Davina Shen retorted, "Didn't Arabella just tell you on the phone? Do you want me to repeat it?" She responded with a cold edge.
"It's not impossible to get Arabella to sign the contract. We need to see the share certificate and bonus first, otherwise..."
"Davina!" Nohe Qin interjected with authority, "The preparation of the share contract and dividends also takes time. Since Dad has promised, he will definitely give it to us!"
Davina Shen was about to retort but decided against it and held her words.
"Arabella, why don't you go with grandpa first? Don't keep the people in Dongzhou Building waiting!" Nohe Qin suggested, turning to Arabella Qin.
"Okay," Arabella Qin nodded after contemplating for a moment.
"Arabella, I made it up to you!" Randy Ling stood up, his smile warm.
"Hmm," Lucinda Qin nodded and looked at Arabella Qin, saying, "Sister, let's go!"
"Okay," Arabella Qin responded and walked towards the door.
Andrew Qin glared at Nohe Qin, his wife, and Randy Ling once more before leaving.
"Dad, don't leave. I want you to accompany me. I don't want dad to leave," Viola protested upon hearing that Randy Ling was departing, clutching his hand tightly.
"Brother-in-law, you can play with Viola at home. My sister and I will go there," Lucinda Qin offered.
"That's fine. If you need anything, call me anytime," Randy Ling said after giving it some thought.
"But the old man was so embarrassed that he came to invite him personally, so we can't go too far."
"Hmph, I don't even want to explain it to you!" Davina Shen shot him an annoyed look. "I'm going to cook!"
"Cook larger portions; Randy Ling and Sherod Lu are also having lunch at home!" Nohe Qin called out.
"Thank you, auntie!" Randy Ling and Sherod Lu exchanged smiles.
"Dad, you and Uncle Lu are in for a treat today. Grandma's cooking is delicious. You must eat more later," Viola chimed in sweetly.
"Haha, okay!" The two laughed heartily.
"You're the kind of person who won't turn back even after hitting a wall!" Davina Shen looked at Nohe Qin with irritation after the others left.
"I bet you that after Arabella signs the contract for them, they will definitely turn their backs and deny it!"
"Davina, I know you have a lot of resentment towards the Qin family," Nohe Qin sighed, continuing the conversation.
"I know," Davina Shen muttered. "I didn't need you to explain it to me."
Surprisingly, she was in a good mood today, especially when she saw Andrew Qin and his son looking flustered and defeated. She felt a sense of relief she hadn't experienced in a long time.
She knew that all of this was thanks to Randy Ling, and her perception of him had subtly changed.
Time sped by, and an hour slipped away in the blink of an eye.
Ding! Ding!
Nohe Qin's phone received a text message notification. He picked it up and saw that it was a message from Arabella.
"Randy Ling, about the Dongzhou Building contract, can Arabella really sign it once she gets there? There won't be any surprises, right?" Nohe Qin then turned to Randy Ling for reassurance.
"Don't worry, Uncle; there will definitely be no problem!" Randy Ling smiled and nodded.
"That's good!" A look of relief washed over Nohe Qin's face.
"I was wondering what it was that made you so happy. But it's not even your company!" Davina pouted and then returned to her work.
"Randy Ling, thank you, thank you so much!" Nohe Qin ignored Davina Shen, turned to Randy Ling, and sincerely expressed his gratitude.
"Uncle, you're too kind; there's no need to thank me," Randy Ling replied with a smile.
"Haha, it's done, it's really done!" After reading the message, Nohe Qin was overjoyed.
"Why are you so happy?" Davina Shen emerged from the kitchen.
"The contract is signed!" Nohe Qin announced with a smile.
"Great!" Nohe Qin was in high spirits as he promptly called Arabella Qin.
"Arabella, where are you now, and when can we expect you back home?"
"We're in a taxi, probably about twenty minutes away," Arabella Qin replied.
"That's wonderful. Dad is the best; I knew he could pull it off," Viola exclaimed, putting down her toy.
"Haha, thank you, Viola, for the praise." Randy Ling affectionately patted Viola's head.
Fifteen minutes later, Davina Shen emerged from the kitchen once more. "Old Qin, please call Arabella and ask when they'll arrive home so I can prepare lunch!"
"Arabella, what's going on!?" Nohe Qin was taken aback and exclaimed.
However, there was no response from the other end of the call.
"Arabella? Arabella?" Nohe Qin called out repeatedly but received only silence from the phone.
"Okay, grab a bottle of wine on your way back. I'll have a drink with Randy Ling and Sherod Lu this afternoon!" Nohe Qin said with a smile.
Bang!
Before he could finish, a loud crash echoed from the phone's receiver.
"What's wrong?" Davina Shen cried out, alarmed. 'Quickly, try calling Lucinda!!'
"Yes!" Nohe Qin nodded and dialed Lucinda Qin's number again.
The result was the same: the ringtone continued for a long time, but no one answered.
But this time, the ringtone rang for an extended period, and no one picked up the phone.
"No one picked up either!" Nohe Qin looked at Davina Shen and Randy Ling.
"Huh!?" Randy Ling frowned again.
"Uncle, what's wrong?" Randy Ling inquired, his brow furrowing.
"Arabella's taxi must have crashed!" Nohe Qin said with nervousness. "No one is answering Arabella's phone right now."
"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu... Mom, I want mom, will mom be fine..." Viola cried.
"Uncle, auntie, look at Viola, I'll go find Arabella." After finishing speaking, Randy Ling and Sherod Lu rushed to the door.
"You don't know where they are, where are you going to find them?" Davina Shen shouted.
"Nothing will happen to them, right?" Davina Shen asked, her voice filled with anxiety.
"Don't worry too much, I will definitely find them," Randy Ling assured them as they hurried outside.
"Drive in the direction of Qin's Group first!" Randy Ling instructed and then dialed Webb Shen's number.
"Young Master Ling!" The phone rang, and Webb Shen answered.
"I'll send you a phone number, and have someone find the location right away!" Randy Ling said in a deep voice.
"Yes!" Webb Shen responded after being stunned for a moment.
After hanging up the phone, Randy Ling sent Arabella Qin's number and stepped on the gas to exit the neighborhood.
Ding! Ding!
In less than five minutes, Webb Shen's message came through.
"Go to this location!" Randy Ling handed the phone to Sherod Lu after setting up the navigation.
"Yes!" Sherod Lu took the phone and pressed the gas pedal to the floor.
The address sent by Shen Le was on a relatively remote road. Very few cars usually passed by, and only taxi drivers were familiar with this kind of route.
Screech!
About fifteen minutes later, Sherod and Randy pulled up next to a disfigured taxi.
