Not wanting to take any decisions on her own, she reported it over the phone. Baldwin Qi's gaze shifted, noticing a dishevelled middle-aged man in a wrinkled black suit entering the elevator. He frowned slightly. The receptionist then put down her phone and said hesitantly to Baldwin Qi, “Manager Xiang said…” “What did she say?” Baldwin Qi inquired. “Manager Xiang told you to leave,” the receptionist replied awkwardly. Baldwin Qi's expression darkened. Indeed, after so many years, Carena Xiang still couldn't forgive Elder Xiang for his past deeds. If Elder Xiang had stuck to legitimate business and not dabbled in nefarious activities, the Xiang family wouldn't have lost so many members. Baldwin Qi walked over, and the secretary immediately stood up, frowning, "Sir, who are you looking for?" "I'm looking for Manager Xiang," Baldwin Qi calmly said. "Do you have an appointment?" the secretary asked again. "No, Julius Xiang sent me," Baldwin Qi replied. Upon hearing that name, the secretary's expression changed instantly, darkening, "Didn't I just tell you? Leave!" "Manager Xiang doesn't want to hear that name, so please leave immediately! Otherwise, I will call security, or call the police to deal with you!" Baldwin Qi just chuckled, "Your boss is in danger right now. Are you sure you want to deal with me first?" After hearing this, the secretary's expression became even darker, thinking that Baldwin Qi was exaggerating the threat. "Manager Xiang is currently meeting with Manager Wen from Xingxing Electronics factory and doesn't have time to see you!
