"Sure. I'll have her over here.” Sang Wu nodded repeatedly.
Then, Sang Wu turned to a waiter and said, "You quickly tell Lingling to come here."
"Yes, Mr. Wu." After the waiter nodded, he turned and left in a hurry.
Jane Wang, who was on the side, was very confused after seeing this. She had only seen Josh Lin take out a card, but why did Sang Wu become so respectful?
Of course, Jane didn't know the VIP card. In her eyes, it was nothing more than a rather fine looking bank card. If she knew the card, maybe she would be shocked.
"Could you tell me your name, sir?" Sang asked with a smile on his face
"I'm Josh Lin," Josh said quietly.
"Josh?" the boss was confused. He felt like he'd heard that name mentioned recently, but he couldn't remember who he was.
Just then, Lingling walked over quickly.
"Mr. Wu." Lingling bowed to Sang.
At this time, Lingling was confident. She was able to become the bar manager because she had an affair with her boss, Sang Wu.
"Lingling, tonight you need serve the two noble guests." Sang said.
Lingling was reluctant. "Mr. Wu, you want me to serve them? I'm a manager, not a barmaid." Lingling looked angry.
"Of course I know that, but you just serve them for once today, okay?" Sang said.
"No!" Lingling pursed her lips, her tone resolute.
To Lingling, letting her serve Jane was something that she was deadly unwilling to do.
Sang's face darkened after hearing her words.
“I'll say it again. You must serve them here tonight." Sang said in a cold voice.
"Mr. Wu, they're definitely not very wealthy. Why are you trying to please them?" Lingling retorted.
As soon as Lingling finished her sentence, Mr. Wu slapped her directly in the face.
She looked at him with an incredulous face. She didn't think her boss would hit her for Josh and Jane. And she knew that Jane was sitting right next to her, watching her. The fact that she got slapped in front of Jane made her feel even more humiliated.
Right after that, Mr. Wu pointed at her and said viciously.
"You bitch. You should be honored that Mr. Lin let you serve him. Don't forget that I give your position. You have to do whatever I tell you to do. Today you must serve them."
Lingling cried sadly. However, Mr. Wu didn't stop.
“Don't forget you traded your body for a manager's position. If you don't obey my orders, you get out of here now!" Mr. Wu cursed.
Jane at the side couldn't help but cover her mouth in surprise. She didn't expect Lingling to do this in exchange for her manager's position.
Lingling felt even more humiliated when she heard Mr Wu say this.
"Please stop. I’ll do it." Lingling could only nod. She knew she had no choice.
"What a bitch." Mr. Wu said in a cold voice.
In Mr. Wu's eyes, Lingling was nothing more than a plaything, and Josh was most likely someone he couldn't offend. He certainly wouldn't offend Josh for Lingling .
Then Mr. Wu continued, "Try your best to serve the two guests. If they are not satisfied with your service, you get out of here, understand?"
"Yes, sir.” Lingling nodded reluctantly.
Then Mr. Wu looked at Josh with a smile on his face and said, "Mr. Lin, if you need anything, you can have the waiter come and call me."
Josh waved his hand at him and motioned for him to leave.
"Why are you still standing there? Get over here and pour the wine!" Josh said coldly.
She bowed her head and then she poured drinks for Josh and Jane.
It was then that she accidentally saw the bank card that Josh had placed on the table.
Lingling immediately recognized the card as the firm's Diamond VIP card. In a split second, she had mixed emotions. She knew that a person who could have such a card was either rich or wealthy.
She finally realized Josh was a rich man. "I can't believe Jane have such a rich boyfriend." She thought.
She was jealous of Jane and even hated her, but there was nothing she could do about it.
As Lingling poured Jane's drink, Jane suddenly said, "I didn't realize you traded your body for a manager's position. Is it worth it?"
Lingling just smiled bitterly and didn't reply.
Jane used to feel inferior when she saw Lingling, but from now on, she didn't feel that way anymore.
Moreover, after what had just happened, she let out her anger.
"You traded your body for the manager's position. and you're still showing it off. Where do you get the courage to do that?" Josh said despicably.
Lingling's face flushed with shame after she heard that. Her sense of superiority in front of Jane had disappeared completely.
"I just give you a little punishment today. Go back and tell your mother not to taunt Jane, or I'll make her pay for what she did." Josh said with narrowed eyes.
"I know." Ling's voice trembled as she nodded.
She knew it was easy for Josh to deal with her. From now on, she would never dare to taunt Jane again.
......
Josh and Jane's faces were slightly red after they came out of the bar.
Neither of them usually drank much, but they had just finished the louis xiii cognac and Lafite at the bar.
Jane didn't see Josh pay cash at the checkout, so she didn't know how expensive the two bottles of wine were, otherwise she was shocked.
Then Josh took Jane home in a taxi.
When she arrived at Jane's door, Jane said happily, "Josh, thank you. I really had a great time today!"
Next, Jane walked up to Josh, stood on her tiptoes, and kissed Josh on the cheek.
After the kiss, Jane, who was shy, turned around and ran into the house in a hurry.
Josh watched Jane's back as she disappeared and touched his cheek where he had been kissed. He just felt a special feeling in his heart.
......
The next morning, instead of going to school, Josh headed straight to the Huading Group.
Josh had figured out the situation of Jane's family yesterday, so he definitely wanted to help her.
However, Josh didn't want to take money directly to Jane because Jane might refuse his offer.
So, what Josh thought of was to ask Bob Liu to go to Jane's house and helped Jane's mother arrange for hospital treatment in the name of Huading Group's charity, and then give Jane a sum of money. This would help Jane without letting her know who he was, and he didn’t worry that that she would refuse.
"Chairman Lin, good morning." The two security guards at the door greeted to Josh respectfully as he entered the company.
"Good morning." Josh said. He didn't leave right away, but patted the security guards on the shoulders before entering the company.
The two security guards were thrilled to be treated this way by Josh. They were just security guards in a lowly position. In the past, company executives wouldn't have paid them so much attention.
