Susanna Su didn't know why she came here. She thought she needed to talk to Carson's parents. Perhaps they treated her as their daughter, so she subconsciously wanted to ask for their help when she was confused and helpless.
When she parked the car and was about to go upstairs, she saw Carson and his mother sitting in the garden of the community.
They turned their back to Susanna, so they didn't notice her.
Slowly, Susanna walked towards them and was going to say something, but she stopped as she heard something from Carson's mother.
"A few days ago, Coco came here and told me that her mother seemed a little unhappy these days. Does Susanna find out something?"
Hearing it, Susanna stopped and looked at them in disbelief.
"It doesn't matter. I said something wrong that day, but Daisy has helped me deceive her. Therefore, I went to the sanatorium yesterday on purpose to make her feel at ease."
"Don't be so arrogant. I don't know what will happen if she knows that you have an affair."
"……"
Susanna didn't hear what they were talking about in the following as she felt her whole world collapsed.
She always thought that she was the luckiest woman in the world. Her husband loved her. Her parents in law spoiled her, and she had a best friend who would always be on her side.
But at the moment, she found that she had nothing. The so-called happiness was just an illusory bubble, which could be broken at once. They cheated on her and played her like a fool!
Anger, disappointment, and hatred filled her heart in an instant.
Susanna felt her heart had broken into pieces, taking a deep breath, she took out her phone with trembling hands and dialed Yoyo's number.
"Figure out who that woman is. I want all the evidence. If you do well, I'll double the money."
Hanging up the phone, she dialed Laurence Fu, "Hello, Mr. Fu. I've made up my mind. Please prepare the relevant materials for me. I'll send you the evidence as soon as possible."
Perhaps Laurence sensed the tremble and determination in her voice, so he didn't say anything and told her to investigate Carson's assets.
Susanna felt her mind was empty. It was hard for her to keep sanity at the moment, so she requested Yoyo to deal with it. After that, she bent over the steering wheel, tears streaming down her cheeks. The most painful thing was to cry silently.
Time passed as a ruthless monster. Susanna didn't know how long she had cried until she touched her phone. As if she thought of something, she wiped her tears and called Daisy.
"Why are you calling me now? Do you miss me, Sweetie?"
The phone connected, and Daisy's warm voice sounded, but Susanna felt extremely disgusted.
"You knew that Carson had an affair, right?"
Daisy's voice suddenly stopped. Even though Susanna was mentally prepared, she still felt heartbroken at this moment, "Why? You are my best friend, but you lied to me with him!!"
Susanna roared. If Daisy were in front of her, she would slap her without hesitation.
"Yes. I wanted to tell you, but everyone knows your personality. You are too stubborn. If I tell you, your family will be broken up." Daisy explained on the other end of the line.
"So you helped him lie to me?" Susanna asked with a sneer.
Perhaps irritated by her tone, Daisy became a little impatient, "Well, you should blame yourself for not being able to grasp your husband. Besides, it's not my fault. Why are you always aimed at me?"
Daisy's words made Susanna almost lose her mind. Susanna believed that she was a smart woman in the business community. Although she couldn't master everyone's thought, she could understand most of them.
But at the moment, Susanna felt that she was such a loser that she didn't even see the true colors of her husband and best friend.
Hearing no response from the other end of the phone, Daisy felt that she had gone too far. Therefore, she took a deep breath,
"It's not a big deal. You'd better turn a blind eye to it. You don't have to take it seriously. Otherwise, you will suffer in the end."
Hearing such words, Susanna snorted, "I only have one question. Who is that woman?"
