As soon as Wilson opened the door, he saw Sofia jumped up from the bed in a hurry and hided something behind her, as if she didn't want him to see it.
"It's late. Why don't you go to bed?"
Sofia found that it was already half past twelve. It was all because of Jean Chen who kept talking to her that she forgot to sleep.
"Oh! Well, I'll go to sleep now. Ha ha!" The mobile phone vibrated a few times and no longer responded. Sofia breathed a sigh of relief and put her mobile phone away.
Fortunately, Wilson didn't see it. If he saw her chat log with Jean, it would be so humiliating that the two girls didn't sleep at night to discuss such a thing.
"Chatting with someone else?" Wilson took a glance at it casually, and a dialog box popped up on the screen, which quickly dimmed. It seemed to be her confidante, Jean Chen.
He couldn't understand a woman's mind. But why did she hide it from him when she was chatting with her confidante?
"Yes! Just now, Jean couldn't sleep. She said that she didn't have inspiration to write the draft, so she talked with me for a while and went to bed." Sofia mumbled and lay aside. She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that he didn't ask any more, but her heart beat fast.
The light in the bedroom was dim, and the bed beside her sank. She didn't know if what Jean had said to her had affected her or not. She always felt nervous tonight and couldn't fall asleep.
Sofia stared at the ceiling with her eyes wide. She wanted to count the sheep and fall asleep as soon as possible, but Wilson was lying next to her. She didn't even dare to breathe loudly.
Wilson looked at her overcautious face and felt a little helpless. She seemed not to be used to it. Should he spend more time with her so that she could get used to him? After all, it was just the beginning. Now, he felt himself like a stranger.
Wilson turned sideways, and brought back the girl who had almost been on the other side of the bed. He held her in his arms.
She was thin, but when he held her in his arms, her soft body was very comfortable. Perhaps it was because she had just taken a shower that Wilson smelled a faint fragrance of flowers.
Sofia leaned in Wilson's arms and became more and more nervous. Her ears were right on his chest. Hearing his strong and powerful heartbeat, she felt very secure.
"Good night!" She didn't know why she said these two words. She was in his arms and her voice was very low. She didn't know if Wilson had heard it or not.
There was no response from him. Sofia thought that he didn't hear her. She leaned in his arms and closed her eyes slowly.
Feeling that the girl in his arms relaxed, Wilson opened his eyes, but he was afraid that the girl in his arms would wake up again. Looking down at Sofia sleeping soundly, he smiled slightly and said good night in his heart.
Sofia had a good sleep this night. As usual, when she woke up, Wilson had gone out for morning exercises. It was so cold outside, but he still insisted every day. Sofia felt cold when she thought about it. She didn't know why, but she felt very comfortable last night. Was it because he was here?
Thinking of them sleeping together at night, Sofia couldn't help smiling with sweet feeling in her heart.
Wilson still sent her downstairs every day. When her colleagues in the company saw her, they all looked at her with envy. Some of them was jealous of her and said that Sofia Pai was taken care of by an old man.
Sofia didn't care about such rumors. That was their business to say whatever they wanted. Their mouths were on them. Sofia believed that a clean hand wanted no washing. As long as she knew that she was innocent.
There was no need to explain to those who did not understand her. A wise man did not believe in rumours
Sofia got off the car and waved goodbye to Wilson. No one would know that Wilson also got off the car. Sofia thought that he had something to deal with. But this was her company. Wasn't he in a hurry to go to work today?
"What's the matter?"
"Sent you to the door." Wilson's car was parked across the road, and every time Sofia crossed the road herself. But today he got off the car.
They was standing at the crossroads. Sofia was very happy. She always felt that standing with him was very happy.
Looking at her bowing her head and giggling, Wilson didn't expose her, knowing that she was shy. When the red light turned to green, Sofia took a step, her hand was suddenly held in his palm.
Sofia looked at him in a daze. But Wilson still had no expression:"Let's go!" Sofia followed him dully, looking at his tall back taking her to cross the road.
Her eyes fell on their tightly clasped hands, and she found that his hands seemed to look good again. Did he send her here specially today?
He didn't let go until he got the door of the company.
"Go ahead! I'll take you to lunch." Wilson said, reaching out to cut the scarf around her neck. He just remembered that he came to pick her up that day and said that he would take her to buy clothes. He had been busy these days, so he had forgotten that.
"Be careful on the way." Sofia felt that what happened today was a bit unreal. She pinched her face and felt the pain. Only then did she dare to believe that it was true.
That cold Wilson was so kind to her today. She had to adapt to it. She didn't react until her colleagues said hello to her.
"Sofia, is that one just now your boyfriend? Wow, he is so handsome. You're so lucky to find such a good boyfriend. I saw he sent you to the door. You are so happy that I envy you to death. "
"No, he's not my boyfriend......" Sofia wanted to say that he was her husband, but before she finished speaking, she was interrupted by other colleagues.
"Don't deny it. We all saw that you came to work in that car every day. There were people who said that you were taken care of. That's bullshit. Your boyfriend is handsome, and he looks rich. What does he do?"
"Er......He's in business." It was business! He was indeed a businessman, and Sofia was right to say so.
"Hum! Business! The fruit seller said he was in business. What's the use of being handsome? Can he be as distinguished as Fitzgerald? It's just second-hand." Lily Wang saw that Sofia and the man were close at the door from a distance. She had to admit that the man was really handsome, but she just didn't want to be inferior to Sofia.
Sofia took a look at her. What Lily Wang said just now was not loud or low, but it was clearly heard by people around her. She clearly intended to destroy her reputation.
"Oh! Sis Wang, you don't look very well today! I think you'd better be careful. Don't be too excited. Be careful. If you stamp your feet, the powder on your face will fall off and hurt you. That's not worth the loss . "
"Who did you call Sis Wang? You dare say it again." Lily was such a temper. She liked to make trouble, and she couldn't stand stimulation. What she disliked most was being said to be old. Her age was her fatal wound.
