The car stopped at the entrance of the hotel.
"Mr. Hoyle, here we are." Dave turned back and told him, but Alan did not respond, as if he had really slept.
Olive pulled his sleeve with her fingers.
His palm slid down from his leg, pressing her fingers on the chair, and the closed eyes opened.
Olive felt like an electric shock and quickly pulled out her fingers. She could the hot temperature in his palm and it seemed to scorch her heart.
The heating in the car didn’t turn on, but Olive felt that she was beginning to sweat slightly, while Alan got off the car as if nothing had happened.
Dave has already booked the house. She could see the sea view from her room. The sparks and lights outside the window flashed, which were chaotic and beautiful, just like her mood at the moment.
Alan lived on the same floor with her. The waiter delivered the dinner to the room alone.
She looked at the closed door. "Did the gentleman in room 1307 eat?"
"Mr. Hoyle is resting. He said that he would call when necessary. This is the dinner Mr. Hoyle ordered for you. I hope you have a pleasant meal." The waiter answered professionally and smiled appropriately.
Closing the door, Olive sat on the balcony and ate all the food. He specially ordered for he. Such an opportunity may not have in the future. It could not be wasted.
Waiting for the waiter to clear the dishes and go out, Olive took a bath, wrapped in Hotel pajamas, and stood on the balcony to see the scenery. Winter in Sanya was really warm.
When the sea breeze brushed her face, it smelled salty and wet. In the distance, there were bright fireworks, which seemed to be celebrating something.
Looking over her shoulder, she leaned out and saw the darkness on the balcony next door. There was no light in his room. He was probably asleep.
He did not rest for hours on the plane.
She actually slept with a magazine in her hand. When she woke up, she found her head was on his shoulder. He didn't push her away and let her lean so close and he worked with one hand.
At that moment, in addition to embarrassment, it was more of an unspeakable feeling. For a long time afterwards, she dared not look at his face, especially his eyes which had fatal attraction.
She was uneasy. Or she maybe sleep for a few hours on the plane. She was refreshed and sleepless. She changed her clothes, took her room card, took her wallet and mobile phone out of the room.
The carpet in the corridor was so thick that she stepped on it and her feet were covered. There was an illusion of vanity. Someone came out of the room in front of her, and Olive was stunned for a while, "Assistant Harrod?"
Dave turned around and was slightly surprised. "Is Assistant Steele still awake?"
Olive laughed embarrassingly.'Maybe I have got used to my bed and I can’t sleep. So I want to go out and have a look at the night scenery of the city. Assistant Harrod, you're going out, too?
Dave scratched his hair. "Like you, I can’t sleep. Since both of us have this trouble, how about go out together?"
"Great. I happen to be a road fool. I am afraid if I go out, I could not find the way back." She was not familiar with the place and it was better to have a companion and they also could have a talk.
Two people walked out of the hotel one by one. The strange streets, exuded the atmosphere of tropical coastal cities. They had no destination, just walking aimlessly.
"Assistant Steele, is this your first visit to Hainan?" Dave seemed to ask casually.
Olive said with a laugh, "I am not afraid you laugh at me. Besides I stay in Jiangcheng to learn in college for several years. I just have traveled to Beijing with my classmates. And then I haven't left Luo city yet. I am just like a bird in a cage. The sky is very small. Assistant Harrod, you must have been to many cities, haven't you?”
"Well, just so. I've gone a lot places with Mr. Hoyle. But for girls, it's a good thing to be safe and stale."
"Maybe." Olive sighed slightly, "Assistant Harrod , you and Mr. Hoyle..."
"Since we are alumni, don't call me so politely in private." Dave interrupted her with a smile...
Olive also laughed, "Well, then you don't be so polite, just call me Olive, Comrade senior Dave."
This senior Dave seemed to shorten the distance between two people.
The hotel was next to the sea, and they soon came to the seaside. Dave pointed to the front and said, "Let's sit over there."
"OK." Olive had no objection.
They stepped on the soft beach which rustled. The small sands fell into her shoes and Olive simply took her shoes off and threw them on the ground.
They sat on the ground, looking up to see the bright moon hanging in the sky. The sea was illuminated by neon lights into seven colors. The sea was sparkling.
There were bright lights all around, and there were many late-returning tourists on the beach.
Dave turned his head and said, "By the way, Olive, what did you ask me just now?"
She wanted to ask more questions about Alan. But she had to pretend that nothing happened finally.
Olive laughed, found a shell in the sand and threw it into the sea. "It's nothing. I just think that Mr. Hoyle seems to trust you. You must have followed him for a long time. I think you must know him well."
"When Mr. Hoyle was not in power with Hoyle company, I followed him and it is neither long nor short. To be honest, I admire him very much." Dave said.
"For example..." Olive tried to behave more naturally.
"You seem to be interested in Mr. Hoyle." Dave laughed a little meaningfully, but eventually the night hid his exploration in his eyes.
