Chapter 40 The Proof

Sandy Shen twisted her hand, and the stick landed on the servant’s back. The servant was stepping backward for the hit. But he was relieved that no one dared to interrupt into the war between General and the Princess. Sandy put the stick in the ground with a bang that should not be from a pregnant woman. Sandy raised her chin to look at Hercules with eyebrows lifting, “Give me a reason to kneel.” Hercules slammed against the chair, narrowing her eyes, “You want a reason, I will give you. Come over, Daisy.” As soon as Sandy finished, Daisy came with staggers, she knelt down, bursting tears. The bloodstain penetrated the bandage made her poorer as she was. Daisy looked up with hate, pointing to Sandy, grinned her teeth. “General, it’s she that pushed Lady Emma to the pond. Sandy smirked, slide to Daisy. “You said that I pushed Emma to the pond, but you said you lost your senses as well; how can you do that at the same time?” Daisy shot back, “you pushed Lady Emma first, then hit me.” Sandy burst into laughter, “If it is true, what the hell are you doing at that time? Are you standing by her? ” Sandy paused, continuing with a sharp tune. “you such bold maidservant, leave along with your Lady and frame others. General didn’t punish you; you should feel lucky, how dare you to get wrong me?” Daisy was speechless for what Sandy said; she raised her more pale face, defending. “I swear all I said was the truth. Yes, I didn’t stop her wicked plan as she pushed Lady Emma to the pond.” “Do you believe that? It was ridiculous; I am a pregnant woman that is going to bear. I almost won’t hang outside Spring Garden; you said that I went to the back yard and fight against both of you. You know, Mama Zhao is on the dill hall for my meal, and Dannie was locked in the Pharmacy. You mean that I defeat you two by myself?” Sandy convinced others but Hercules. He knew that Sandy was stronger than she showed; she could defeat both Emma and Daisy. Sandy kept to the point slowly, “Why did I go to the backyard? And why are you there too?” Daisy prepared how to reply to this question, “Lady Emma wants to compromise with you, but you set her in danger.” “Funny, I never stepped outside from Spring Garden.” Daisy didn’t expect that Sandy denied that she went to the pond, no matter what she said. No one could stand to prove for her that Sandy had been to the backyard. Daisy went to cry under Herccules’s knees to shift her unfair disadvantage. “General, she persuaded by sophistry, please trust me, it’s she pushed Lady Emma into the pond.” Sandy tuck up the dress, squatting down near Daisy, seized Daisy’s chin with fingers. Daisy was forced to look into her eyes. As soon as her teary eyes met hers, a killing flashed through. You should blame yourself that you should have stopped her to marched to the dangerous place. And it’s you who is careless that makes her fall into the pond. But you make me take the blame, young girl likes you, how could you wicked like this？General is a wise person, and he would not trust you.” Daisy widened eyes with fear. The horrible woman, she didn’t admit her crime but made her take the blame, and her deduction was perfect that could not be overthrown. Daisy was scared, shouting out with trembling voices. “General, please trust me, it’s she, she set the trap on us, and she hit on my head as you have seen. She, the wicked woman, she is disturbing your mind.” Hercules was furious, but he had to judge by the evidence. Sandy denied everything that Daisy described. Hercules shook his will now, but no matter who hurt Emma, he would not let her go. Sandy gazed at Daisy, “YOu said I hit your head, I think it’s you hit yourself to get rid of the punishment, and in this way, I will be the bad guy.” Hercules shot cold eyesight on Daisy, frowning. As soon as Sandy left, someone reported to Hercules. “General, there are two maids that could prove that the Princess left Spring Garden and headed in the direction to the backyard.”
