Frustrated yet finding it laughable,
She felt unworthy herself.
In his eyes, she had never been qualified...
She self-mockingly lowered her gaze and didn't speak again. She heartlessly raised her hand, slowly prying the little girl's hand off her clothing.
The little girl wanted to reach out again but was caught mid-air by her.
"Hale and Harlan still wait for Auntie. You are a good girl and go back with Daddy. Auntie needs to find them," she said.
Ja Jiang patted the girl's head, placed her hand by her side, quickly greeted the teacher, and then walked away without looking back.
In the car, the two little ones were sitting properly. When they saw her getting in, they innocently asked, "Mommy, what's wrong with you?"
Ja Jiang took a deep breath and forced a smile, "Nothing, let's go home."
After saying that, she started the car and drove away from the kindergarten gate.
On the other side, Andrew Li was still standing in place, his gaze fixed on the teacher beside him. "Her son, is he also attending school here?"
The teacher didn't know what their issue was, but she could clearly feel the oppressive aura emanating from the man. She replied cautiously, "Yes, Miss Jiang's twins also attend our school..."
Before she could finish her sentence, the man's cold and stern voice interrupted, "When did they start?"
"Just... a few days ago," the teacher answered cautiously.
"Inform your principal, immediately expel those two children from the kindergarten. Otherwise, next semester, the Li family won't invest a single penny in your kindergarten!" Andrew Li's face was as dark as water.
Having said that, without giving the teacher time to react, he picked up Nora and left in long strides.
When they left the kindergarten, the car that had been parked next to his was gone.
Andrew Li glanced at the empty spot, then withdrew his gaze and carried Nora into the car.
As soon as they got in, Nora struggled to get out of his arms.
Andrew Li didn't stop her and let her crawl to the other side.
Nora angrily held a small notebook and wrote on it with determination.
After a while, the sound of her pen stopped.
Clearly, she was very upset and didn't approach him as she usually did. She sat there holding the notebook and glared at him.
Andrew Li furrowed his brows and sighed inwardly, then turned to look.
He saw a single line of words written on the notebook.
"Why don't you let the little brothers come to school!"
Seeing that Dad was looking, Nora angrily held the notebook up to his eyes.
Andrew Li's eyebrows twitched slightly, he withdrew his gaze, and said coldly, "There's no reason, if you must know, it's because it makes me happy."
As soon as he finished speaking, he felt some movement on the other side of the seat.
He turned to look, and Nora angrily tossed the notebook aside, moved herself to the window, and turned her head away, even though she didn't say anything, her whole body was saying: I don't want to see Daddy.
Andrew Li raised an eyebrow, "You being angry won't change my decision."
Nora turned her head again, glaring at him.
Daddy is mean, Daddy is the worst!
She likes the pretty aunt, and she also likes those two little brothers.
But Daddy argues with the pretty aunt and won't let the little brothers come to kindergarten!
Thinking that she won't be able to see the two little brothers at the kindergarten anymore, Nora felt sad.
Daddy is really unreasonable!
She doesn't want to like Daddy anymore...
