Chapter 17 Wait and See

Susanna Su and Carson Chen were not seriously injured. They only stayed in the hospital for two days and then went back. During that time, her mother-in-law came several times and criticized Carson. She persuaded Susanna not to do dangerous things because her life mattered. Susanna would have been moved if she knew nothing. But now what she said sickened her. Sure enough, like mother, like son.
