The two of them exchanged a few more words, and it was getting late, so Ava Xi took her leave.
The two little ones followed Ja Jiang around the room like two small tails. After Ja Jiang tidied up for a while, she finally had time to turn her attention to them.
"Did you have fun at kindergarten today? Did you have any quarrels with your friends?"
The two little ones thought for a moment and nodded vigorously, "It was very enjoyable. When we finished school today, our friends gave us a lot of snacks!"
Upon hearing this, Ja Jiang couldn't help but laugh, "You guys are quite popular, huh?"
Harlan nodded seriously and looked at his brother, Hale, "Today, there was also a girl who said she wanted to marry big brother when she grows up!"
"Really?" Ja Jiang chuckled as she looked at her own son.
Hale was momentarily surprised, then he glanced at his younger brother, his ears turning slightly red, "There was one, but I didn't agree."
Harlan pinched his ear and made a funny face at him.
Seeing the two little ones playing around, Ja Jiang's face was filled with smiles.
Although it was getting late, the two little ones continued to pester her, talking about their kindergarten adventures for quite a while. Most of the time, Harlan talked at length, and then Hale summarized.
Ja Jiang listened attentively, occasionally laughing at their cute antics. By the time she realized it, it was almost ten o'clock.
"It's time to go to bed. You have kindergarten tomorrow!"
Ja Jiang put away her smile and urged the two little ones to rest. They obediently stopped talking and went upstairs to rest.
Early the next morning, Ja Jiang dropped them off at kindergarten and then drove to the research institute.
After the morning meeting, Ja Jiang and Clark Gu came out of the conference room together.
"How was it yesterday? Mr. Qin's condition, do you have a solution?"
Clark Gu asked with concern.
Ja Jiang nodded slightly, "Old master Qin's condition seems quite serious, and the treatment is a bit tricky, but it's not impossible to solve. It will just take a longer treatment period. I'll probably be going there frequently in the next few days, so I'll trouble you here."
Upon hearing this, Clark Gu looked at her admiringly and teased, "I didn't expect that after all the renowned doctors the Qin family consulted were helpless, it would become less tricky in your hands, Dr. Jiang. Your words make us feel inadequate!"
His words were meant as both teasing and genuine admiration.
After all, among those doctors who were helpless, he himself was included.
Ja Jiang smiled nonchalantly, "It's just that it happens to be my familiar field."
Seeing her calm demeanor, Clark Gu's heart fluttered again.
"By the way, although Mr. Qin hasn't fully recovered yet, the Qin family has agreed to provide us with medicinal herbs. We should be able to sign the contract today. Moreover, the first batch will be supplied for free, which resolves our urgent need for herbs. We won't have to worry about it in the future."
Ja Jiang then mentioned the supply of medicinal herbs, and her face was filled with joy at the thought.
Clark Gu raised his eyebrows in surprise, "Really? The Qin family is willing to sign a contract with us as soon as Old master Qin wakes up?"
Ja Jiang nodded with a smile.
Receiving her confirmation, Clark Gu praised her, "It seems that they have been won over by your medical skills. You're truly remarkable."
Ja Jiang smiled casually, "I've just done what I could. I hope there won't be any unexpected complications with Old master Qin's condition."
"With you personally involved, everything will go smoothly," Clark Gu said confidently.
