On a summer day at noon, on a certain street in the northern suburbs of Ning City. Stanley Du rode his bicycle and arrived at the entrance of the Greenview Community Hospital. He's 21 years old. After this summer break, he will be starting his senior year at Ning City University Medical School. Currently, he's working as a temporary helper at Greenview Community Hospital. This hospital is privately owned and not very large, with just a dozen or so medical staff. The patients who come here are all local residents, and the doctors here can only treat minor illnesses and injuries. For those with serious or urgent conditions, the doctors here dare not treat them. Stanley Du locked his bicycle and was about to go inside to start work. At this moment, a red Honda Civic pulled up from a distance and stopped next to Stanley Du. The car door swung open, revealing a pair of long legs in stockings stepping out. When Stanley Du saw those long legs, he couldn't help but gulp. Two young men who were at the hospital to seek medical attention were also looked at those long legs, and their eyeballs were almost popping out of their sockets. The next moment, a beautiful woman with a curvy figure wearing a tight purple skirt got out of the car. The beauty had extremely high attractiveness, fair skin, and delicate features. She was named Dinah Yang, and her father owned this community hospital. Dinah Yang not only had good looks and a great figure, but she also had a high IQ. When she was in elementary school, she skipped two grades. When she went to college, she completed her medical degree at Tendu Medical University in just two years, making her a top student. If it weren't to get close to Dinah Yang, Stanley Du wouldn't be working in this small hospital with a low monthly salary of 1,300 yuan. But Dinah Yang only gave Stanley Du a casual glance and didn't even greet him before walking into the hospital. At this moment, a slightly overweight female doctor urgently said to Dinah Yang, "Dinah, you've arrived just in time. We have an emergency patient, and your parents are not here. None of us doctors can handle this patient. Please go check it out." Hearing this, Dinah Yang didn't even have time to change into her white coat before hurrying to the emergency room. Stanley Du also followed. In the emergency room, a woman in her sixties was lying on a bed and kept complaining that she had a headache. A man in his thirties stood by the bed, looking distressed. Dr. Sean Wang, the male doctor, was about to give the elderly woman a painkiller injection. Upon seeing Dinah Yang, he quickly said, "Dinah Yang, your medical skills are better than mine. Please take a look at this elderly lady." After checking the elderly woman's blood pressure and heartbeat, Dinah Yang said, "It's not a big problem, she's having a migraine attack." Then Dinah Yang turned around and instructed a nurse, "Prepare a high-dose injection of ibuprofen for the elderly woman." The nurse quickly prepared the medication. Dinah Yang intended to administer the injection and IV herself. At this moment, Stanley Du suddenly intervened and stopped her. "What are you trying to do?" Dinah Yang frowned and glared at Stanley Du. "Don't interfere with the patient's treatment!" Stanley Du, a mere temporary worker doing odd jobs, dared to interfere with her patient's treatment? It seemed like he didn't want to keep his job. "Dinah Yang, ibuprofen has some side effects, and the elderly woman's health is not the best. So, I think you shouldn't give her a high-dose ibuprofen injection," Stanley Du calmly said. Upon hearing this, the son of the elderly woman, the man in his thirties who was guarding the bedside, tightened his expression and looked at Dinah Yang. Dinah Yang, however, coldly replied to Stanley Du, "I am in charge of the elderly woman's treatment. I will decide which medication to use, and you don't need to interfere." Stanley Du kept silent. The son of the elderly woman was still concerned and asked Dinah Yang, "Dr. Yang, are you sure it's safe to inject ibuprofen into my mother?” "Don't worry, ibuprofen is specifically used to treat migraines. Once I give your mother the injection, her pain will subside," Dinah Yang replied calmly. "But this male doctor just..." The man hesitated as he pointed to Stanley Du. "Haha, you misunderstood. This young man is not a doctor at our hospital; he's just a temporary worker doing odd jobs here." Before Dinah Yang could respond, the male doctor Sean Wang couldn't wait and mocked Stanley Du. After learning that Stanley Du was just a temporary worker, the trust level of the elderly woman's son plummeted to zero. He looked at Stanley Du with disdain and hostility. At that moment, Sean Wang continued to taunt Stanley Du, "I must say, Stanley, you are just a temporary worker here, and you don't even have a medical license. How dare you question Dinah Yang's treatment plan? Who gave you the courage? Do you still want to work here?" "Enough, Sean, please stop. Stanley Du, the emergency room is not your workstation. Go attend to your duties." Dinah Yang interrupted Dr. Wang's mockery of Stanley Du. Stanley Du, however, was very unhappy with Dr. Wang. Damn, if Dinah Yang looked down on me, I could live with that. Who could blame me for having a thing for a knockout like her? But you, Sean Wang, we're in the same boat, just earning our keep in this small hospital. What makes you think you can look down on me? "Why are you still standing there? The floor tiles in the restroom need cleaning. Go clean them quickly." Seeing that Stanley Du still refused to leave, Dinah Yang urged impatiently. Stanley Du glanced at Dinah Yang, nodded, and walked away. He had already warned Dinah Yang, but she had brushed it off. Moreover, Dinah Yang had allowed Sean Wang to taunt and humiliate him. In this case, there was no need for Stanley Du to stay here and continue being humiliated. Although he was attracted to Dinah Yang's beauty and figure, he wasn't the kind of guy to let a beautiful woman trample all over him. Stanley Du turned and walked out of the emergency room. Shortly after, Dinah Yang gave the elderly woman an injection of ibuprofen. The woman's screams quickly subsided. The son of the elderly woman breathed a sigh of relief, praising Dinah Yang, "Dr. Yang, my mother is much better after the injection. Your medical skills are truly impressive." Dinah Yang was pleased but humbly replied, "Let your mother rest for a while. Once the medication takes effect, she'll be able to leave the hospital." The son of the elderly woman thanked Dinah Yang and escorted her and the medical team out of the emergency room. A few minutes later, Stanley Du was mopping the floor in the men's restroom. Just then, Sean Wang who was in urgent need of the restroom, pushed the door open. Seeing Stanley Du, Sean Wang snorted contemptuously and entered one of the stalls. Stanley Du quickly left the restroom. A few minutes later, Sean Wang also came out of the restroom. He deliberately said to Stanley Du, "Stanley, let me give you a piece of advice. If you want to succeed in your career, you must remember your place, talk less, and work more. Do you understand?" Stanley Du was about to retort. At this moment, the son of the elderly woman rushed out of the emergency room, shouting, "Dr. Yang! Dr. Yang! My mom's condition is getting worse. Please come and see!" Hearing this, Dinah Yang, Sean Wang, and the medical team quickly rushed into the emergency room. Stanley Du threw the mop away and followed. Inside the emergency room, the elderly woman was now convulsing, foaming at the mouth, and in extreme distress. "Dr. Yang, my mother's condition has worsened." The man in his thirties said anxiously, "Did you give her the wrong medication?"
