In General's Mansion, everything seemed to be peaceful.
In a blink of an eye, it was noon. Sandy Shen looked out of the window at the sun.
Dannie hadn't come back yet.
"Don't worry, Princess. Maybe she is attracted by the funny things. she will be back soon."
Sandy frowned and said nothing.
She knew about Dannie; she was not the kind of girl that would delay back home for larking.
Sandy said, "go to the front yard and ask the Butler whether the servant, who escorted Dannie out, has come back yet."
"Okay." it's was about time for lunch, Mama Zhao would ask it on her way to Spring Graden.
Mama Zhao got to know that both Dannie and the servant had already back half an hour ago. Later, the servant went to work somewhere else. Dannie went through the front yard and went back to the Spring Graden.
Mama Zhao was confused. Since she had come back, why didn't she show up?
Mama Zhao had searched every corner of the dining hall in the front yard, but she failed to find her. Then she returned to the dining hall to prepare Sandy; she would look for her after a meal.
Sandy's eyelids kept twitching today.
After a while, there were noises from the yard.
Sandy thought it was Dannie who came back. But it seemed impossible since Mama Zhao stepped out for a moment.
As a result, the person standing in the yard was neither Dannie nor Mama Zhao, but Emma's maid, Daisy.
Daisy looked pretty under the sun with her fair skin and big watery eyes.
Sandy was disappointed. Leaning against the door, she squinted at Daisy, "have you forgotten where you from?"
Daisy said calmly, "no. I'm here for you today."
Sandy frowned, "really? What do you want from me?"
Daisy smirked, "Your Highness, I'm here to invite you for my Lady."
Sandy sneered, tapped her forehead with her fingers, "what's the problem with your Lady? Tell her, don't waste her energy; I flag her." Then she turned around.
Unexpectedly, Daisy said behind her, "Your Highness, aren't you worried about Dannie?"
Sandy froze.
Then she slowly turned around and looked at Daisy. Her eyes were as dark as ink, and there was a hint of coldness in them. She narrowed her eyes with a grin. "What did you say just now?"
Daisy couldn't help but tremble. She pretended to be calm, "your highness, just follow me for Dannie."
Sandy withdrew her gaze calmly. She turned around and walked into the room, saying, "of course I have to go. Before that, I need to wash my hands." She had taken the black charcoal; there were still some stains on her fingers.
When Daisy was waiting outside, she heard Sandy's cold voice coming out of the room. "Daisy, if anything happened to Dannie, you know, you will die in hurt."
Daisy couldn't help but tremble slightly, straightening her chest. The bitch would never see the beautiful sunlight ever! She didn't think she had the chance to revenge!
The young girl put on hatred. Sandy made a stick to blame her in public, which shames her. Like Emma, she also wanted Sandy to die immediately.
When Sandy came out, Daisy restrained her wicked expression.
Sandy wore a baguette with full sleeves and a turtle neck. She walked with the wind blowing at the corner of her sleeves. She squinted and followed Daisy. In the sunlight, she looked like a blooming Avery that almost to fly.
Daisy didn't take her to the Lotus Garden, nor to anywhere that Emma Liu often went.
In General's Mansion, there were many places that Sandy had never been to.they went deep into it; there was an abandoned yard that was filled with weeds.
Walking through a narrow path that was growing some jasmine and vine, the vision widened.
Sandy frowned as she saw Emma was standing by the pond gracefully, without seeing Dannie.
Sandy got closed, asking to the point, "where is Dannie?"
Emma turned her head, chuckling, "don't worry, your highness. She is fine."
"Where is she?"
Emma said gracefully, "I heard from the servants that Dannie is domineering and supercilious. As the leader of the General's Mansion, to make it fair, I have to punish her."
Nothing changed in Sandy's eyes; Emma stared into her eyes, something inside retreating her.
Emma was afraid, but she wouldn't like to lose the precious chance to put her down.
Sandy asked, "what kind of punishment will you give her?"
Emma calmed down and said, "as long as you don't make trouble on me anymore, I won't too."
Emma signed to Daisy as she showed weakness to Sandy, "Your Highness, I didn't mean to be your enemy. We have the same husband; we should live in harmony."
Sandy squinted at her, mocking, "you want to be my enemy? Do you deserve it?"
Emma took a deep breath and forced a smile as if she wanted to be friendly with Sandy. "Although General doesn't love you, you have married to him, so just take your fate. The past is past; from the day on, you will be his wife, and I'm the concubine; we are a family. As to your scars, I will ask the General to help you. "
Emma tried to relax the vigilance of Sandy and kept her eyes on Daisy.
Sandy seemed distracted by her touching speech.
As soon as Emma finished her words, she signaled Daisy, kill her now!
Daisy had stood behind Sandy. She was prepared to push her into the pond at any time. There were countless locusts in the pond; she would be bitten to death.
The pitiful sight pleased Daisy.
However, Emma and Daisy ignored the subtle change in Sandy's eyes; she saw through them by reflecting in pupils and Daisy behind her.
They had no idea that they were challenging a beast, not a sheep.
Sandy stepped aside as Daily rushed to her with a push. Dasiy could only touch her shelves corner but staggered.
