The only wild monster George killed before was the demonized rabbit. However, he killed more than twenty of them. After their death, the corpses were refreshed and there was nothing left on the ground. However, it was different with these foxes. One's body had been refreshed, but the other one's had not.
George tried to put the body of the demonized fox into his backpack, and to his joy, it actually worked.
"In this case, some monster corpses can be collected. Although this demonized fox may not be edible, the hair, teeth, claws and other things on its body may be useful. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do it, so I will keep it first and wait till I get back to the village." George thought.
After putting away the corpse, George walked around again but realised that the two demonized foxes did not drop any equipment, which disappointed him.
"It shouldn't be. Since this is a game world, the monsters should drop equipment after they die. Why isn't there anything? The rabbits didn't drop anything before, but these foxes dropped nothing too. There is no loot. Does it mean that after the monsters here are killed, the equipment would not drop, or the probability of dropping is too low, so it hasn't dropped yet?" George was very confused.
However, he was the only "player" here. He couldn't ask other people, nor could he ask the village chief and the others, because in their consciousness, this world was a real world that they were living in.
George set off on his way again, wondering whether the monsters here would drop equipment. He would know after he killed enough monsters. If there was no loot, he would have no choice but to accept his fate. It's not like he could complain. Even if he did want to, there was no place for him to file his complaints.
Killing two demonized foxes did not guarantee that the remaining trip would be safe. He was still at Level 2. If he encountered a monster with a level that is too high, he would probably be killed.
Therefore, George could only be more careful.
Fortunately, before George found the first herb he was looking for, he didn't encounter any other monsters.
Green Vine Grass: Intermediate herb, can be used as medicine.
The introduction was very simple, but George didn't care. After confirming that it was the one he was looking for, he quickly dug it up with a shovel and put it into his backpack. He found a total of ten green vine grass, which was enough to complete Pharmacist Li's mission.
Fortunately, these ten green vine grasses can be stacked after being put into the backpack. Otherwise, storage would be a problem.
Maybe it was George's luck. After finding the green vine grass, he consecutively found several other herbs that Pharmacist Li needed. The process went smoothly and he did not encounter any monsters.
"The last thing left is the Purple Flame Fruit. If I find it, the mission will be completed." George looked around as he walked, trying to find what he wanted.
"Found it!" Soon, George found the herb he wanted, but his expression wasn't joyful, because there was a tiger-like monster lying next to the purple flame fruit. The tiger had its eyes closed and seemed to be sleeping. However, even if it was sleeping, George could feel the aura radiating from its body.
This was definitely not a low-level monster!
George hid behind the bushes and used the appraisal skill on the tiger.
Colorful Evil Tiger: Level 10
Active attacking monster, with high agility, great strength, strong attack and defense. Skills: unknown.
Sure enough, this was a level 10 monster, which had a level much higher than George. He didn't think he had the ability to fight it now.
However, George didn't even get to think about how to pick the Purple Flame Fruit. After George used the appraisal skill, the colorful evil tiger suddenly raised its head and opened its eyes. It looked around vigilantly, and the powerful aura from his body also spread out.
George quickly laid down, not daring to breathe out for fear of being discovered by the evil tiger.
Fortunately, there was thick patch of grass in front of George, which just managed to cover his figure. Hence, the colorful tiger did not notice George. After looking around and finding nothing, the tiger lowered his head, closed its eyes, and seemed to fall asleep again.
"It's dangerous, so dangerous." George let out a long sigh after seeing the colorful evil tiger closing its eyes again.
In fact, the colorful evil tiger was so vigilant, so how should he dig out the Purple Flame Fruit? Maybe it'll even notice him the moment he gets closer.
Moreover, judging by the tiger's reaction, George thought of the time he used the appraisal skill on Batya Liu at the field during the day. At that time, he had just used the appraisal skill, and the other party had a wary look on her face, exactly like the colorful evil tiger earlier.
"Could it be that when I use the appraisal skill, the target can feel it? However, I used it on the person named Hamish Liu before, and the other person didn't have any reaction." George was a little confused.
This was obviously another thing that puzzled him, "I'll ask the old village chief when I get back, he should know."
This appraisal skill was obtained from the old village chief. He may know more about it.
However, the most important thing at the moment was to figure out a way to pick the Purple Flame Fruit under the guard of the colorful evil tiger.
With George's level 2 strength, it was obviously difficult to confront the colorful evil tiger head-on. As for upgrading, George thought that it was futile at the moment. It seemed difficult to level up in this world, and after killing the monster, he doesn't even know how much experience he gained. With that being said, he didn't know when he would reach level ten. If it took too long and Pharmacist Li was not satisfied, wouldn't the mission be in vain?
He had to come up with something as soon as possible.
George looked at the medicine shovel in his hand and his eyes suddenly lit up.
That's it!
Since this place had close resemblance to the real world, he shouldn't look at it completely from the perspective of the game. He can completely consider the problem from the perspective of the normal, real world.
I can't defeat the tiger, but if I want to trap him or even kill him, I can use other methods.
For example, a trap!
George happened to have the shovel in his hands, which was perfect for digging traps. With the help of a trap, it was not impossible to trap the tiger or even kill it.
Just do it! George immediately stepped back carefully, and started to dig a trap some distance away from the tiger. He did not dare to get too close to it, for fear that if there was any movement, he might be killed. There was no way to escape its clutches.
