After hanging up the phone, Carter Du didn't go to sleep. Instead, he made several more calls and asked some people to come to his house. "First thing tomorrow morning, head to Bin City."
"Get everything ready, and when necessary, use any means necessary!"
"Yes, Mr. Du!" The people before him felt a chill in their hearts and immediately responded.
If there were any underworld figures here, they would be utterly terrified. Among these people were 'Night God of Death' Presley, 'Ghost Knife' Finnick, and even the supposedly weakest among them took off his sunglasses to reveal an empty eye socket – it was Logan, the 'Mad Dragon' who, three years ago in Yangzhou, single-handedly defeated 278 experts in sixteen streets and still survived!
If they were in any part of the underground world, these few individuals would be big shots! Just a single word from them could make things happen in a big way, with hundreds or thousands of people ready to kneel and follow their lead!
And they were all taking orders from Carter Du!
Who could know this?
Who would dare believe it?
This time, Carter Du laid all his cards on the table. At the first sign of any trouble, he planned to unleash everything he had in one swift move, fast like a sudden thunderstorm, leaving no chance for anyone to react or resist!
Like a tiger pouncing on a rabbit, he would use all his strength!
The matter of Paradise Estates was of utmost importance and could not afford the slightest mistake!
Meanwhile, Allen Chen was still unaware that his meddling had provoked such a terrifying opponent!
The next morning, after spending some time with Ava Liu, Allen Chen got up and washed.
Ava Liu teased him, saying, “What’s the matter? Can’t keep up after just a few days?”
“You wild thing. If it weren’t for something I must do later, I'd make sure you couldn’t leave the bed for three days and three nights.” Allen Chen pinned her down on the bed.
After about half an hour of vigorous activity, Ava Liu was left speechless, lying on the bed, panting heavily in satisfaction.
Allen Chen patted her buttocks and smiled, “I’ve already ordered food for you. Eat first. I'll be back for another three hundred rounds.”
“Mhm,” Ava Liu kissed him, “Go on, I’m going to sleep now.”
She was really worn out.
Allen Chen laughed heartily and teased her once more.
“Ah!” Ava Liu immediately cried out, begging, “Stop, I really can’t take any more!”
Half an hour later, Allen Chen changed into a new set of clothes and drove the car provided by his company to Bin City Avenue.
The Sin Exhibition Hall!
On its first day of opening, admission was free. When Allen Chen arrived, there were already hundreds of people inside.
The security guard at the entrance glanced at him and asked, “Sir, are you here to see the exhibition?”
“Yes, I’m a friend of Miss Shen. My name is Allen Chen.” Allen Chen replied with a smile.
The security guard immediately became more respectful and said, “Please wait a moment, Mr. Chen. I will notify Miss Shen.”
“No need for that,” Emma Shen had already approached.
She was dressed differently than when Allen Chen first saw her, looking more formal and even more captivating.
She wore a black suit jacket with a white silk lining underneath, emphasizing her already impressive figure, making her look whiter, larger, rounder, and more tempting.
Below, she wore a black short skirt, showing off her long, fair legs. The sound of her crystal shoes tapping rhythmically on the floor made one associate her legs with exquisite jade.
Allen Chen looked at her delicate and beautiful face, and his heart skipped a beat. “Miss Shen, are you here to receive me?”
"Of course. Thank you so much, Mr. Chen, for coming to this exhibit," Emma Shen said with a sweet smile on her face.
Just that smile made Allen Chen feel very happy. "You're too kind, Miss Shen."
"I'm not one to be overly polite," Emma Shen said with a smile. "Especially to a treasure appraisal expert like you."
Treasure appraisal expert?
Allen Chen, looking a bit amused and embarrassed, quickly waved his hands, insisting he wasn't one. Just then, he noticed a cold, harsh stare directed at them.
"Miss Shen, and you, young man, what a coincidence we meet again," Oscar Fang said, approaching with a cold expression. Beside him was an old, thin man with white hair, wearing a wooden nameplate that read "Bin City Appraisal Association President Leonardo Jin."
Emma Shen's expression changed abruptly. "Mr. Fang, what brings you here?"
"I'm here to support your exhibition, of course," Oscar Fang said with a smile. "Right, President Jin?"
"Hehe, Miss Shen, I've heard that you've spent a lot collecting evidence of the Japanese atrocities, so I wanted to see for myself," Leonardo Jin said, squinting his eyes and smiling. "You wouldn't turn us away, would you?"
"I suppose not. After all, your sign says everyone is welcome except the Japanese, regardless of age or gender," Oscar Fang said with a smile. "You're not one to go back on your word, right?"
"Of course not," Emma Shen said through gritted teeth, forcing a smile. "Everyone is a guest. Please, go ahead."
"Hehe, I knew Miss Shen would be generous," Oscar Fang said triumphantly, walking towards the exhibition hall.
Leonardo Jin followed, still smiling. "Everyone from the association, follow me. Today, Miss Shen will surely give us quite a show!"
"Yes, President," a group of association members replied, following him.
Although a few of them gave Emma Shen a sympathetic look, it quickly disappeared. They knew their leader, President Leonardo Jin, didn't come here with good intentions.
Watching them go inside, Emma Shen said, "Mr. Chen, let's go in too."
"Sure," Allen Chen nodded.
As they entered, the crowd inside was surprised to see so many people arriving at once. "Isn't that Mr. Fang from Mystic Antiques, and President Jin? What are they doing here?"
"There's going to be some drama today."
"Exactly. Mr. Fang has always been at odds with Miss Shen, and President Jin is his old buddy. They're definitely here to cause trouble!"
"That's really too much! Miss Shen's doing something great for the country and the people, and they come here to sabotage. That's awful!"
"Shh, keep it down."
"Hmph!" After overhearing some of these comments, Oscar Fang snorted and said, "President Jin, please lead your team to examine Miss Shen's collection thoroughly."
"That's exactly what I was thinking," Leonardo Jin said with a sly smile, nodding at his members.
The members spread out, scrutinizing the items in the display cases with critical eyes.
Leonardo Jin approached the museum's most conspicuous weapon rack, which displayed three Japanese swords, one of which was the Kikumaru lineage’s sword previously sold by Allen Chen!
After looking at it for a moment, Leonardo Jin sneered, "Miss Shen, you're really despicable, aren't you?"
