Chapter 14 Embarrassment

Sofia Pai was sitting on the toilet, looking at the phone in a daze. At this time, he should be off work. Should she send him a text message saying that she was going to work overtime tonight and that he should go to sleep early? She looked at the words Wilson Yun at the screen and hesitated. After a while, she had no choice but pressed the dial button after another sneeze. Sofia just saw Wilson’s name but as if seeing his condescending emperor’s posture. Her face started to get hot. The phone dialed for a while, and Sofia thought no one was about to answer. When she was about to hang up, the call was connected. “Hey, this is Sofia Pai.” Wilson replied, “I just got off the work, and I will go back for dinner tonight. Wilson thought that Sofia called him to ask if he would go back for dinner. He didn’t know that Sofia was not staying in the villa and went to the company for an internship. “I got into trouble, can you do me a favor?” Sofia said and looked at the design of the bathroom. With her skill, it would be difficult to climb out of the bathroom. If Wilson could come, that would be the best, if not, she could only rely on herself. “Go ahead!” Wilson held the phone with one hand, took the briefcase with the other hand, and walked into the elevator. She looked at the height of the bathroom door. If she jumped up, she might climb out before Wilson came. No one would see anyway, and she didn’t care about her image now. With this in mind, Sofia put her phone on the toilet and stood on the toilet. She measured the distance between the toilet and the door. She waited for a long time but didn’t feel landing. When she opened her eyes, a cold and helpless face appeared in front of her. “Why are you here?” Sofia said and got up from Wilson’s arms. With Wilson’s gaze, Sofia realized that he must be disgusted with her image. “Thanks,” Sofia said. She had always spoken with confidence, but in front of Wilson, Sofia always acts obediently. Was it because his ice face that had never been exposed to the sun all year round? Wilson walked towards her step by step, and Sofia stepped back with her heart beating fast. Wilson walked to Sofia in two strides and suddenly reached out and held Sofia’s hands and turned them over. He frowned when he saw Sofia’s pale palms becoming red. “Didn’t I tell you to wait?” Wilson questioned. “I thought I could climb out,” Sofia replied in a voice lacking confidence. His families shouldn’t like this type of girl. Sofia thought Wilson would scold her, but he just looked at her palms and said after a long time, “Don’t be so silly.” Sofia felt warm. Sofia was taken out by Wilson. She wanted to take the material back to see, but Wilson said no and picked up her bag, and walked outside, “It’s too cold. Change your clothes first,” Wilson said and threw a shopping bag to her. Sofia stared at Wilson who was driving and was surprised that he even went to help her buy some clothes. Sofia looked at the label on the shopping bag, and the price was beyond her ability to pay. “Don’t buy me such expensive clothes. How can I pay back so much money?” Sofia said. In her subconscious, Sofia didn’t take his money as her own. “You are my wife!” Wilson suddenly slammed the breaks and told Sofia seriously. He then restarted the car. Sofia nodded dully but kept this issue in her mind.
