush, I’m the head of this department, Larkin Li. What can I help you?” His tone sounded impatient. Dora Bush calmed herself down, then she asked coldly, “Doctor Li, I’m Judy Harris’ family member. May I ask, why did your hospital transferred the patient without guardian’s consent? I need you to give me an explanation this instant and find out where my mom is right away.” Larkin Li heard her and said indifferently, “I apologize, Miss Bush, we transferred the patient after the other party showed us the family certificate.” Upon hearing that, the already calmed Dora Bush was agitated once again. “According to the law, my mother’s family is only me. I never agreed to transfering the patient. Have you verified the authenticity of the family certificate? If something terrible happened to my mother, could all of you take the blame?” The current Dora Bush had turned pale as she was irritated. Her voice was full of rage. Realized that the people surrounding them were increasing, Larkin Li slightly frowned. “Miss Bush, what we did in this hospital is naturally guaranteed. I hope that you stop making a scene here as it disturbed other patients, or else, we’ll make a police report.” Dora Bush smirked, then said, “Go ahead! Call the police! Let’s have to police force handle this matter!” Larkin Li frowned. He threatened to make a police report was supposed to intimidate Dora Bush, but if they really did, this matter might get out of hand. Larkin Li noticed that Dora Bush had taken out her phone. His expression changed immediately. “Miss Bush, please stop messing around here. I don’t have that much time to spent with you here.” As he talked, before Dora Bush could dial the number, she was kicked out of the hospital. …… Larkin Li was watching Dora Bush getting kicked out of the hospital. A hint of a smile was shown on his face. He went into the restroom and dialed a number. “Hello, CEO Bush, Dora Bush was at the hospital just now. She’d been kicked out now, I think she won’t be able to create a bigger buzz too.” Bean Bush, on the other side of the line, smiled, “Mm, once there’s any update, report to me immediately.” “Don’t worry, CEO Bush. Your mom is finel.” He paused for a while, then said, “If you want her to get back safely at the hospital and keep on getting treatment, contact Arno Jones right this instant. It’d be best if the cooperation matter is done by tomorrow.” Bean Bush knew, the more anxious Dora Bush was, the higher the possibility to get his problem fixed. Everything was under his control. Dora Bush’s face hardened. She gritted her teeth and said, “Aren’t you afraid that I’ll tell Arno Jones, you threatened me?” If she told Arno Jones, he surely had countless ways to make Bean Bush send her mom back. Bean Bush sounded heavy, “Dora Bush, if you dare to tell Arno Jones, I can’t guarantee what I might to your mother if I lose control.” Dora Bush’s pupil sank. Bean Bush kept on talking. “At the worst…… We go down together.” The call ended. Tu..tu..tu.. sound was heard. Dora Bush had turned pale since before. Bean Bush and her mother had divorced a long time ago. He didn’t have the right to take her mother at all. Dora Bush clearly felt, Larkin Li might have been bribed. She was too careless.
