Vincent Zhou!
The resplendent private room was in silence. The people who were toasting, laughing, froze.
The footsteps approach stopped everyone's breath.
Caspar Jiang looked nervous, swallowing hard.
The staff pushed the door open.
A tall and handsome young man came in.
Everyone looked at him and exhaled. This man was about the same age, but not Vincent Zhou.
Everyone was amused by their worries.
Vincent had been dead for three years. How could he appear here?
"Who are you?" Someone asked.
The crowd looked at him up and down for a long time. This person was very familiar, but they couldn't remember who he was.
But surely that he was not their classmate.
The people started to whisper.
Richie Lin didn't care about the gazes of the crowd. After so many years, few people could recognize him.
"Long time no see, everyone." Richie greeted politely.
Everyone was lost in their memories. Who was this person?
"Are... Are you the follower of Vincent?" A soft female voice came.
Richie looked around curiously and saw a young woman with fair skin and bright eyes staring at him. Her face was full of surprise.
"Long time no see, Jane," Richie said with a smile.
She was Vincent's classmate, older than Richie.
Jane Meng was among the few people who were willing to talk with Richie when he was a beggar.
"It's really you." Jane's eyes lit up with joy.
At the mention of Vincent's follower, the image of the little beggar appeared in everyone's mind.
Looking at Richie now, people were amazed and couldn't believe it.
Richie found an empty seat and sat down. After glancing around, his gaze landed on Caspar, who was staring at him.
"We haven't seen each other for more than ten years, have we?" Jane stood up, left the seat next to Caspar, and sat by Richie.
Richie was puzzled, but she smiled and waited for an answer.
For a moment, Richie felt the sharp eyesight from Caspar. Richie suddenly understood that the simple sister, Jane, had changed into a naughty woman. She was taking advantage of him to keeping away from Caspar.
He ignored it and gave a defiant glance at Caspar.
Richie said to Jane, "yes, it has been twelve years."
He had left Jin City at the age of twelve and cut off contact with the outside world after entering the North Force. It had been twelve years since then.
How time flew, they had changed a lot.
Richie couldn't help but sigh.
"You have changed so much. You were thin and weak when you were a child! Now you look really different. You are tall and handsome. Did you have a girlfriend? Let me introduce one to you. "Jane teased Rachie like an elder sister.
Caspar looked at the two chatting happily, turning gloomy.
Everyone knew that he had been pursuing Jane since childhood. So they helped to match them, even the seats were side by side.
Now, Jane left him alone, chatting happily with the beggar.
He gave a hint to his companion.
His partner understood and looked at Richie.
"Beggar, this is not the place you should come to. Just get out of here."
A sudden clamor interrupted the reminiscence between Richie and Jane.
Looking at the direction of the voice, it was a slightly thin man with shifty eyes. He was also a classmate of Vincent; his name was Bob Wang.
"Bob, what are you talking about! He grew up with Vincent. He came here for Vincent, is there anything wrong? "Jane retorted.
Jane tried to defend Richie, but everyone looked at her in confusion.
Jane, who had always been cold and indifferent, scolded Bob for a beggar.
Bob was a henchman of Caspar; it was apparent she was scolding Caspar.
"Haha, he even came to see us on behalf of Vincent. Don't be so disgusting. He is just a beggar! Vincent, that loser is dead and haunts us all the time. He asks his dog to disgust us. "
Bob said viciously, and Caspar beside him seemed to be very happy.
"Bob, don't go too far. Insulting your classmate who once helped you won't raise yourself up. Instead, it's shameful." Jane continued.
Vincent once helped Bob.
Bob's face turned red. He was embarrassed to be mentioned in front of his classmates.
He turned to Richie again.
"Beggar, I tell you to get out of here, or don't blame me for being rude."
"It's not that easy to leave then." With a vicious look on his face, he stared at Richie.
Jane was a little embarrassed. She knew Caspar ordered Bob to insult Richie. His intention was to prevent Richie from approaching her.
But even so, they were too vicious to curse a dead classmate.
Jane was also worried that it would bring trouble to Richie.
"Sorry to trouble you." She said in a low voice.
Then she stood up and was about to leave Richie.
But as soon as she got up, Richie pulled her back to her seat.
In astonishment, Jane saw Richie laughing.
"Jane, you can sit wherever you want. Don't worry." Richie glanced at Bob.
Bob's heart tightened at the sight of death.
"Bob, Vincent has helped you and your family many times. Don't you think it's too much to say that he is a loser? "
Richie picked up the glass on the table, took a sip, and said softly.
"How dare you humiliate me? I can kill you immediately!" Bob threatened.
Hearing this, Richie smiled and said expressionlessly, "I don't think you and your master are qualified to do that."
Bob's face darkened, and Caspar was irritated.
