Hearing that she had to buy all the clothes, the female employee was on the verge of tears.
She didn't know what to do.
Her monthly salary was only around five or six thousand yuan.
And the clothes she had just stained were worth at least a few hundred thousand.
For her, this was an astronomical sum.
"Cindy Chen, are you even human? You did that on purpose," William Li cursed, unable to believe Cindy Chen had changed so much.
"So what? If you feel sorry for her, why don't you buy all the clothes?" Cindy Chen sneered.
Thinking to herself, "An intern dares to oppose me!"
The intern stood there helplessly and crying.
Just then, Aiden Ye spoke up, "I'll take these clothes, and also, I want every piece in this store that fits me and William."
"Haha, Aiden Ye, why don't you just say you want to fly to the moon? Buy everything here. Do you know how much that would cost? At least a million!" Cindy Chen laughed mockingly.
"Just a million? Swipe the card!" Aiden Ye handed his black card to the intern.
"Aiden, do you have that much money on your card?" William Li was somewhat doubtful.
"I don't know," Aiden Ye whispered.
After all, his master said the card had no limit, but Jayden Ning only withdrew five thousand, leaving Aiden Ye unsure.
But he trusted his master a bit more.
"Damn!"
William Li rolled his eyes, worried about the embarrassment if Aiden Ye's card couldn't cover the bill.
Soon, the intern brought out the POS machine and swiped for a million.
Ding! Payment successful.
Aiden Ye's card actually had a million!
Cindy Chen's body shook, shocked that this poor guy was so rich.
If only she had known, she wouldn't have treated them like this.
But now, it was too late.
Go and fawn over them now? She couldn't bring herself to do that.
"So what if you have a million? I said those clothes are at least a million. You probably don't have enough!" Cindy Chen stubbornly said.
"Oh? Then how much for all the clothes in this store?" Aiden Ye asked.
"Five or six million, I guess," Cindy Chen muttered.
She didn't believe Aiden Ye had five or six million in his card!
"Swipe the card!"
"Sir, please don't make impulsive purchases," the intern tried to dissuade Aiden Ye, moved by his gesture to save her, but not wanting him to overspend.
"I can't help it. I'm a bit impulsive by nature. Go ahead and swipe it!" Aiden Ye said.
"But there are so many clothes you won't be able to wear them all, and some don't even fit your size," the intern said.
"That's true…" Aiden Ye pondered.
After a moment, he said, "Then pack up the ones that fit my size. As for the rest, I see there's a used clothing donation spot in the plaza. Send them there, as a donation to the people in the mountains."
"Sir, are you serious?" the intern swallowed hard.
In this store, only about one-fifth of the clothes fit Aiden Ye's size.
That was about a million or more.
The rest, Aiden Ye was planning to donate to the mountains, amounting to several million?
That was… incredibly generous?
Normally, donations are old clothes.
But Aiden Ye was donating brand new, Prada clothes!
The intern was almost convinced she was dreaming.
But a pinch on her thigh, which hurt, confirmed it was real, not a dream!
"Of course, I'm serious. After all, I'm a person with a sense of social responsibility," Aiden Ye said as he took the POS machine and swiped for six million yuan.
"Alright, the payment is made. Could you please pack the clothes for me?"
"Of course, sir!" The intern, realizing she was dealing with a wealthy customer, happily went to pack the clothes.
"Oh, by the way, credit all the sales to you alone!" Aiden Ye added.
Cindy Chen's face at that moment was a picture of varied expressions.
Her face shifted through several emotions.
Finally, she turned to Aiden Ye with a sycophantic smile. "Brother Aiden, I was just joking with you. I always knew you'd make something of yourself."
"Heh, you weren’t saying that just now," Aiden Ye said with a cold laugh.
"Really, I always told William to learn from you. If you don't believe me, ask him." Cindy Chen walked up to William Li and even took his arm.
But William Li pulled his arm away, saying coldly, "Cindy Chen, how can you be so shameless?"
"William, I am shameless, I am cheap, but if you forgive me, you can scold me however you want," Cindy Chen said, going all out.
Unfortunately, William Li had seen through Cindy Chen's true colors and could no longer trust her.
"Miss, please deliver the clothes to this address." Aiden Ye left the address and then left with William Li.
Seeing William Li leaving without a backward glance, Cindy Chen gritted her teeth and said, "What are you so proud of? It's Aiden Ye who has the money, not you, William Li!"
Shortly after Aiden Ye and William Li left, a man dressed lavishly, wearing a Patek Philippe watch and sunglasses, entered the store.
"Sir, what can I help you with?" Cindy Chen went to greet him.
The man looked at Cindy Chen, took off his sunglasses, and said with a surprised face, "Cindy Chen, it's me, Owen Wu!"
"Owen Wu, long time no see. You seem to be doing well!" Cindy Chen eyed Owen Wu's attire, knowing it was worth at least a million.
Owen Wu and Cindy Chen were high school classmates, and he had pursued her, but she chose the tall and strong William Li.
She never imagined Owen Wu would become so wealthy.
"So-so, I started a small company, just making hundreds of millions a year," Owen Wu said modestly.
"Making hundreds of millions, and you call that so-so?" Cindy Chen's eyes widened.
"Cindy, you haven’t changed a bit, still so beautiful," Owen Wu's gaze roamed over Cindy Chen.
Honestly, Cindy Chen's appearance no longer satisfied Owen Wu's tastes.
After all, being so wealthy, he had his fill of beautiful women.
But Cindy Chen was his high school crush, so he wanted to play with her several times.
He wanted to make up for the missed opportunity.
"Do you think I’m pretty?" Cindy Chen asked, not very confident. After all, for a wealthy man like Owen Wu, beautiful women were not hard to find.
"Of course. Cindy, you know I've liked you since high school. Do you have a boyfriend now?" Owen Wu asked.
"I, I don’t..." Cindy Chen said, though she actually had a boyfriend.
"How about being my girlfriend?" Owen Wu's eyes lit up. Regardless of whether Cindy Chen had a boyfriend, he was determined to have her.
"That's a bit too fast..." Cindy Chen wanted to agree immediately but pretended to be reserved.
"Yes, you're right. Oh, by the way, some old classmates are having a gathering tonight at the Prince Hotel. You can come with me."
"Okay." Cindy Chen agreed happily.
