After the meal, it was getting late.
Bright lights lit up the whole street.
They enjoyed the rare happy family time, chatting all way long.
Fiona Zhou and Mom Zhou walked in the front, whispering something. Ting Yu took Richie Lin and Angel Chu behind them.
"Uncle, do I have to go to school tomorrow?" Ting asked in a low voice, afraid that Mrs. Zhou would hear.
"Yes, I knew Ting has been looking forward to making new friends!" Richie comforted her.
Ting yearned for going to school very much. She longed for the little folks who could go to school with their bags on the back. But she was a little scared about the new environment.
Ting said awkwardly, "that's true, but I'm just a little scared."
"what if someone will hit us again tomorrow?"
Richie patted his forehead speechlessly.
Walking on the street, the noisy traffic on the road made people feel comfortable and relaxed.
Suddenly, Ting noticed that Angel was left alone.
She waited for her and took her hand.
"Look, we just like a family. Auntie is mom, uncle is Dad, and I am the baby." Then she excitedly pulled the two forward.
Mom Zhou and Fiona burst into laughter.
As soon as they went back to the villa, Ting asked to watch TV, and Angel accompanied her. She was not that shy as she came here for the first time. Back then, she would lock herself in the room all day long.
Richie was surprised to see Angel watch TV with Ting in blue pajama.
It was lovely.
"You didn't work overtime today?" Angel drew his attention, so Rachie immediately changed the topic.
Angel blushed, a little annoyed and delighted.
"Well, not in a hurry." She stole a glance at Richie and then said with embarrassment, "Can you be my model if you are not busy? "
Richie heard her whisper.
"Well, it's my honor to be a model for Miss Chu." Richie joked.
Angel rolled her eyes at him, fetching all the props in her room.
"Take off your clothes." Angel was much more serious when she worked.
Richie was stunned. Didn't he go to try on the clothes? He didn't know and didn't dare to ask more.
Richie thought that his job was just trying them.
He took off her coat.
"Take off all your clothes on the upper." Angel continued, but her face flushed.
Richie took off his shirt, revealing a well-carved figure like a sculpture, but this nearly perfect body was covered with scars.
Even if Angel had never experienced a war, she could tell some were bullet hols, and others were cut by the knives.
How cruel had this handsome and tall man experienced to survive?
Lost in her own thoughts, she couldn't help reaching out her fingers and gently stroking them.
Richie didn't resist. He didn't know what to do now. He saw the emotional girl was filled with tears.
After a while, Angel suddenly came to her sense. She blushed, trying to ease the embarrassment, "you have a nice figure. It's enough for now."
Then she began to measure around Richie with a tape.
Angel was standing on the sofa; she felt his breath as she measured his chest.
It was subtle; Angel looked up to meet his gentle gaze.
"Auntie, can I sleep with you today?"
The sweet and romantic atmosphere was blown away by the sudden words.
Angel loosened her arms in a hurry and answered, "Okay, okay." Then she recorded all the values in her notebook.
"Thank you. Thank you for your cooperation. I'm taking Ting to rest." Without waiting for Richie's answer, she pulled Ting back to her room.
She slammed the door, leaving bare-armed Richie standing in the hall, dumbfounded.
Richie complained out; as soon as he reminded the sweet smile, he blushed.
Early in the morning.
Richie left home early. He had an appointment with Fiona.
Today was the third anniversary of the death of Vincent Zhou.
Afraid of being discovered by Mom Zhou, they sneaked out.
On their way to the park.
Staying away from the hustle and bustle of the city, they embraced the tranquility of nature.
Groups of birds flew and chirped from time to time.
It took a long drive to the cemetery.
An old man came to ask which area they were heading.
"Which area?"
Fiona was a little depressed, answering slowly. "Area D12."
"Zhou's Family?" The old man's face changed, and then he shouted, "No one is allowed to worship them.Get out of here! "
The sudden change of his attitude stunned Richie and others. Why did he say that?
"Sir, I've been here for three years. I just want to see my father and brother. I'll leave after that." Fiona pleaded.
Perhaps Fiona knew the reason. It was cruel enough not to let his family clean the tombs in three years.
The old man looked around and found no one around. He said in a low voice, "hurry up and go. If those people find you later, you will have trouble."
Then he pretended to shout, "go to the wrong area. Don't block the car behind."
Only then did everyone understand what he meant. He was trying to help them.
"Yes, Sir. Don't worry. We won't get you into trouble. Just tell us we rushed in." After that, the car started again and rushed.
The old man had no choice but to take out his walkie talkie and said, "Captain Zhang, someone rushed in and went to Zhou's cemetery."
A lazy voice came from the other end of the intercom, and he scolded angrily, "you old bastard, you are useless. I'll fix this."
