On the way to the clinic, Francis figured out what happened at the small clinic yesterday.
It turned out that Madison suffered from unbearable pain on those few days every month.
According to what Madison said, Francis judged that her problem should be primary, which was the so-called functional disorder. Every time she pained, she was in excruciating pain and was accompanied by symptoms of nausea and vomiting.
As a little girl, she had always been embarrassed to talk about this kind of symptoms, but recently the pain was unbearable, so she mustered up the courage to go to the hospital for a check-up.
So, yesterday she went to a small clinic in the county town, where she was treated by a middle-aged male doctor. After listening to her description, he asked her to lie on the hospital bed and check out.
After Madison lay on the hospital bed, she was too nervous to look at the doctor. It wasn't until the doctor closed the door and asked her to take off her clothes that she realized something was wrong.
At that time, she was so ashamed that she immediately jumped out of the hospital bed and left the small clinic in a hurry.
After hearing that, Francis was extremely sure that the middle-aged male doctor was playing rogue. In a hospital focusing on Western medicine, physical examinations usually included blood tests for six hormones and color ultrasound, how could he require a patient to take off her clothes?
Soon, the two came to the outside of the small clinic.
Francis's eyes were slightly cold. He and Madison were childhood sweethearts and grew up together. He couldn't just watch Madison being bullied and remain indifferent. He had to seek justice for Madison.
About to enter the small clinic, Madison twisted the corners of her clothes, feeling a little nervous.
"It's okay."
Francis said with a smile, "As long as I'm here, I won't let that beast bully you again."
"Um!"
Madison nodded and said, "Francis, I believe in you, then I'm going in!"
"Ok."
Watching Madison enter the small clinic, Francis followed closely and they were only a few steps away.
Walking into the small clinic, Francis found that this clinic was really simple. The room was about 100 square meters and was divided into three areas. One area was the pharmacy and dispensing room, and the other area was the infusion room. Another area was the consultation area.
Francis glanced around and found that in the area where was infusion room, there was an elderly couple carrying a two or three-year-old grandson, and in the consultation area, there was a middle-aged man sitting in a white coat, wearing a pair of black-rimmed glasses and holding a mobile phone in his hand, diagnosing seriously.
When Madison walked into the small clinic, Steve's eyes suddenly lit up.
"Oh, you're here."
Steve put down his phone and hurriedly walked up and said, "Why were you running yesterday? I haven't given you a good check-up yet."
At this point, Steve turned straightened and he looked very serious, and said, "Madison, you are in a bad situation. You can't delay it any longer. If you delay it any longer, it will be more serious and it is likely to cause for other complications. When the time comes, even if I want to cure you, there will be nothing I can do."
Looking at his serious look, those who didn't know the situation would have thought he was so serious and responsible towards his patients.
"Since you are here again today, it means that you are more responsible for your own body. In this case, let's go to the inner room at once and check out."
Having said this, Steve rubbed his hands and said excitedly.
"Check? What tests need to be done?"
At this time, Francis suddenly asked.
"Huh? Who are you? What do you do?"
Only then did Steve notice Francis and his eyes wrinkled.
"I am Madison's neighbor, and I am here with her today."
Francis said calmly, "You haven't said what kind of inspection you want to do. Why do you need to go to the inner room for inspection?"
"To avoid suspicion."
Steve said with a serious face, "Her situation is a bit special. It involves her privacy, so we must check it in the inner room."
"What you said is so nice."
Francis snorted coldly, "Madison told me yesterday. Do you still want to lie to her today?"
"Bro, what did you say?"
Steve's face darkened and he said seriously, "I am a doctor. For me, there are only patients, and there is no distinction between men and women. How can I lie to her?"
"Shit!"
Francis sneered and said, "She just has a minor problem. What kind of tests do you do? Let me tell you, don't think that I don't understand anything. I am a medical student. A normal hospital will do blood tests, six hormone tests, and a color ultrasound. Tell me, how did you check it?"
Hearing Francis speaking so professionally, Steve's expression changed. It was obviously not easy for him to fool Francis.
Thinking of this, Steve rolled his eyes, and then said seriously: "Actually, I am a Chinese medicine doctor."
"Chinese medicine?"
Francis seemed to be smiling. Talking about Chinese medicine in front of him was the same as talking in front of a teacher. It was just a joke.
"Yes, actually, I am a Chinese medicine doctor."
Steve looked distressed, "People nowadays don't believe in Chinese medicine at all, so I really have no choice but to open a Western medicine clinic and barely make ends meet. Yesterday, I examined Madison. When I was in the hospital, I discovered that her disease was more effective with traditional Chinese massage, so she misunderstood it."
When Steve was explaining, Francis kept looking at him with a smile, feeling in his heart that he should not be a doctor, but an actor.
"Yeah?"
Francis smiled faintly and said, "Then tell me, in Chinese medicine, what is the principle of this disease? Which acupoints massage or acupuncture needed for treatment?"
One sentence directly stopped Steve from lying. In fact, he knew nothing about Chinese medicine. He was just talking nonsense to cover up that he wanted to be obscene to Madison yesterday.
After being stunned for a moment, Steve's face darkened and he said, "You are a young man, and I am telling you these complicated medical theories. Do you understand?"
"I don't understand? Let me tell you now!"
Francis snorted coldly and said, "In traditional Chinese medicine, this disease is caused by weakness of qi and blood and the poor circulation of them. It can be treated with traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, or massage on the three points of the Foot Margin, Triple Negative Foot, and Chung Chi. Symptoms can be significantly improved.”
Steve heard and was stunned. Could it be that he had met a guy who knew Chinese medicine?
Thinking of this, Steve puffed up, with an elder's happy smile on his face, and he said, "You are so great. Chinese medicine is hopeful. I didn't expect that at such a young age, you actually know a lot about Chinese medicine. Yes, what you said, it is indeed a treatment method in traditional Chinese medicine. Yesterday I just wanted to massage those acupuncture points for her, so she misunderstood."
Seeing his appearance, Francis wanted to give him a slap in the face. This man acted so well.
However, did he really think that things were simple?
