"Ah!" Looking at her nervousness, Wilson reached out and touched her head: "It's easy to get along with my Mom; you also have met her last time. My Grandpa is a soldier, he is usually more serious, but it must be all right. Don't you say that you are good at pleasing the elders?"
As Wilson drove in another direction, Sofia Pai started to worry. When she met Wilson's Mom last time, it was out of expectation, and she also didn't know if it would leave a poor impression that time; how could she not be nervous this time.
"If you've told me earlier, I would not have worn these clothes. Gosh, I didn't buy anything, it's impolite. Let's go to the shopping center and buy something!"
Looking at her flustered appearance, Wilson helplessly shook his head.
"It's OK. My Grandpa and Mom don't lack anything; you only need to come."
"But..."
"We're already on the freeway, don't worry, I'm here, it's OK." Seeing that Wilson looked indifferent, Sofia only could give up.
She initially thought that they're only going to see her Dad in the hospital; who would have imagined that there's still another stage.
However, Sofia saw that her father was well. Although his condition had not significantly improved, the doctor said that this situation depended on the patient's consciousness. Maybe he would wake up one day.
When Sofia saw that her father had no other problems, it was not bad to have an illusion. There's also a specialist nurse to take care of her father. From the bottom of her heart, Sofia felt moved.
When they went to sweep a grave, she specially asked her mother whether she liked this son-in-law. She felt that her mother also would like Wilson; he's so outstanding, it would be good if her Mom were still alive.
It took about an hour to drive from City Y to the old residence; Sofia was a bit bored, so she leaned on and squinted for a while. When she woke up, they were almost there.
When Sofia got off the car, she was full of a shock to see the house that looked like a castle.
"Young master, madam." Wilson led Sofia; he handed the things in his hand to the servant standing on one side and walked inside.
Sofia was in a daze. She knew that Yun's Family was wealthy, but she didn't expect that the old residence mentioned by Wilson was so big that it was like a maze.
She had followed Wilson to turn left and right for so long. Her little hand was holding him tightly, for fear that she might lose her way accidentally.
Sofia didn't adapt to such aristocratic; she always felt that she seemed incompatible with Wilson. Everything in the house had tactile quality; even the door was much better than the materials Sofia had ever seen before; she could see it with a glance.
The antique door's side was full of gold bright, and the luxurious texture made Sofia somewhat be unable to breathe. Her eyes fell on blue and white porcelain and a door handle that carved with delicate patterns.
If anyone asked her to open this door, maybe she would not even dare to touch the door handle.
"I'll show you to my Grandpa first." Feeling her maladjustment, Wilson deliberately slowed down his pace and said: "Don't be nervous, Grandpa will like you. He's always wanted to have a granddaughter-in-law. As for the rest, you'll get used to it later."
Sofia nodded and followed Wilson. After passing through a lotus pavilion and a long hallway, they finally stopped in front of an antique house.
Wilson raised his hand and knocked at the door lightly.
"Come in."
"Grandpa, we are back," Wilson said, then he led Sofia into the room.
As soon as Sofia stepped in, she saw an elder in Tang suit was sitting on the sofa aside; he's making tea.
He put down the tea set in his hand. When he looked up, his eyes twinkled with radiance; his vision fell on Sofia. After looking at her for a long time, this person seemed to be more healthy-looking than in the photo; he then nodded with satisfaction.
In his cold eyes, seldom appeared a little smiling expression: "Are you Sofia?"
Both of them came forward; he then said with a smile: "Wilson, two days ago, your mother told me that you want to bring Sofia here; I still don't believe it, unexpectedly it was true."
Who didn't know if Wilson weren't wholehearted, he wouldn't bring a woman back to the old residence. Moreover, when he got married, everyone in Yun's Family knew that Grandpa forced him to get married. It's hard to guarantee that he randomly cope with a woman. Still, unexpectedly he brought her back to the old residence.
That's why when everyone saw Wilson leaded Sofia in, they inevitably looked a few times at her.
At this time, Grandpa's eyes fell on Sofia with a whole new level of respect; he underestimated her. She could subdue his arrogant and cold Grandson; it quietly made him felt moved.
Looking at their two tightly clasped hands, Grandpa nodded with satisfaction and laughed a few times happily. It was the first time that Wilson had seen his Grandpa laughed so much.
"Grandpa!" Sofia called out sweetly: "Grandpa is more energetic than I imagined; you must have exercised every day."
The three of them sat together; Grandpa asked with a smile: "How do you know that I often exercise?"
"Your voice is loud and powerful, you looked very energetic, and your step is strong and powerful. If you don't keep exercising every day, how could you have such a good spirit? Now I understand that Wilson has morning exercise habits because you influenced him."
"I'm old. I'm eighty-one."
Sofia continued with a smile: "How is it possible? I see that Grandpa is more energetic than me."
"Really?"
"I've never lied; you're so energetic now; you still can wait and see your great-grandson's marriage."
Grandpa was so happy; he poured tea for the two younger generations. His eyes fell on Sofia, and said with a smile: "It depends on you and Wilson. When will I have a great-grandson?"
Sofia was in a daze; she didn't expect that she flattered too much. She mentioned an embarrassing topic; she blushed and didn't know how to answer it.
Wilson put his arm around Sofia's waist from behind and said without a second thought: "Soon, I'll give Grandpa a surprise."
Grandpa nodded with satisfaction; Wilson's marriage had always been a worry in his heart. Because of Wilson's childhood experience, he had always worried that this child would have a fear of marriage.
Now he was relieved to see that he got married and had a good life.
Sofia chatted a lot with Grandpa. Wilson looked at his Grandpa, who usually didn't like to talk. Today, however, he was so talkative. He helplessly shook his head and quietly listening on the side; he only answered two sentences from time to time.
After a long time, he got up and said that he would take Sofia to meet his mother.
"Alright! Let's have dinner after that." They nodded and then turned away.
