They were just a couple in name only. He didn't want her to care for him even if he was drunk. Who knew if she would take advantage of him while he was drunk?
"I'm thirty years old, and I still haven't given up my first kiss. Not to mention maintaining a clean body."
He never expected love.
Grandma always scolded him as a heartless man who didn't understand emotions. But it was also because he didn't expect love that he married Mila Hai under her repeated persuasion to satisfy and stop her nagging.
After searching everywhere, William Zhan couldn't find the key to the house. He said, "... Luca, it's better to wake up your eldest mistress."
He forgot to take the house keys with him when he left.
The bodyguard immediately knocked on the door.
Mila Hai was asleep, but she was in a light sleep. She heard the knock on the door. She woke up and listened quietly. Someone was indeed knocking on the door. She got up quickly and was about to open the door. Remembering that she was in pyjamas, she grabbed a winter coat from the closet, put it on, and opened the door.
When the door opened, William Zhan and Luca were stunned to see Mila Hai wearing a thick winter coat.
It was October, and though the mornings and evenings were slightly more relaxed, the days were still quite hot.
"Why are you wearing such a heavy winter coat?"
"Hello, I'm driving for you. Your husband is drunk, so I'll send him up."
Luca reacted quickly and lied first, then handed William Zhan and the car keys to Mila Hai.
Mila Hai felt like she was supporting a cow; he was so heavy!
"Thank you, sir."
Mila Hai thanked Luca, and he quickly left.
After closing and locking the door, Mila Hai helped William Zhan, who was unsteady on his feet, and said with disgust, "Why did you drink so much wine? You smell of alcohol all over your body."
William Zhan said nothing, complaining in his heart. It was because of her!
Throwing the car keys on the coffee table, Mila Hai helped William Zhan to the door of his room, then let go of his hand and said, "It's mentioned in your agreement that your room is my forbidden area, and I won't go in. Come on, go in by yourself. Don’t take a shower yet, and take showers when you get up tomorrow. Now that you are so drunk, I’m afraid you might drown yourself in the bathtub if you take a shower.”
William Zhan opened the door by himself and then stumbled inside. After walking a few steps, he stopped, turned slowly, and said to Mila Hai, "...Cold dog, I don't know when it's hot. It’s so hot, and you’re wearing such a thick coat.”
He thought he was so drunk that his vision was blurry.
"I didn't have time to change, so I took a coat and put it on and came out to open the door for you."
Mila Hai explained and helped him close the door.
A "bang" sound isolated the couple.
When Mila Hai returned to her room, she couldn't wait to remove her coat and muttered, "It's too hot for me."
After she left, William Zhan was silent for a moment, then stumbled back to the bed, fell, struggled to maintain his small territory, and finally fell asleep, allowing him to sleep peacefully.
Soon, he fell into deep sleep.
The next day, when he woke up, it was already noon.
He hadn't turned on the air conditioner last night and had slept like this all night. When he woke up, he suddenly felt that he smelled of alcohol and sweat. Being a bit of a germaphobe, he couldn't help but rush into the bathroom and vomit. Then he took a quick shower.
Coming out of the bathroom, he felt refreshed and back to normal.
Thinking of being drunk last night, William Zhan swore he would never let himself get drunk again.
Fortunately, he had signed an agreement with Mila Hai before going out. She hadn't taken advantage of him while he was drunk. She had kept her word.
He didn’t know if he was right or wrong in writing such an agreement.
But now that it was signed let’s leave it at that.
William Zhan felt hungry after his mood returned to calm.
William Zhan picked up the piece of paper,...
