Meanwhile, in the surveillance room of the Wine Mansion.
The security captain, Evan, pointed to a person on the monitor screen and said to Aiden, "This is the surveillance video from last night at eight o'clock. He was seen at the entrance of the finance room!"
"He left twenty minutes later."
"This is the video of him coming to the company at seven o'clock this morning."
"He went to Director Ning's office and left half an hour later!"
"Our colleagues who worked the night shift today said he saw him at the entrance of Wild Card Shop!"
Aiden nodded, he patted his shoulder and said, "Thank you, Captain Li!"
Evan looked grateful and said, "You're being too polite, Mr. Chen!"
"Thanks to you these past few days, my shoulder has improved a lot from your acupuncture"
"And if it weren't for you, the air conditioning in the security department wouldn't have been replaced with a new one!"
"Mr. Chen, if there's anything you need us to do in the future, just let us know."
"We might not be able to handle detailed tasks, but for running errands and lending a hand, just say the word and we'll get it done!"
All the security guards around nodded in agreement.
The security department was nothing but grateful towards this Aiden.
Although Director Ning was considerate of the security department, sitting in his position meant he couldn't possibly attend to everything. Many things slipped his mind.
As for others, not many people could look up to these security guards.
Even if they were polite on the surface, their eyes carried a sense of superiority. They were treating them like a group of patrolmen, different from those with uniforms and status.
Only Aiden truly treated them as equals, with no condescending attitude in his words or actions.
That's why everyone could accept him.
His phone rang, and Aiden checked it. It was a call from Liam.
"Master, we've located him. He's at East Mountain Railway Station! I'm at the Transportation Department monitoring hall now. We'll bring people over shortly!"
In the waiting hall of East Mountain Railway Station, Oliver took the ticket he just bought and said to Sam, "Boss, this isn't a ticket back to Corentas, it's for me to go to Fanta!"
"Why do I have to go to that poor place..."
Sam cursed and gritted his teeth, "You idiot! If you had succeeded last night, you wouldn't have to go anywhere, you could have stayed here!"
"But you messed it up for me! That girl is fine! Do you dare to stay under her nose?"
"Don't worry, you won't have to stay in Fanta for long. Someone won't wait too long. It's time to act!"
Oliver muttered with his head down, "Boss, she's your own niece. I'm just afraid of going too far..."
Sam whispered angrily, "I know who she is! I didn't ask you to kill her! I just want to cripple her and make her hand over the company!"
"It's all because of that kid, Aiden!" Oliver cursed through gritted teeth, "If it wasn't for him meddling, we would have succeeded last night!"
Just mentioning Aiden made Sam feel a dull pain in his forehead.
He cursed through gritted teeth, "Damn son-in-law! Does he want to turn the Ning family upside down? He won't be arrogant for long! The person that's going to deal with him will be here soon!"
Oliver looking somewhat worried and said to Sam, "Boss, that kid is not an ordinary person!"
"You saw the video from last night. His strength is really frightening!"
"You have to be careful!"
Sam's face darkened as he said, "He's just a martial artist with a little skill!"
"What year is it now? Still practicing martial arts?"
"Let him enjoy himself for a couple of days. Once the hired help arrives, he will disappear from here. That girl and the old lady won't be able to protect him!"
"Hey, where are you two going?" Suddenly, a voice came from behind.
Sam and Oliver both turned pale and looked back at the person who seemed to have dropped from the sky!
Aiden patted his shaved head and walked over confidently.
After leaving Green Mountain, no one shaved his head anymore. Now, his hair had grown out, feeling awkwardly stiff.
Sam looked coldly at Aiden and asked, "What are you doing here?"
Aidenn casually replied, "Nothing, just wandering around, getting to know the city."
"Nonsense!"
"Just wandering around and you end up at the train station? It's more than 20 miles from the company and Panlong Bay."
Aiden squinted at Sam and said, "Did you also just wander around to get here?"
Sam snorted coldly and disdainfully said to him, "Do I need to report to you where I go? Who do you think you are?"
"Let me remind you, I am Director Ning's representative in the company. Outside, I am Abigale's uncle!"
"You are the son-in-law of the Ning family, don't even know how to show respect to your elders?"
"You're a disgrace!"
Aiden's face darkened and he threatened, "You are so rude. Do you want to drink soup again?"
Just mentioning drinking soup was enough to remind Sam of his humiliation.
He pointed at Aiden and cursed, "Don't be cocky!"
In two days, it will be your death!
"I will make you repay with interest for your insults to me!"
"Oh?" Aiden looked curious and smiled at Sam. "Two days? My death? Really?"
Sam took a deep breath, realizing he had revealed some secrets and dared not say more.
He snorted, "You are too arrogant. Even heaven won't tolerate you!"
Oliver who had been trembling with fear since Aiden appeared, tried to slip away while Sam was talking to him.
However, several young people with unusual appearances and unfriendly expressions blocked his way. He realized the situation and discreetly stood beside Sam.
Seeing Aiden looking at him, he quickly put on a smile and asked Aiden, "Mr. Ning, who is this guy?"
Aiden grinned, waved at him and said, "Hey! Nice to finally meet you!"
"I'm Aiden Chen, the son-in-law of the Ning family. I represent my wife, Abigale, to thank you for giving her a vacation!"
Oliver had never seen a son-in-law like this, shamelessly introducing himself in that way...
It seemed that this reverse-status was a kind of honor for him!
But for Oliver, his words were like a bolt from the blue!
He forced a smile and said to Aiden, "You're kidding, right? I don't have the right to give President Ning a vacation... What are you doing? Where do you want to take me? My train is about to board!"
Aiden put his arm around his shoulder and said with a smile, "We hit it off, and I want to find a place to have a drink with you!"
"You must give me face. Even if you don't, it doesn't matter, whether you go or not is not up to you!"
"By the way, you're Abigale's uncle, right? Come along!"
"If you don't give me face, I might have to make you drink soup in front of all these people!"
East Mountain in the western suburbs.
East Mountain City was named after this mountain.
The winding mountain road encircled the mountain like a giant python. There were few cars passing by because a tunnel had been built through the mountain in the past two years, leaving the mountain road semi-abandoned.
However, this was a paradise for millions of drifting enthusiasts!
Under the big locust tree at the mountaintop, two people were hanging, screaming hoarsely as the mountain wind howled around them. Unfortunately, their voices had gone hoarse, and there was no hero to rescue them.
By the roadside, Aiden leisurely roasted a chicken leg and said to the two people who were hanging on the tree, "Scream as much as you want, shout your heart out."
"When you're ready to talk and I'm satisfied with what you say, I'll let you down!"
Sam cursed at him, "Damn it! Let me down!"
"You're abusing your power! This is illegal!"
"I warn you, let me down now, and I might not pursue this. Otherwise, get ready to go to jail!"
Aiden grinned, he was holding a knife for cutting meat. "Let you down, huh? Alright!" With a flick of his hand, the knife flew out, cutting the hemp rope that bound them to the tree!
