"Hai Zheng, there are already more than four hundred replies to the post, and the number is increasing rapidly, so I'm afraid ...... that the whole school will soon be aware of this matter." The Skinny roommate said.
"Just shut up! Shut up!" Hai Zheng shouted at the skinny man.
At this time Hai Zheng's eyes turned red, and his entire body was about to explode. If this incident became known throughout the school, how could he still face others in the future?
Hai Zheng only felt that he was about to go crazy.
"Bastard! Josh, Jane. It must have something to do with you guys! If you dare to destroy me, I will make you pay for it!" Hai Zheng shouted madly.
......
6:20 p.m.
In front of the entrance of Qingyang University.
"Josh, here." Jane, who was standing at the entrance, waved at Josh with a sweet smile.
"You're here so early." Josh said as he walked up to Jane.
Their appointment was set at 6:30 pm, and it was now ten minutes before the appointment time. Josh had originally thought that he should arrive just ten minutes earlier.
Josh did not expect that Jane would come even earlier than he did.
"Just in case keep you waiting." Jane said with a gentle smile.
Josh was startled after hearing her words, which shook Josh.
"Jane, there are really very few girls who are as considerate as you are, who can think of boys so well." Josh couldn't help but say.
When Josh used to be in love with Faye, Josh would arrive earlier for every date, but Faye would almost be a little late, sometimes even more than half an hour.
And she said that it was normal for girls to be half an hour late for a date and that guys should wait.
When Josh thought about it now, and knew Faye and Jane were simply not the same. Jane was afraid that she would keep him waiting for a long time, and arrived so early. She was really a very considerate girl.
When Jane heard Josh said that she was considerate, she blushed.
"Let's go. I'm looking forward to your cooking." Josh said with a smile.
Jane usually went home by bus, which was the most economical way of transportation, so Josh followed Jane and took the bus home together.
Josh was once also a poor boy, and once also often took the bus home, so he was naturally used to it.
On the bus.
Jane suddenly reached out her hand, pulled Josh at the corner of the coat, and then covered her mouth and laughed.
"Josh, that live show about Hai Zheng has something to do with you. Isn’t it?"
Jane knew that live-streaming was a bet that Josh has made with Hai Zheng, and the sudden appearance of Hai Zheng's live-streaming posting, in Jane’ opinion, was definitely not uploaded by Hai Zheng voluntarily.
Instead, Hai Zheng should have resisted with all his might.
So, who could have forced Hai Zheng to live-stream? Jane could only think of Josh.
"Did you see it too?" Josh laughed.
"I don't want to watch that kind of video, because I'm afraid I won't be able to eat, but it spreads all over the school, so of course I know." Jane said.
After hestitating, Jane was curious.
"Josh, I'm really curious what did you do to make that Hai Zheng actually make such a live broadcast? That should be hard."
"Well, keep it a secret." Josh grinned.
Josh didn't want to reveal his identity to Jane yet, so Josh couldn't say anything about the method he used.
As for the reason why Josh didn't want to reveal his identity, it was simple: Josh was afraid that Jane would be keep away from him when she learned of his true identity.
More importantly, Josh wanted to spend ordinary time with Jane, and the friendship in such a situation was the realest and the most valuable.
"Alright."
When Jane saw that Josh didn't say anything, she didn't ask any further questions, but she felt Josh might have some secrets.
The bus was very slow, ran for over an hour before it arrived at Jane's house.
Jane’s home was in an old district built in the nineties.
Upon entering the district.
"Josh, I was supposed to treat you to dinner in a restaurant, but I let you come to my home for a meal. You don't mind, do you?" Jane asked.
It wasn't that Jane didn't want to invite Josh to a restaurant, but it was just that she didn't have the money and she couldn't afford to invite Josh to eat in the restaurant.
"Of course not. Rather than going to a restaurant, I want to eat your dishes more than anything else. You can show your sincerity more by cooking for me yourself, right?" Josh smiled.
"Yeah." Jane nodded and put her mind at ease at the same time.
"My house is just there." Jane pointed ahead.
As soon as she reached the door, the next door suddenly opened, and a middle-aged woman in pajamas came out, carrying a bag of garbage in her hand, and apparently preparing to throw away the garbage.
"Wow, Jane, why did you bring a strange man home?" The middle-aged woman looked Josh up and down.
"Aunt Li, he's my classmate." Jane replied.
"Your classmate? No. He looks rather like your guest. Jane you are too disrespectful. How can you bring your guests to your home?" The middle-aged woman acted as if she was educating a child.
After hearing such words, Jane became anxious.
"Aunt Li! How could you slander me like that! I'm not that kind of person!" Jane retorted with an aggrieved face.
Josh also frowned.
This middle-aged woman was insulting himself as a guest, which Josh could endure, but the implication of her words was that she was also indirectly insulting Jane as a prostitute, which made Josh unable to stand!
"Jane, don't argue with me. I know you entertain customers to make money. Auntie understands you."
The middle-aged woman put on a posture of kindness, but her tone was sarcastic.
"Auntie Li, you ...... you ......"
The more Jane listened, the more aggrieved she became, and her eyes turned a little red. And she was about to cry out.
Josh finally couldn't stand by anymore.
"Why are you doing like this! You are at least a neighbor of Jane. Do you think it's good that you smear a girl's innocence like this?" Josh frowned.
"Boy, how dare you argue with me in that tone! Do you know who my daughter is?" The middle-aged woman looked at Josh with a domineering face.
"I don't care who your daughter is. You’d better not provoke me, or else you won't be able to bear the consequences!" Josh stared at the middle-aged woman with narrowed eyes.
"I can't afford it? Lol. Such a jock. How dare you to say in this way?" The middle-aged woman held her chest and looked Josh up and down.
She saw that Josh was dressed so shabbily and was obviously a poor boy, so she didn't take Josh seriously at all.
"Josh, don't argue with her." Jane pulled Josh.
Although Jane was grieving, she hadn't received much grievance over the years, so she was able to hold on.
When Josh saw Jane pulling himself, he stopped arguing.
If Jane hadn't pulled him, Josh would have wanted to slap on her face.
But the middle-aged woman didn't stop there.
"Jane, you're in the same year as our Lingling, but you're really far from her. My Lingling is now a manager now. Look how are you now?" The middle-aged woman said sarcastically.
The middle-aged woman was clearly showing off her daughter before Jane, as well as belittling and mocking Jane.
"Aunt Li, I still have things to do. I'm going home now."
Jane gritted her teeth after saying this, and then took out the key to open the door. Jane did not want to bother with the middle-aged woman anymore.
At this time, the door at the other side opened, and another figure appeared.
Josh took a closer look. She was a young woman wearing heavy makeup, high heels and very revealing clothes. She was kind of charming.
"Lingling, ready to go to work?" The middle-aged woman smiled and said to the young woman.
Apparently, this young woman who came out of the house was the daughter of the middle-aged woman, and should be the Lingling that the middle-aged woman had just talked about.
After the young woman Lingling saw Jane and Josh, she was stunned for a moment, and then she smiled.
"Wow, Jane. You bring your boyfriend back?"
"He must not be a boyfriend but a guest instead." The middle-aged woman said in a sarcastic manner.
Lingling couldn't help but cover her mouth at the words.
"Mom, don't talk nonsense. This man is dressed so shabbily, so I'm afraid he can't even afford the money. How can he be a guest? He obviously wants to take it for free in the name of dating."
"That's right." The middle-aged woman nodded.
Lingling looked at Jane again and said with a disdainful smile.
"Jane, since we are still friends, I advise you that don't look for this kind of poor boy as your boyfriend. He has no bright future."
