"That foreign force shouldn't be underestimated," the elderly man at the head said with a faint smile.
"It would be troublesome if they were led to the capital. The real issue is that we still have many problems to resolve."
"Anyway, that kid in Dongzhou doesn't have much to do. Let him put in some effort to deal with these nuisances. It can be seen as a way to sharpen his skills!"
"You're just an old fox!" The elderly man named Tang responded with a speechless look.
"If that kid finds out that you're scheming against him like this, be careful if he storms into your office to settle the score. Don't look for me then!"
"Haha, maybe he'll have to thank me in the future, who knows!" The elderly man at the head smiled faintly.
"Alright, that's enough. You should worry more about that kid."
At the same time, in Dongzhou.
"Viola, my dear, have you had breakfast?" Randy Ling held Viola in his arms.
"I have, Daddy. Grandma made yummy breakfast!" Viola nodded enthusiastically.
After Randy Ling and Sherod Lu had breakfast, they drove to Arabella Qin's house, with Sherod Lu bringing several more toys with him.
"Dad!" As soon as they entered the door, Viola ran over.
"Good girl!" Randy Ling smiled and pointed at Sherod Lu. "This is Uncle Lu. He bought all your toys. Say thank you to Uncle Lu."
"Thank you, Uncle Lu!" Viola said.
"Did you also thank Grandma?" Randy Ling asked with a smile.
"Of course!" Viola nodded in response.
"Uncle, aunt, good morning!" Randy Ling then looked at Nohe Qin and Davina Shen and greeted them.
"Good morning, brother-in-law!" Lucinda Qin greeted with a smile.
"Viola, good girl, you're very welcome!" Sherod Lu smiled and put down the toy he was holding. "Viola, would you like to play with your toys with me?"
"Really? That's awesome!" Viola ran out of Randy Ling's arms.
"Brother-in-law, you said you know a lot of people. When I graduate, can you help me find a good job?"
"You're still studying?" Randy Ling paused. "Don't worry, I'll take care of it!"
"Good morning, Lucinda!" Randy Ling responded with a smile, then asked, "Lucinda, are you working now?"
"I'm studying in Jianghai City, and I'll graduate in one semester. It's vacation now, and I'll be returning to school soon!" Lucinda Qin replied with a smile.
"Lucinda Qin, don't just casually call him brother-in-law!" Davina Shen glared at her.
"What's the fuss? My sister admitted it herself yesterday!" Lucinda Qin stuck out her tongue.
"Lucinda Qin, don't be ridiculous!" Arabella Qin scolded upon hearing this.
"Hehe, it's settled, thank you, brother-in-law!" Lucinda Qin said with a smile.
"There's nothing going on here in Dongzhou, and I have to go back to Yun City to find a job. Grandpa definitely won't let me work in the company." Arabella Qin replied.
"Uh..." Randy Ling knew that the others still didn't believe what he had said the day before, so he continued after a short pause, "Then let's leave a bit later!"
"Please spend more time with Viola today. We plan to return to Yun City in the afternoon."
"Going back so soon?" Randy Ling was slightly surprised.
"Dad, come and play with us. These toys that Uncle Lu bought are so much fun." Viola turned around and sweetly called out.
"Alright!" Randy Ling smiled and walked over.
"Very well! Please spend more time with Viola!" Arabella Qin thought Randy Ling was reluctant to part with his daughter.
"Okay!" Randy Ling didn't explain any further.
A few minutes later, Randy Ling and the others went downstairs.
When they reached the entrance of the building, they saw a large crowd gathered in the open space, all wearing happy expressions.
"Davina! Are you at home?" After a moment, a voice called from downstairs. "Come down quickly!"
"Huh?" Davina Shen was taken aback.
She then looked at the people behind her and asked loudly, "What's going on? What happened?"
"Davina, please don't pretend to be unaware. You've done a great favor for all of us. We really don't know how to thank you!" Aunt Zhang burst into tears as she stood up.
"Davina, thank you, thank you!" Everyone knelt down at the same time after seeing Nohe Qin's family.
"Aunt Zhang, please get up quickly!" Davina Shen quickly helped the elderly woman to her feet.
"They not only reimbursed us for the price difference but also gave us an additional 200,000 yuan as compensation for the mental distress!"
"What!?" Davina Shen exclaimed, and her two sisters, Nohe Qin and Arabella Qin, were also shocked.
"Aunt Zhang, please tell us what happened first," Davina Shen continued to inquire.
"Nohe, the people from Dongquan Company came to us door-to-door early this morning," a middle-aged woman explained.
Could it really be him?
Randy Ling glanced at a family who was watching from a distance. He pretended not to notice them and squatted down to play with Viola.
The four of them couldn't help but turn their heads to look at Randy Ling.
They all clearly remembered that Randy Ling had said the previous day that he would have a friend handle the situation.
"Nohe, Davina, thank you so much. With this money, we'll never be homeless again." An elderly man looked at the two with a grateful expression.
"Uncle Wang, you're welcome. We're all neighbors, and we just helped out a little bit." Nohe Qin took a deep breath and replied.
"Aunt Zhang, how did you know it was us who helped?" Nohe Qin asked.
"Nohe, the property developer mentioned that the reason they did this was entirely because of your family. They told us to thank you." a middle-aged man replied.
"I thought I'd have to live on the streets from now on, but I didn't expect things to take such a big turn. We're naturally very happy," another middle-aged woman added.
"Davina, this is a small token of appreciation from each of our families. Please accept it. Don't take it too lightly."
"For you, it might be insignificant, but for us, it's our lifeline!" the elderly man said with tears in his eyes.
Many elderly people live in this community, including several couples who have lost their only child.
Gasp!
Davina Shen took a sharp breath. There were bundles of cash inside the bag, likely worth at least several hundred thousand yuan.
At this moment, a middle-aged man handed Davina Shen a woven bag he was carrying.
"What's this?" Davina Shen accepted the woven bag and examined it.
"No, no, I can't accept this." Davina Shen hesitated and then handed the bag back.
"Davina, this is a small token of appreciation from each of our families. You must accept it," Aunt Zhang insisted.
"Thank you for your kindness. We appreciate your gratitude!" Nohe Qin looked at the woven bag and said loudly.
"But we absolutely cannot accept this money. Please take it back!"
