When Sofia Pai called Wendy Pai the next day to ask for leave, Wendy asked a lot of questions about whether Sofia was pretending to be sick. Sofia just wanted to hang up.
"Oh, I almost forget to tell you a piece of good news. Director Liu, whom you had been very optimistic about, has been dismissed by the company. Now I’m in her position."
Listening to Wendy's pompous voice on the phone, Sofia could imagine how smug that face was.
She had thought Fitzgerald who made himself clear between personal and business matters, but she had overestimated him.
"I'm in a good mood, and I could forgive you if you pretended to be ill. Are you badly hurt? Do you want me and your future cousin-in-law to see you?"
"Well, don't worry. I'm fine. I'll come back after a couple of days rest." Sofia even didn't want to hear the voice that made her sick. Before Wendy continued to talk about something, she had hung up the phone.
In the morning, Wilson was still worried about her and took her to the hospital. Fortunately, the wound was dealt with in time yesterday, so it was not serious. Then, Wilson let Zack sent Sofia back to home.
But the shower became the most troublesome thing. The doctor told her to be careful not to get any water in the shower.
Sofia hesitated for a long time, then turned on the heat for a shower. Sofia was down to her underwear. Just as she was about to sit in the tub, the bathroom door opened.
Wilson came in and he still wore the shirt. He should have just come back.
"When did you get back?" Sofia quickly grabbed the clothes at hand to hide.
Wilson didn't seem to be going out.
"I'm ready to take a shower." Suggesting that he should go out.
"I know. Go ahead!"
"While you are here, how can I take a bath? You go out! I can do it myself."
"The doctor told you not to touch the water with your wound."
Sofia let him undo her buttons. The bath was like a century-long. Sofia looked at Wilson who seemed not to be attracted by her figure and felt disappointed.
He took the towel, wrapped her up, carried her out, and laid her on the bed, gently. He looked down at himself and saw that he was all wet.
"Tuck yourself in and don't catch a cold." Sofia nodded sullenly as he took his bathrobe to the bathroom and took a breath and sat up in bed.
Sofia looked down at her breast and touched it.
"Not bad! When did I get so out of shape that I was unattractive?" At least she was convex and warped, and she still had the size of C. How he did not respond at all?
Sofia had short dry coughs, looked through herself, her skin was white and tender, and she had a hot figure, Wilson must be too picky.
Outside the bathroom, she fretted about her lack of attraction and the person in the bathroom was depressed. Wilson, who had always been a man of self-control, almost lost his grip just now. She was not in the best shape of any woman he had ever seen.
He had been holding it in for fear that his reaction would frighten her. Fortunately, they had plenty of time.
By the time he came out of the shower, Sofia was in bed, asleep. Her white thighs were exposed, and the impulse which he had just suppressed tended to rise. His throat tightened and he stepped forward to tuck her in.
Wilson sighed and kissed her. She moved uneasily, turned around, and went back to sleep. Seeing that she was sleeping soundly, Wilson turned to his study.
Wilson was looking at the information on his desk when his phone rang. It was Calvin Gu.
"I hope I'm not disturbing your relationship with my sister-in-law." Calvin made a joke on the phone. Wilson didn't even notice the smile he couldn't suppress when he mentioned Sofia.
"It has been carried out as planned. Tomorrow you'll see the headlines, another RV subsidiary. If you want to help your wife vent her anger, how can you wait until now? It's not like your style."
Wilson said confidently, "Wouldn't it be better to push him into hell when he is at his best?"
"Never mess with you in this world. Well, I will pick up Rose." Wilson would like to remind him of Rose Shen, but they had been friends since childhood. Wilson knew how much Calvin valued his relationship with Rose.
Wilson could tolerate whatever the woman did as long as she didn't hurt Calvin.
"Well!" He still didn't get the word out but answered and hung up.
Looking at the information of Gerry Liu on the table, Wilson smiled a bleak smile.
He was too ambitious. He couldn't take over the project, but he did. In business, it was all about playing the field.
When Sofia arrived at the company, there were rumors about the company’s bankruptcy and formally merging with RV to become its subsidiary. And Gerry Liu, the boss, was in debt and broke overnight.
Sofia looked at the photos in the headlines and thought the person signing the contract looked familiar. Rumor had it that the President of the RV Group was a mysterious man who had a nickname in the business world, 'The Cold Face Death'. The man next to him was Gerry.
The picture showed Gerry being thrown by RV security guards, the President of RV, who was facing away from the camera.
Gerry was the date Leann had arranged for Sofia. Sofia was delighted to see Gerry end up like this.
